Cedar Fair working with Intamin again confirmed! They just bought new drive tires from them! That means we are getting an Intamin Blitz in 2023! LOL!

I know... that is why I am confused. We should sue Dorney Park for false marketing! LOL!

Did you see what Dorney Park said in response to this? Are they throwing shade at Kings Island for barely having a giga? LOL!

I am okay with Adventure Express only running two trains, but I would get kind of annoyed waiting in an hour long line for Flight of Fear when there is another train permanently residing in a maintenance building across from the ride. I am just worried about next year when its ridership is even higher because everyone will want to ride it while they are in X-Base. The lines are already too long on dead days, and I can only imagine waiting in that line with the whole park and particularly that area being packed. Since the park obviously knows that Flight of Fear’s line will get long next season and because it only puts through 600 rider per hour, do you think the park will add the third train back on next season? It could almost double the ride’s capacity, and the Flight of Fear teaser poster even hints at this where it says *1,200/HR. It also looks like they are doing some modifications to Flight of Fear with an expanded queue line and new lockers, so I see adding an extra train as a possibility to help deal with the crowds. The fact that they are making the queue line longer just shows that they are already thinking about Flight of Fear’s future crowds. I could also see the park adding a third train to Flight of Fear for only a season or two to get it over the heavy crowds of the new ride. After this, they will probably return to two train operations and switch out one train each year.

Honestly, since the park is putting a giga right next to Flight of Fear, they should add some more trains on if they can because the lines are going to be super long and slow moving. They are already! LOL!

I never knew this... maybe that is why it says *1,200 r/h on Flight of Fear’s poster because right now iFlight of Fear puts through 600 riders per hour with two trains, and it may have been originally planned for it to put through 1,200 riders per hour with three trains.

I think that Viking Fury is closed right now to undergo major renovations. The park is going to enhance the ride by adding a couple hundred feet in height and make it a lot faster. It will be called Viking Fury 325, the tallest and fastest pirate ship ride in the world! It will cast a shadow over the lil’ giga!

I think this is a ride at Kennywood. The logo looks similar too. Here is a picture...

I hope there is an entrance sign similar to Banshee’s or Fury 325’s next to the ride’s entrance. They could also put some theming in the old Firehawk photo booth where the riders are going to enter. With a stunning ride entrance, you feel more immersed into the experience, similar to walking up to Mystic Timbers and seeing the truck and hearing the audio.

I have a compromise, we could melt all of the Vekoma Boomerangs in the chain as well as the SLC’s and Nighthawk!

We could melt Top Thrill Dragster to do it!

I feel like Flight of Fear has the weirdest entrance in the park. There is no ride I.D. sign and you enter to the left of where you would think to enter.

I am honestly expecting a new Flight of Fear entrance sign because it looks as if you will enter from, well, Firehawk’s queue. Also, is there even a Flight of Fear entrance sign now?

My guess is nothing more than 200 feet. I don’t see Kings Island building another giga or something taller anytime soon, and even with only a 150 foot height, an RMC T-Rex would probably still be the best in the park. No matter what you give RMC to work with, the ride will be amazing!

With three trains, the capacity will definitely be around 1,600 riders per hour. Leviathan and Fury 325 don’t have mid-course brake runs and still have similar capacity.

I have seen that too, and I hope it is able to open up again sometime soon!

If this only has the capacity of 1,200 riders per hour, we will probably only have two trains. Cedar Fair gives the parks they consider smaller less than three trains, so I hope this is false!

Six Flags would give us a Larson Loop, a Free Spin, and not allow employees to run more than one or two trains. Honestly, the whole Kings Island fan base would take a hit because we would always know that we were getting a cheap cookie cutter ride and that it would not be open until halfway into the season!

The real question is... would Mystic Timbers be better if it were an Intamin Blitz?
