I'll take that as you being sarcastic about the lights. I dont know why they had lights on in the tunnel, but the times i've ridden it there have only been lights on a couple times in teh concrete tunnel, although i have no idea why there was, guess someone may have forogt to turn them off or something.

PKI UPDATE?

One other little tidbit of useless information while we are on the topic of centripetal, and centrifical force. On a perfectly round vertical loop (360 degrees, and not tear drop shaped like most loops are) you are 6 G's its proven through physics.
3. i still dont know where they got that idea barnyard, guess it was people jumping to conclusions.

No problem, I'll ask one of the guys from Wood Coaster Maintance when the season starts. Even though we all know its 65 M.P.H.
5. That would be it.

PKI UPDATE?

I suppose they could do that. If anyone is wondering about the so called "break and drop" flooring on Delirium this pic shows it. Break and Drop
7. Yeah if thats what your refering to its Steel Coaster Maintance, the building is actually green, but has a white roof.
8. Exactly, Barnyard never said anything about a free ride, he may just give them a "treat" which to me means candy.

Yeah each car had 4 rows, but also each train only had 5 cars (40 seats) as opposed to now with 3 rows per car and 6 cars per train (36 seats). I believe that is why If you look at the loading stalls there are 4 gates in a row at the front. Also if you are in line for the middle, you notice the arrows redirecting you at an angle after the gates open.

PKI UPDATE?

I'm trying to imagin how they would have a net on Delirium, becae they cant have one thats high up because they gondola would hit it. I guess they would have to build on at an angle over teh walkway and coneect it to a building close by.

Best ride i ever had on Beast was probably aorund 1:00 A.M. during ride nights. It was super dark, and the 2nd tunnel was super dark.
13. I imed St X bomber before, an he already knows some people on Flight of Fear, whichh will help alot. That way your not alone on the first few days, and that way that person can inturduce you to the other returners and such. And Tom my screename is FoF, with a little o not a capital.
14. Thats if Barnyayrd is still at Skyflyer by than, or maybe even next week. (Barnyard is a human pinball basically.)
15. Its cool looking at older pics of the park, like the games building when it was 2 seperate buildings with the "alley" between tem which is now connected. And the final bunnyhop on Racer which has been removed which would have been to the left of the Flight of Fear entrance is now the brake run. There is some website with some pics from back in the 80's if anyones interested I'll post the site later.
16. Considering that its an "unofficial" day, probably nothing special. This would be where you would meet other PKIunlimtied people in the pak, and do what you want.
17. SOB_TOM lives in Fort Thomas Kentucky. From what i understand even if you apply online you will still need to fill out another application at the park so they actualy have one they know you filled out.
18. Last year during Coasterbuzzcon 1, the attendees had nametags with their screennames on it.
19. My favorite rides at PKI are: Flight of Fear, and The Smurfs Enchated Voyage.
20. Coasterguy107, the alarms being talked about are the warning sirens that sounds for each coaster/ major attraction before the ride is ran in the morning. If you ever get to the park around 9:45 listen for all the sirens, they are used to "warn" people that may still be in restricted places for whatever reason so they can move. Flight of Fears siren is the best.
21. Its listed at 78 Miles per hour, but I'm sure it has gone faster than that.
22. Even without stacking the trains I doubt it would make to much of a difference anyways maybe about an extra 72 people per hour if that much. Its not the crew that makes it goes slow, sometimes guest are slow getting off/ on, or left something in the train and have to look for it, or people not riding trying to wait in the unload side of the station. It all adds up, and a few seconds here and there make a big difference. Some times when i was working SOB that would be the case and we would have a train sitting on the brake run while were still loading the train, although i gess you can also see that as we got the last train out real quick. (Although 90 percent of the time we could usually get the train dispatched as the other one was clearing block brakes on a typical cycle). As "Coasterguy107" said 2 trains is definetly effecient.
23. Those would be the correct blocks, so with that being said SOB can handle 3 trains, but as i stated before its pointless because it wont increase capacity any because you would have a train in the block brakes , and final while your waiting to load the other train in the station.
24. SOB has 4 blocks actually, the resaon for not running three trains is because it would just set up constetnly and would be pointless. A 3rd train does exist.
25. It would have to be at approximatly 9:00 P.M. Eastern time.
