Well I have to go with Headless Hollow because the concept sounds pretty awesome.
-
This is a hard decision. Go for the new or stick with a classic.

Thank you for the invite.

^ ^ ^ You make the calls. Maybe I should get a trademark

Think if they built The Beast Slayer near SOB and made it interwind with SOB's track. Kinda like the two were fighting. Steel vs. Wood

$50 Mil.... Ouch thats a lotta letuce. How about a Steel Giga or a B&M Floorless MultiInventer. Afterall both PC and PGA have B&Ms. I would love to see something Steel that is themed as The Beast Slayer or The Beast Tamer. Something to tie in The Beast Tradition.

Fearfest Attractions Released
RailRider replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
Should be interesting to see how everything works out, especially the whole train issue. -
Thats a lot of dirt, plus the sheer cost of making snow, since we are not a region that has snow all during the winter months. Although in Japan and Indonesia they have indoor ski resorts. I kid you not. This might be a more possible route.

^ ^ ^ That makes sense then. I hope they get the capacity worked out good and we dont have another Torture Tower on our hands.
-
I hope they dont run the train with all the cars, because if they do, that will be some major capacity issues trying to get that many peopel through a maze before the next train load shows up or breaks down. Kinda intresting, but also going to take a lot of work to pull off.

would it be possible to do this
RailRider replied to Thrillsareparamount's topic in Coming Attractions
Absolutely horrible idea. One of the reassons I like Paramount parks is because they are not Six Flags. #100 -
I hope this is the best FearFest yet, but after it kinda fell off last year, I am going to say that Year 1 FearFest will still be the best. Hope they prove me wrong.
-
I dont think the lines have been as big as they were for Torture Tower the first year of FearFest. Other than that, if you can go a couple times you will make it through everything more than once.

Could Cedar Fair Buy some Six Flags?
RailRider replied to The-Snapper's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
^ ^ ^ Agree 100%. After all the Six Flags title only makes sense for the parks in Texas. It has nothing to do with the other parks. Kinda like naming Knotts Berry Farm, Cedar Point's Knotts Berry Farm. Just doesnt make sense. -
Like I said earlier, ThunderHead is the best woodie out there and I would say Raven is next. Dealing with Wood coasters, everyone complains how rough SOB is, go ride The Texas Giant and then we can have a discussion about rough Wooden coasters.

Photo Gallery Orginization
RailRider replied to BoddaH1994's topic in KICentral Footnotes & Small News
I love the gallery now. Much better and nicely organized. I especially enjoy the photos of special events, I would love to see some photos of FearFest's first year and Old WinterFest Pics. -
Lightning Racer at Hersheypark is beter than the Legend.

Could Cedar Fair Buy some Six Flags?
RailRider replied to The-Snapper's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Why would CP want to buy more crappy Six Flags parks. Geuga Lake was special, because it hadnt been ruined yet by Six Flags. Other than that, Six Flags parks are for the most part half assed. That is they are poorly staffed, poorly maintained, and very ugly on the eye. CP would be much better off to continously improve the parks they have and look for parks that are growing, but need guidance, i.e. Geuga Lake. -
^ ^ ^ ThunderHead is absolutely amazing. I was amazed that it was beter than Raven and Beast. Very amazing park. I love Dollywood

Fearfest Attractions Released

I will say I like how they are going to do Rivertown with an entire theme. Lets just hope they dont have just a good idea, but they follow through with it. -
Fearfest Attractions Released
RailRider replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
In all reality we are not getting much more than some renaming of attractions, some good old attractions, and a Fright Zone. Uhhhh I hope they do more than what it looks like so far. I want it to be as good as year one or better, because nothing has been as good yet. -
I hope to god that the train is not used for a major FearFest attratction, but instead is only used for the Nick or Treat aspect of things. Think about how little interaction you would have with the frights if you were on the train and had to go by actors and props. Ohhhh real scary. Also if they are going to pretend that the train breaks down and then we have to walk out, can you imagine how long the lines will be to get on the train and then to go through the haunt. Ok the train has broken down, will everyone please wait in line to walk back to the station. Just doesnt make a lot of sense. Im counting on the que for WWC to be used. Perfect setting for a haunt.

Looks like the first years FearFest, because of the ET lighting and also how Int St is decorated. Just my guess
