It would be interesting to see an inversion on a giga, but at the same time the research/design needed to keep the GForces at a reasonable limit during the loop that adds an xfactor to the cost, reliability, and maintenance required. I know the Invertigos 5 Gs cause greyouts for me at some point in the ride so it's avoided after more than 1 instance of it.

Bayern Kurve ride capacity is 900/hr on wiki but it doesn't state the source. Maybe it's telling ride capacity or ride time? Or is referring to scale like models?
-
Heck I was like AWESOME, I'm excited to see the movie now lol

When the petition link was asking me to give money or share (using my phone browser). It was scrolling names of people who shared and noticed a couple gave $5, refreshed the page and it did it again so screenshot the couple I caught.

So apparently ppl are paying to promote the petition as well. Little be questionable maybe? Kyle Kruthoffer is apparently working on a 50th Anniversary Kings Island movie.... https://ki50movie.com/ I

Hey Kings Island figured it out before Disney finished their dome lol

Are you referencing the Skyscraper in Orlando? I'd heard rumors of the project but no construction updates. https://amusementparkwarehouse.com/newsserver/worlds-largest-drop-tower-slingshot-to-debut-in-orlando-1562025600

Anytime I see "The End" the Doors pops in my head, so at least REM isn't playing lol
-
I signed in case there's some promo for the first 100 sign to ride. Never know/wishful thinking lol

OMG it's reminds me of the old linoleum floor in my parents house growing up, honestly though is that red and blue pixels like old 3D glasses or just my screen?
-
But it was meant to be in the space that is occupied by The Racers. https://www.visitkingsisland.com/blog/2017/may/the-second-coming

Just out of random thought: what if the posters are referring to locations within the park that has more teasers hidden? That would actually be a fun scavenger hunt.

Has anyone noticed in sequence the pictures are almost a rocket launch traveling beyond the milky way? Only one I can't explain is Zodiac doesn't fit the sequence.
-
I can't get a clear image, does anyone know what the inset picture in the bottom left corner of Skylap is?
-
Okay it's a flying (Firehawk)-LIM(FoF)-Giga with 6 inversions(Vortex), top speeds of 75 mph (Bayern Kurve), 3G's (Rotor), and with a ride time of 180 seconds (Zodiac) Think Invertigo could refer to the train going back through the station?
-
An Frontier City in Oklahoma happens to still have a Rotor ride called Tumbleweed in operation, and just by chance also has a coaster called Diamondback

Since name hasn't come up in awhile, and KI seems to use current popularity to draw crowds. NASA's Orion is set for a 2020 moon orbit launch, maybe KI plans to the same name. Then add on the brain, body images on the posters?

Mine just hit 52 inches this year but Vortex is still her favorite. I spent 4 years of her standing with her dad at the exit when she was too short just to watch when I rode (we didn't take her till she hit height for Woodstock Express cause she's a thrill junkie). Or she would stand at the loops by the walk to wait and wave. We have a mark on her wall for Vortex height she was so eager to go. She still has the colored bracelet for 48inches in her memory box. If they announce Vortex closing expect to see a little girl riding until she's made it on every row of the train.

The only part of the show we liked, including a 10 year old girl was Time Warp, but that's cause she knew the song. So yeah I'd say scoot to Barnyard. We only hit up the wax museum opening night the kid was laughing all the way through when she wasn't getting startled so A+ to her. Spent the rest of the time riding coaster in the dark (novelty for a kid that hasn't done em at night). Scare zones were cool but Coney Maul seemed a bit too spread out IMO. Pumpkin Eater area she got startled enough to run at one point so that was hilarious cause she instantly started laughing at herself for running when she swore she'd "never run". Sat waiting on Blood Drums and creepers came out when were "soooo awesome!!!!" All in all hopefully I get another weekend off work we can go back. Side note: had some guest from a group come up while we were smoking asking to BUY a lighter in the smoking area, we offered to let him borrow but didn't want to do that, hmmm. I may be older but only remember refusing to light up with witnesses for one reason eons ago....

Me and my 10 year old hit the 8:30 Friday show. This is our first Haunt visit so can't comment on previous years but I loved it. I'd seen fire shows other times but this was one I'd sit and watch all night. We were in front so kid got a chance to participate which made her even more excited. Am I the only one holding my breath when he was fire breathing? Just knowing from watching 1000 Ways to Die what an inhale at the wrong second can do makes me appreciate it more.

Husband and I were talking about this earlier. KI has a good range of intro coaster styles for people so closing any could be a loss for someone. I've already told the 10 year old if it's one she's tall enough for we will take a weekend trip and ride back to back for all I care. 2 hour drive and a pass, I'm not out except gas money and normal food. Then there is the current Fast Lane Plus which removing one of those coasters would make the value fall.

As rough as Vortex is on me, I think I'd cry a bit to see it close, it's the first looping coaster I ever rode and now my 10 years olds first.

Honestly the only expectation is our 10yo have fun. She's asked for 3-4 years now to attend haunt, but we've waited until now. Previous Halloweens have been spent at the local extreme haunts and she's had fun so we've agreed to come opening weekend for her birthday. Staying at Great Wolf and have passes so really not spending extra to go to Haunt. She was asking if there are "air bags" and sliders because they are apparently cool even though she hasn't gotten to see either yet.

Will the Eiffel Tower lower platform ever be reopened? What type of generators do they use for emergency power? How often do the the springs on Slingshot have to be replaced? What is the slowest speed Vortex can go in theory and complete it's circut?
