I am not sure how I am not a desginer. Trust me it won't hurt my opionon of the ride. Just a little over 2 days and many of us will be at the park. Its amazing at how fast this off season truely did go. It was slow at the time but no come to think of it Halloween Haunt seems like yesterday.

^ I know that I was just pulling everyone's leg! Is anyone else dissapointed with the line? I was wishing the line be more interactive with the ride.

Maybe its broken and no one will be able to ride it until next week! Hopefully it gets its kinks and hiccups in now and it will be running strong opening day!

I might. I built it back in 2003 so I am not sure if I do or not. I will take a look.

Just about time to get teh first ride in on Diamondback in just a few days. I can't wait.

I made a semi working model. I had about a 20 foot tall pvc pipe and dug it in the ground. After that I had a test car make of knex. I never did get the car 100% right. I put strips of sand paper for the fins. I had a small motor on the top that had magentic on it. Once the car made it to the top I had another motor a switched on manually. This sent out the retractable fins out with sand paper on it. This is what funtioned after the breaks. After that I turned the motor on just a tad to push it up against the top. The magentics went up higher than the car could so it dropped into the sand paper breaks. It worked pretty could but I couldn't figure out the car so I destoryed it. Hope this helps.

I was there opening week @ Cedar Point last year I think 2 of the 4 days I was there it was cold and rainy and the other 2 were bright warm and sunny.

Packed or not I will be there to get my Diamondback ride in and hopefully a few others. As long as it isnt a Knevil day I do not mind.

What if they did come back the next day? I think this years opening day will be different. There has been serveral times I visit a park on back to back days.

If you are 6 foot 6 you arent as tall as the come. I seen 8 foot people before.

Or maybe they didnt have enought money to replace it?

Im not doubting the fact it was open for 30 years I am doubting the fact that is was thrilling.

This economy is just plain crappy right now. I think the US and the rest of the world are in for a ride. The US has just high living standards and things just kept going up and people kept expecting and wanting more for less and buying things they can't afford. Its mostly the banks fault by giving someone a $300,000 dollar loan that makes 20k a year. Great idea!

The zoom flume thrilling people over 30 years? I doubt it. I had to push my-self down the slide to make it into the spash pool. I hardly find that thrilling.

So if your as tall as they get chances are you can't fit on anything with an over the shoulder harness. Opps talking about fitting on a ride is park policy.

Actually you can see plenty in the tunnel. YOu can see the car in front of you or the track. The exit sign the light at the end of the tunnel.

Last I cheked if you are too fat and the restraint won't close you can't ride is park policy. Oh wait it must be just the Diamondback restraint policy! I am so sorry about the confusion.

HMMM are you recommending that we go to youtube and look at point of views that are clearly taking without park's permission which is a mistaminor? I don't think we should be supporting that kind of thing here.

I am someone of a weather junkie and love when strong thunderstorms come around. With themeparks starting to open up again so does tornado season. I plan on spending lots of time at the park this summer just like ones in the past. So if there was a tornado at Kings Island what in the world would you guys do or where would you go?

Not to start a fight but aren't most of the post on this board about park policey?!
