  1. I've not had a chance to read through all the comments on the petition, going to shortly. From what I've seen on here. Is KI hinting at a theming tie in with Mystic, The Beast, SoB and possible Banshee coming next. That would be something paranormal (cryptozoological) in the 70s (The Beast : Mining Company), the 80s (Mystic Timbers : Miami River Lymber Co.), the 90s (FoF : "Hanger 18 incident"), 00s (SoB : Outpost 5), and 10s (Banshee : Well it's a Banshee) I've seen mention of all those themes except for Banshee which wouldn't be to hard to tie in. Just a thought
  2. I was referring to just the two stratas. I am aware they have other hydraulic launch coasters that work. I can only make an educated guess that the issue with that launch system is due to the height of the rides. Which is why only 2 were ever built.
  3. Could you imagine a 400 or 500 foot single rail coaster.
  4. Not trying to initiate a debate on what manufacturer is better but, Intamin is the only company to build a strata. Neither of which has been the most reliable. I think they realized there issues with TTD and Ka and haven't even tried to build any more of that model. Unless they completely rethink the 400+ foot approach, or another company does, I dont see many more stratas anywhere. Just my opinion though.
  5. To paraphrase one of our greatest presidents...Mr Showalter, TEAR DOWN THAT WALL!!! I mean, name might be wrong but I'm sure that's what he meant.
  6. Not that I have a lot of followers but shared the link on twitter
  7. Ok, petition signed...Your move Kings Island! Side note, please let this announcement be on a Friday or Tuesday so I dont have to call off work... lol
  8. If someone is able to swing by today with a QR scanner app, it would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, I'm not going to make it down till Friday (adulting sucks... lol) and not sure I can wait till then to see if my thought is correct. Hahaha Thank you p0rtal Guy. Didnt get this typed fast enough.
  9. Not the greatest pic but is that a QR code in the hashtag
  10. Rcdb is your friend. Lol
  11. Cool. This makes sense. Guess I was just looking at three promotional video aspect. Lol
  12. Our general consensus at work was this cat definately could benefit from a cardiologist. I saw someone found another company but if this is the correct company, could they have signed a contract for Project X before they decided to stop doing promotional videos and this could be thier last???
  13. I've been saying this for a while. Got told I was a moron basically that these are nothing more than mistakes. I have serious reservations that every single poster was in need of correction. My thought is this. The first two posters were intentionally obvious that they were changed. IMO one of 3 things is going on. 1. They built these "mistakes" into the teasers for a legit reason and they aren't mistakes at all. 2. They found a typo or 2 on them when and thought that this could be something they could use to screw with people as quickly as people were noticing the mistakes. 3. The put intentional typos and subsequent corrections on these just to mess with everyone and there is zero meaning. Guess we'll see.
  14. Sorry for the double post but just found this too. It's from azcentral.com The mission, led by the University of Arizona, sent an unmanned spacecraft to Mars. The craft landed May 25, 2008, in the northern region. The stationary craft was the first to confirm the long-held theory that water, in the form of ice, exists on Mars. The Phoenix Mars Mission also found nutrients in the soil that are necessary to support life, including minerals such as sodium, magnesium and chloride as well as a salt called perchlorate. Microbes on Earth use perchlorate as an energy source. Cameras aboard the lander also captured more than 25,000 pictures, showing jagged rocks scattered over a rust-colored landscape.
  15. Just throwing this out there. Wild hair made do a quick search. The AZ on the Firehawk poster made look at Phoenix. Did a space related search and ASU is home to the Mars Space Flight Facility mars.asu.edu. Also, AZ is home to 17 International Dark Sky Communities. NASA also trained crews to work on the lunar surface east of Flagstaff. Not much but could definately hint at thememing. Still working on the others. I mean I feel FoF is obvious with NM and Roswell. Lol. But I'll share what I find if anything.
  16. I'd be happy with a track reprofile. Rode it Tuesday and now know what temporary paralysis feels like
  17. Maybe it's not changed yet. Maybe the tape is going ti be removed at some point. Don't know just spitballing here
  18. Regarding the layout. I agree that things look like the electrical print layout. But as suggested, things may not be what they seem. Not saying that the whole ride is going to change. Maybe subtle differences once we see everything. We're not sure if maybe B&M found a way to change how they've done supports in the past to reduce stress, etc, etc. Then again, maybe this whole thing has been one giant conspiracy and Alan Schilke is sitting on the grassy knoll with a ground up RMC. There's your record guys. Most expensive teaser campaign ever. Lol But seriously, I'm not completely sure what to think anymore. Last week...the layout was concrete and that's what we were getting, a "mediocre" giga. Now, with the teaser changing, not 100% on anything anymore. Maybe there's going to be changes to what we think we knew, maybe not. At this point, time will tell
  19. I don't think anyone is saying that they changed the ride on Monday and now are throwing out new plans. It was suggested that maybe the partial plans were left partial intentionally and something is going to be in the complete plans that we haven't seen in any previous leaks. Again, I think this is highly unlikely as well but at this point can we really not say it's plausible. Until complete blueprints are submitted, reviewed and approved, anything is plausible. Just highly unlikely. Absoluetly this ride had been in a finished design state for a long while. It's just that we are not 100% concrete on what that state is until complete plans are revealed. Or an offical announcement. Just my onion of course
  20. Even at that, at this point I'm not discounting anything as concrete merely because it seems logical. Like I said, highly skeptical, just not completely ruling anything out anymore. Lol
  21. First, sorry for the double post. They need 5 more letters, that would be Tuesday, the 30th. "Tomorrow" would be the 31st. If I looked at the calendar correctly. Lol
  22. At this point, I'd say anything is possible. I mean all we've seen really are partial footer plans and electrical plans. Haven't really seen the ride. Maybe they were using the plans that got leaked to throw everyone off. I still am honestly very skeptical but stranger things have happened in the construction of coasters. The Beast was supposed to be similar to shooting star after all... lol
  23. This is what I'm thinking. Announcement on the 31st...or atleast when the announce when the official announcement will be maybe?
  24. So we've made it to New Mexico. Lol and Now a T.
  25. So after yesterday's "Kurve"ball. Who else is thinking Enchanted Voyage???
