  1. I dont think you read that post right.
  2. Last I cheked if you are too fat and the restraint won't close you can't ride is park policy. Oh wait it must be just the Diamondback restraint policy! I am so sorry about the confusion.
  3. HMMM are you recommending that we go to youtube and look at point of views that are clearly taking without park's permission which is a mistaminor? I don't think we should be supporting that kind of thing here.
  4. Isn't this topic about park policy?
  5. I am someone of a weather junkie and love when strong thunderstorms come around. With themeparks starting to open up again so does tornado season. I plan on spending lots of time at the park this summer just like ones in the past. So if there was a tornado at Kings Island what in the world would you guys do or where would you go?
  6. Not to start a fight but aren't most of the post on this board about park policey?!
  7. What the heck that post has nothing to with ticket sales or any of that.
  8. I am someone of a weather junkie and love when strong thunderstorms come around. With themeparks starting to open up again so does tornado season. I plan on spending lots of time at the park this summer just like ones in the past. Where in the world do you go when there is going to be a tornado while you are at the park? Are you aloud in storage areas or off the pathway to hide in a ditch in what normal would be a lock out zone? I am pretty sure most of the coasters are able to withstand alot of tornadoes since they are open aired structures. I was at Kings Island one time back around 1996 when the sky turned a greenish color and soon after a very dark black with some rotating clouds. There was hail and I saw the Effiel tower get struck by lighting. They told everyone to seek shelter immdetly but where excatly is that at Kings Island???!?!? There are lots of people outside and with no where to go could present a problem one day for the park. Where in the world do you go?!?!
  9. I actually can't fit on dropzone because I have a long upper body. My shoulders hit the restraint and the belt buckle can't lock into place. I can smash my self in the seat if I really wanted to but its too uncoftable. I can ride all the other rides just fine. Vortex and Flight deck are close fits though. I iwsh my body wasn't so long! I have no problem with rides with lapbars.
  10. I play paintball and were are currently in a tourny at Red Dragon out on the east side of town. That shot with the exploding paint it freaking sweet. I am more of woodsball player though.
  11. I think i am on the bigger side of things but I am slowly trying to change that. I am 6 foot 2 and 230 pounds. That dang winter weight! Last year I was about the same though and I fit on all the rides at Kings Island and Cedar Point with no problem. I have about 3 inchs or so on the safety belt on MF.
  12. ERT for Diamondback. I will be there bright and early.
  13. Beacause a hyper can do just about everything a giga can. If you build a giga coaster you can't clain it as the tallest or fastest so whats the point when you can build a hyper that takes up less room and cost less to build and will deliver the same if not more thrills.
  14. IM going to enter but I doubt I will win. I never win anything.
  15. NIce trip report did you get to ride the rides multiple times? I really want to make it to Busch Gardens some day.
  16. They have two locks on them. No need to worry. Chances are if you harness does come open and you hold on and dont do anything stupid you will stay in the ride anyway.
  17. I don't like the sign. I wish they would have done something else.
  18. I won an Ipod in some win thing with the level in it and you have to stop it at the top. I have won at the one in KI and Kalhari. I also like to win the big prizes at the basketball 3-point game. They are so easy to make. The peach basket game is pretty easy too. Just hit the top of therim.
  19. Ill be there to get at lteast one Diamondback ride in. After that who knows. I am going to try and make it the Saturday after also. Hopefully Ill be able to get the park lots more times this year with gas prices so low. Last year it was hard getting there @ $4.oo. My what a year can change.
  20. I watched the parade while I was at work but I couldn't go to the game. When is the last time the Reds won an opening day game.
  21. I like these two: August 2008: Margaret Farren, Seven Hills, Ohio, alleges that on Oct. 26 she tripped and fell as a result of Cedar Point's use of dry ice to create an "effect of smoke or fog." Farren said she suffered a right ankle sprain and torn ligaments. September 2008: Richard Foos, Avon, alleges on Sept. 22, 2007, when attending HalloWeekends at Cedar Point he tripped and fell as a result of a thick fog created by fog machines. Foos suffered compound fractures to his right and left arm, and shoulder, back, head and wrist pain as a result of the fall. Foos said Cedar Point was negligent because it did not properly monitor the output of fog.
  22. I was born April 23, 1987. The year of The Vortex!
  23. I don't think Kings Island will see any new rides in 2010. We are getting a hyper coaster this year so it might be a few years before something major is added.
  24. I like to meet up under the tower or the middle post by the entrance gate. They seem to be the easiest places to find.
