If the show did come it would be on a Thursday. The final episode for this edition is in like 2 and a half months which means PKI wold still be in the pre-season and the park would be closed at the time. And f it were for the fall editiojn, it would again be on a Thursday in the post-season.

I think they should bring back the Action Zone shows that they had at the water tower the first year the former Adventure Village became Action Zone, those shows were cool.
-
Thats one cool things about helicopters you can still land them inacase of an engine failure, however I believe the pilot must stll flip some switch to disconect the props from the engine or something like that.
-
The first few items on the Gold pass benefits on the website are actually for 2003, but as you go further down the list it says 2002, maybe they just havent fully updated it yet.
-
Actually the park has alreayd releases the gold pass perks which is available on the Official Kings Island website. 2003 Gold Pass Benifits

Flight of Fears transfer track is located to the left of the final brake run.
-
FoF has a full sized side track that can hold 3 trains, (4 counting the actual transfer track), but you cant run with a train on the actual transfer track, because it would be an incomplete circuit.
-
Yeah its one of the ways. If someone is at Dual Launch (Dispatch) and launches the train its possible to get from there to the unload station before the train arrives without crossing trains or going up the exit.
-
Sends dont usually know about the short cuts on rides, because they're not there everyday, whereas someone from the crew would know, i knew about the path from being told about it a couple years ago (as well as the R.O.C. grillout in the train engine house), and finally used it when i got sent there last year.
-
That exit way walk is long, sure glad thats one ride employees dont have to go down the exit to get to, it would take to long. Although most sends go that way becasue they dont know the employee shortcut which only takes about a minute and a half to get to from rivertown.

Yeah I'm as tall as Tom, and I can ride FOF just fine, I also have to cross me feet on SOB. Working it for a while you learn the best ways to get in and which seats are best. Just like on FOF all the seats aren't the same due to the steel plates located on the front row of each car (left side), therefor its hard for me to ride in the front row, because it takes up a lot of leg room, so i just ride in a back row.

Which Beast is better, Son of Beast or Beast and W
FOF replied to PKICoasterFreek's topic in KI Polls
What about Beastie? Just kidding, although Beastie is a good ride. I think Beast is better than SOB because of the terrain and you cant really see whats coming up next. -
i believe even though with out Tower 1 being used on WWC, the minimum will still be 7 workers when you have all the boats out. (Controls, Tower 2, Tower 3, load, 2 at unload, and the queue person.) and i believe youcan get rid of an unload person if you have less boats out.

They were talking about making us wear our badges in 2001, becasue some people on my crew actually wore them the first day, but than they said we didn't have to.
-
Thats true ship6637 if the person worked in the Paramount orginization, but if I recall correctly Jeff Siebert previously worked at a non Paramount owned park, in which case if it were Siebert would not market those older rides
-
E-stops dont stop anything faster, in the case of WWC it still takes the time of a normal water cycle, on a rollercoaster it still needs to reach the brake run. And Dane, "theotherD" cant answer you question as to why, nor can anybody, thats in operational issue. And Tom, when did they remove tower 1? I know there are monitors at tower 2, but I'm pretty sure tower 1 was used all of the 2002 season.
-
Now that is funny, I remember you talking about that.
-
PKIguy14, A driver of a ride is the person on control of the ride at the main panel.
-
Trust me the water is properly treated. There is a certain level of cleanliness the water has to be above in order to operate.
-
We do the same thing is Rides, double lining, however you get some situations where that just isn't enough and you still get trash juice on you. For the can by Flight of Fear greeter on weekends we would put like 6 liners in it, becaseu we would have to pull it half way through the day because it got used so much.
-
True it doesnt use gates to create actual blocks like on a roller coaster (i think PLC ontrolled blocking is impossible on a rapids ride), but it does have gates at Tower 2 to stop the boats at that point if needed, or to sycronize the boats.
-
Actually if you read between the lines he/she did say they worked at PKI for 12 years. If they marketed Adventure Express, that means they would've had to been in the park since the early 1990's.
-
Technically Jeff Siebert isn't in the marketing department. He works in the Public Relation Department, as a Midia relations Manager.
-
Comeon Dank, you should be able to figure out who "looping brakes" is by his signature, although it took me a minute to figure out a while back, since he said he was on my 2000 crew(which he was), but i was thinking there was noone left from 2000. Should I tell you who it is???. sure, its Pansing
-
I doubt this person is this saturdays guest, but you never know. This person says they've worked in the park in marketing for 12 years now. Remember Mr. Siebert would've been 18 than , he will turn 31 at the beginning of this season.(Jeff Sieber was born on the day the park opened to the public). Also if memory serves me correctly Mr. Siebert worked at another park prior to PKI.
