  1. He mis-read one of your posts. If you read all of his, he says that.
  2. I know it is not there. I was just pointing it out. I also checked to see if they were, as you say, counting their chickens a little early by including any other new rides. Avatar is the only new ride they mentioned.
  3. Yet, you just added your 2 cents in like everyone else, making this post become even longer....if you don't like it, no one said you had to read it.
  4. Its a production model, not really "one of a kind" but to the park, very unique compared to others there. Sorry, what I meant was one of its kind in the park. IJST shoots off, but is no way like FOF.
  5. Why when you go to that site, does it say that we have the Avatar and it is under construction? Here is the link. EDIT: HAHAHAHA, it says it opened up in 2006. Just find it funny since it is in the future and it considers it being here today.
  6. As far as I know, just SOB and Scrambler. But I could be wrong. I get my info from my good park friends
  7. You do realize that there is more to PKI then just the campground, right? AND if you must have a campground, there is one just 10 min from the park called Morgan's Campground and Canoe Rentals. Why are people like this b/c there is not campground and why are they too lazy or too stubborn to find another campground? Makes no sense to me!!
  8. Fearfest is only Friday Nights and Saturday Nights though. The park is open normal hours Sat (plus fearfest hours) and Sun.
  9. Prob one of those huge monkeys that you win from the games.
  10. Exactly what I was talking about in my prev post. I also found personals that only girls would use and yes, it was used. Can we say YUCK!!!!! (If you were eating and you just read this, I am soo sorry )
  11. Is it me or has this post (and some other forums) gone down hill?
  12. Since I dont remember the park before Paramount bought it, I cannot compare the two. However, PKI does keep the park clean and that is one of their main goal each year. Infact, they take pride and honor in having their park very clean. Like Combat said, they bring in big water trucks and hose down every inch of the park and the parking lot. You can complain as much you want about how a ride is dirty, but that is normally at the end of the day when the park is dirty. Each morning, every manger that is in that day goes to every ride to inspect it to make sure it is clean.
  13. I agree. Plus, there is more money if its under a giant corporation.
  14. That was me in the bathroom. Sorry
  15. I know this topic was started back in July, but why bring it back up after I already posted an update yesterday????
  16. Just b/c I love it, work at FOF. It's inside, so you get some AC. Plus still has great theme and its the only coaster that still shoots you off from 0-60 mph in 4 seconds that the park owns. It's one of its kind
  17. I was not being serious when I said that I am supprised no one even though about asking if someone was injured. I know how the park runs especially if someone did get hurt. As it was mentioned before, they are just doing some work to it to make it a better ride.
  18. Lets just say I found a lot of "Unmentionables" while working at FOF. And to gross some of you out, some of them were even used (If you worked w/ me, you know exactly what I am talking about).
  19. They won't would be my guess. It's all still own by Paramount. Just a different branch now. I think Viacom is what actually split and they are owned by Paramount I think, it could be the other way around.
  20. ::Throws Dictionary at FOF/Z 4-ever:: OWW!!! ::Rubbing back of head:: What was that for?
  21. Thanks. Being board at work and surfing the web helps, lol.
  22. No problem, lol
  23. Because there have been several posts about this in the past about Viacom dividing into two companies. Now, all Paramount Parks are part of CBS. Truthfully, it doesn't affect the operations of PKI except it will have a new corporate ownership. This was just an update. EDIT: OOPS, Legend Rider and I both at the same time, lol.
  24. Welcome. If you do a google or yahoo search, you can normally find a lot of informatoin. However, if you follow the following link, you can find a lot of information about Ohio, it's hauntings, and other neat things. Also, PKI is noted on this site as well. Forgotten Ohio
  25. Okay, I know this was posted before, but there were new updates from the Enquirer today. Looks like they are just doing the split for the shares, but we will see what will happen in due time. By Paulette Chu The Associated Press NEW YORK – Shareholders of Viacom Inc. will get half a share of the new Viacom and half a share of CBS Corp. for each share they currently hold when the media conglomerate splits itself into two companies, the company said today. Viacom detailed terms of its plan to split itself into two public companies in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission but didn’t give a specific date for when it expects to finish the break-up. New York-based Viacom plans to group its cable and entertainment businesses under the Viacom name and put its broadcasting units under the CBS name. The new Viacom will include the company’s cable and entertainment brands, including MTV Networks, BET and Paramount Pictures, while the new CBS Corp. will include CBS television, UPN and Viacom’s theme park division. Kings Island in Mason is one of the division’s properties. After the split, Viacom shares will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbols “VIA†and “VIA.B,†and CBS shares will trade under “CBS.A†and “CBS.†Viacom first disclosed it was considering breaking up the company in March amid frustration with its languishing stock price. The stock traded as high as $75.88 in July 2000, but has generally struggled since. Les Moonves, the current head of CBS and co-president of Viacom, will head CBS, and Tom Freston, the longtime chief of MTV and Viacom’s other co-president, will lead the new Viacom. Viacom has said it hopes that the MTV-based unit will attract investors seeking fast-growing businesses, while those seeking dividends and more aggressive share buybacks will buy shares in the new CBS Corp., whose businesses are slower-growing but still generate a lot of cash. The split also resolves the issue of who will succeed Viacom Chief Executive Sumner Redstone, who turned 82 this year. Freston and Moonves had been seen as competing for the top spot. Shares of the company rose 21 cents to $33.01 in morning trading on the New York Stock Exchange. Link to news article.
