  1. I know the question wasn't directed to me, but in the instance of Beast/Scooters and other multi-ride crews the answer is no. Probably just not around when theey switch.
  2. Technically Kings Mills Run is still there (Wild Thornberries River Adventure), and "that other ride with boats" was Kentons Cove Keelboat Canal.

    Weight limit

    Its 200 LBs or less
  4. Because thats what the park named it. From what i can tell from pictures and video the ride consisted of several big kegs that sat a few people, hand went around a turntable weaving in and out of each other.

  6. Went in 2002, park was in good shape, but most the Operators looked like they didn't care about their job, but i guess that kinda comes with a carnival company running the park, but overall i had a good time, got 25+ rides in on Screechin' Eagle.
  7. A Nebraska amusement park company (peony Park) is interested in the purchase ands reopening of Lesordsville Lake. While the possible buyer has not yet seen the park he will be traveling here soon to look at it, and will talk to Couch.
  8. Most major rides have an automatic counter, example each time Beast dispatches a train it counts 36 riders, the operator than pushes a button to subtract empty seats. On smaller rides they either have a turnstile or its up to the operator using a clicker and counting cycles.
  9. I believe Jabber Jaws Tubs is what is now called Boo- Boos baggage claim, but don't hold me to that.
  10. I remember that ride too, however i don't remember the name of it, it consisted of tanks, and you would shoot balls at each other i believe.
  11. I believe that was the same exact slide that was once in Coney Mall, (Where Zephyr is now), that was before my time though, but i've seen pictures of it, it was Red White, and Blue when it was in coney, and when it was in HB (where Reptar is) I believe it was Yellow, green, and red.
  12. Out of the major rides in the park I would have to say King Cobra, or KCKC. There were many rides in HB that are no longer there that i liked growing up such as Sunshine Turnpike, Flinstones Flyers, Smurfs voyage, and Scrappys Slides.
  13. It will probably be the same as it was last year.

    One Ride

    Flight of Fear baby!
  15. What would you like to see over the offseason? I'd like to see everything get a new paint job!
  16. If PKI takes out a coaster in the next few years, which one do you think they will take out? I'm going to have to go with Vortex on this one. It's still a great coaster, but the land that it sits on is great real estate for a new coaster. I don't think that it will go soon though because PKI has plenty of room to expand. But when the time comes for PKI to take out a coaster I think they will take out Vortex.
  17. Didn't PKI have a Lara Croft look alike walking around the park last year? I think I remembered one.
  18. Flight of Fear did open in June 1996. And also the copyright thing expired in 2000 a week before the season ended.
  19. The Current Dodgem ride may not of always been there, but there use to be a dodgems ride in the Green building next to Scrambler before that.
  20. I'm pretty sure Zephyr is still there.
  21. There use to be running water under The Beast (a pond) it did smell real bad due to guest throwing garbage in it and stopping up the filters and such.

    Blackouts

Yes they do thats the whole point of them. You dont roll back when the lift stops do you? The lift chain could snap and the train not move backwards (maybe a few inches untill the dogs caught the anti roll backs)
  23. There has always been brakes going down the lift drops when they were skid brakes, the only difference with the magnetic brakes are is it stops/ slows more quickly whereas the skid brakes were more gradual. Yes the park can keep The Beast forever, if they continue to maintain it like they do such as slowing the speed around turns/ drops so it doesnt tear up the structure. I actually think the train is going faster consistantly now after the brake shed than it did with skid brakes.
  24. As far as bringing a guest on the walkback, according to Jeff Siebert who occasionally walks the people back, you are allowed a guest.
