  1. Yes but last your you had to check in at the GR window to get in. At least I did at Cedar Point.
  2. I would plan for two days. I always plan for 2 days if not 3 for when ever I travel to park. This way if it rains one day you always have the other day or if that sweet ride is down hopefully it will be up the next day. And if all goes well on the 1st day you can take your time taking pictures and videos and really taking in the park. Kings Island you need to have 2 days if your planning on staying in a hotel.
  3. Heck I have a gold pass and there has been to times it wouldn't scan at Kings Island. I had to go to the GR window and have it scan there and they let me in.
  4. I noticed a wind meter on Backlot Stunt Coaster back in the special effects area. I am assuming this is so the fire wont be blown back in your face if its too windy.
  5. Depending on the weather Im asuming it going to be sunny based on my trip last year at the same time. Millennium Force - 45 Top Thrill Dragster: 30 minutes to an hour Mverick- About 1 hour Magnum XL-200 - 10-15 minutes Raptor: 1 hour Mantis: 20-40 minutes. When I went 4 years back I went on a saturday so the lines were pretty crowded (MF: 2 hours, TTD:4 hours).
  6. Giga I dont think we need Millie or Maggie now. Diamondback is far better than Millie and about on par with maggie. What Kings Island needs now is a new modern looping coaster and a full circuit inverted. I would like to see some family, childern, and water park rides before those come to the island.
  7. If its anything like last year expect huge lines for every ride. You probaly will only get about 5 rides in if you stay there all day long.
  8. I will never ride Son of Beast again. I am a taller than average person and being jackhammered and beat up on the ride is too much for me. I used to really love going on the loop since it was just so different. Now with the loop gone and the crappy trains I will gladly refuse to ride Son of Beast.
  9. Parking garage. No way. Kings Island doesn't need any parking lot coasters yet. Figure in 10 years or so Son of Beast will be gone. Theere is still lots of room left to expand if the park doesnt remove rides. I can see lots of rides not making it that far.
  10. I am guessing not but since you only flash your pass to the guards what is stopping you from using a platuim or gold pass from other years?
  11. No one has died on Son of Beast. Many prob. felt like they were going to but know one has.
  12. For those of you who have been on a beast walk back is that area closed off enough to have a possible haunt back there?
  13. Why not lower the prices so its about maybe $1-$2 more than the average meal that way people will think its not worth walking out to the car and driving down the street. Maybe put some higher quality places to yet and some better indoor eating choices.
  14. I think I may have hit my finger just bearly and I mean bearly on The Beast helix tunnel. I felt it hit something but my finger was just black and blue but not broken so I dont know if I hit it or not.
  15. Wow I love your photos. What kind of camera do you have. I like the zoom on it. Ihave been looking for a new camera but I want something small wth lots of zoom so I dont have to be bothered about carrying it in the park.
  16. ^ I dont think that would effect the G's or not if your arms are on the outside of the car. Your body is still travling aournd the track and feeling the same forces. Its like sticking your arm out the window while your in a car. Your arm still moves with car!
  17. Looks cool but Im still wondering why a Terminator ride is a wooden coaster.
  18. Well this trip was't ever fun at all. I looked at the weather forecast and it said chance of rain 30% so I figured I would go ahead and go. I waited for my friend to get out of class and we got to the park about 3:00. Rode Diamondback first with about a 20 minute wait. We got the last seat but I still like the front better. In the splash down I stuck my arm out and got nailed by the spash. After Diamondback we were going to ride The Beast but it was a 30 minute wait and I don't think The Beast is that fun of a ride to wait 30 minutes for. We then rode Black Lot about a 10 minute wait. Still I think that triple helix is one of the best. After that we headed to Firehawk. It had the back section of line open so the line was moving horribly slow. They soon decieded to open up both sides. We got the far side. Heading up the lift the train stopped at the very top. Riders we are experince a tempory mechincal declay. The skys got a little bit darker. The ride associate walked up and gave us no information what so ever but I didnt expect them too. After sitting on the lift for about 30 minutes listening to someone rap the ride finally started. Unfortantly it started to rain and the rides began closing. We then went to Skyline down the street for some diner and hoped the rain had stopped. It didnt. We asked the GR if they had the knew about what time the rides would reopen and they said about 2.5 hours so we left the park. Its said they won't run the rides in a little bit of rain.
  19. I will be heading to the park Friday. Not sure what time yet prob. get there at about 4:00 or 3:OO
  20. So is the entire line inside or just the ending portion of it?
  21. Hopefully people keep thier hands off and dont valdenize it with spit gum graffeti or whatever else they may have in mind.
  22. The splash might be simulated but its still pretty cool!
  23. I only have about 10-15 rides. I don't keep count. I have only been to the park twice so far and rode alot of the other rides as Flight of Fear is still the icing for me.
