I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Board To Death and Urgent Scare both being removed. They don't seem that great anymore. It seemed like last year, there were fewer monsters roaming the midways than in previous years. I remember going to Haunt in 2007, which was the first year it changed from FearFest to Halloween Haunt. There were a lot more monsters back then. This year will be different because I'm sure there will be Winterfest preparation going on during Haunt. Assuming it's like it was in 2005, they will probably drain the fountain after Labor Day to begin preparation for the ice rink. So Blood Drums might not be the same this year with the fountain being drained. We'll just have to wait and see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I rode Son of Beast in August 2007, not long after it reopened from the 2006 accident. I rode it again later that year in October. And then again in June 2008. I personally enjoyed the coaster a lot, much better than Mean Streak. I'm just glad I got the credit. I would have rode it again with no hesitation had it reopened again. I was at Kings Island on 7/5/17 and I noticed they changed the soundtrack that plays during the fireworks. It's all hits from 1972. The two I can remember for sure are Rocket Man by Elton John and Listen To The Music by the Doobie Brothers. It's nice to hear songs from when the park opened. If you look around, there are lots of dead or half dead trees throughout the park. Many of them are ash trees. When you're on the train sitting at the Soak City station, there are 4 or 5 half dead ash trees right there. They're probably just marking dead ones to remove. Just ate at the International Street Skyline for the first time this season. The setup is much better now. Now, you pay first, then get your food. Last year, it was the opposite. Makes the line go so much faster. Good job KI! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When I was there a few weeks ago, Raptor, TTD, Valravn, Iron Dragon, and Wicked Twister were all closed for several hours. And that was the Saturday of Run and Ride, so the park was really busy. I hope you have a good time at MiA. I have yet to visit that park. I thought about going up a few weeks ago, but they were apparently having issues with rides the first few weeks. There was one corner of the fountain that did not have the wires installed next to the control room. On my last visit, I noticed that maintenance has put wires up in that corner. Hopefully, this keeps the geese from sitting on the edge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
