ok my fault

i didn't say that a train was destroyed.. i said one valied there's a BIG difference

SOB isn't going anywhere for quite a while. it normally runs 2 trains (with the third always around for back-up as far as i know) but one valied about a week ago so they will have to have it inspected before it can run again. i'm not sure where the back-up train is right now but o well. so that's why it's been down to one this week.. and it's only been ONE WEEK it's not like it's been a whole season or anything. i mean come on, they just got off from the off-season. they just need to get warmed up again.

yea when i rode it saturday i knew smething was different with the seats but had no idea what..now i know

ok this has probably been mentioned a million times but as i was walking through AZ yesterday i noticed (for the first time) a robocop3 sign that said something about a new ride coming may 25. as far as i know there aren't any robocop rides in the park or at any other paramount parks. ccould someone tell me what the signs refering to? (it's just one of those poster things that they have for each movie)

i hope it's awake by tomorrow.. i'm going with my little 12 year old brother and if it valleys it'll freak the crap out of him.

(PKI is about 3/4 of the way down)

well i do'nt thnk it could hurt any.. i mean most paramount rides are based after movies.. this time it would just be in reverse

drop zone has a permament magnet for a brake (as do most freefal rides) so the brakes do not rely on electricity at all. it's just two like charges coming together so they "attract" which stops the ride. it's completely fail safe. most drop rides have springs at the bottom of the ride mounted to the tower.. i don't htink DZ has these since it has the magnet but it might have some.. i'll have to check

i'm hoping you just mixed those two rides up sobrider ..lol i mean i can tell from your s/n that you like SOB but man..those things hurt!

i do'nt mind them at all. of course, i'm small. a lot of it doesn't have to do with the restraint but more of just the train. like in FoF i fit fine but even someone who's 5'2" like me has little room on SOB for our legs. but i think they're ok

i'd guess that what happens is the brakes like for MCBR's and ending brakes stay closed all the time except when they open to let the train keep going.

so during a power failure will like none of the brakes work either? cause like if a train's past the lift and it can't stop cause the brakes aren't work en then..well you're screwed..lol i'm not sure how all this works. someone fill me in

this wouldn't surprise me cause wasn't the italian job coaster shown in that paramount survey not too long ago?

i think the park does a great job with every aspect of the park

but it could've very easily been something else pretty awesome

i hope not.. palm trees in BB would be cool but not in the rest of the park
