  1. GreenGhost2003, your probably thinking of Smurfs Enchanted Voyage which was where Scooby Doo and The Haunted Castle now is. Swanee Landing closed in teh late 70's
  2. It was called Swanee Landing, you rowed a canoe out onto an "island' which i believe was themed and such.
  3. I will be working on TR:TR this year, however I'm off tonight. I will be at the park though. Some people are planning on meeting at the Flying Eagles at 7:00 and riding. See you there.
  4. I know who you mean shaggy but i can't tink of his name, its that real old guy.
  5. Thats good in a way he didn't say a word or do anything, that means the ride is running good.
  6. He was a Huss guy he stayed in the booth the whole time.
  7. In the line where the Mistro use to be is Shaggy and Scooby doo which pop up occasially which goes over the proces of the "mystery flashlight" (Lazer gun). The chandolleres(sp?) are still there, and there is a book case next to the stairs leading up to the actual ride, which is suppsose to be the opening of a secret passageway. I hope it will be a little lighter in there when it opens, it was so dark you couldnt see where you were going, and I ran into the wall at the top of the steps. I had teenageninja standing right next to me and couldnt see him.
  8. I liked scooby, I rode it 5 times. The people from Sally Corp (Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle themeing company) was there too. Heres some useless information about Scooby and the Haunted castle- There are 101 Targets, 104 Animated Props, throughout the 18 scences.
  9. I think the food was good, there was pork and chicken, with salad and vegitables. Also there was desserts which consited of a Delirium cake, and pudding with oreo crumbs with gummy worms going through it so it looked liek worms digging through dirt.

Now Tom there is no reason to be bashing on Putz, although he did bann you like 4 times.
  11. The reason they have more is for extras, just like last friday they had 100 people scheduled to come in, just in case.
  12. The only thing I've heard on the radio recently about PKI is the Coast to Coast on WEBN, where they take you to both PKI and PGA I think is the other one.
  13. I believe that Scooby will be running during the first part of the day (10-12), than the stunt and practice will take place from 12:30 to 1:30, than Delirium will be from 1:30 to 3.
  14. Yeah its for real, I got the same email from Russ Johnson. And it was origianlly from Sean Flarathy.
  15. I think the auction would've been more succesful if it was listed so when you search "Kings Island" on ebay it would come up, instead of it being under the adventure for kids profile page. The majority of the people that visit these kind of sites are pass holders anyways.
  16. True it might be a little too high for pass holders, but for non pass holders it would be a great deal, the 2 tickets are about a $86 value + the two passangers on scooby.
  17. http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/adventures..._for_wish_kids/ As Jeff Siebert mentioned earler PKI will be actioning off seats on Sooby Doo for April 12th. The proceeds will go to charity. Your bid is on 2 park admissions, and 2 seats on Scooby Doo.
  18. A lot of guest don't realize what the sirens mean, they think it means something bad, but they dont. Usually all the sirens the guest hear coem from the Action Zone area with it being Face/Off, and Drop Zone. I like Flight of Fear start up alram/ announcement. There are some T.V. commercials that have a similar siren part of it (but not the verbal), and it always reminds me of Flight of Fear.
  19. If anybody took time to ready the last line in the story it says its an april fools joke. Although when i saw the topic i knew it was a joke using common sense.
  20. Actually the brake fins were on the bottom of the train instead of being on the top like now adays. You just had it backwards.
  21. I already knew the document name so I wnet to google and typed it in and came across this page which includes the full text of the document. http://www.ftc.gov/ogc/coppa1.htm
  22. PKIguy14 asked: "This question may sound really dumb but then again i am just a dumb 11 year old" Don't you have to be 13 to post on the site? **edit**I just did a little research about the topic and according to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 Im correct.
