  1. How about the kids in line that swing from que to que and their parents dont say a thing to them. Yeah destroy the ques and anything else in the park you want. Why do you think admissions go up almost every year, because of inconsiderate a$$holes that run wild in parks and the parents that havent taught their kids any manners or respect for anything. Also on the short list People and their basketballs Smoking in line Not throwing your garbage away, but leaving it on the table Profanity every other word (Look how cool I am) Wife Beater T-Shirts and pants that are around your ankles I feel old and bitter, but I still love PKI

    2006 Rumors

The Adams Family Coaster is a great idea, but i doubt we see back to back family coasters. Therefore 2006 will be an expansion of Nick Central and I am looking for a Super Saturator to go in. That would be the perfect ride to anchor a Nick expansion, plus they offer great thrills for both riders and watchers at a low cost. I look for 2007 to be either a new thrilling Huss Giant Ride (Jump2) or a new non-family coaster. Beast Slayer 07
  3. Vortex is pretty smooth for an Arrow Multi-Looper. Especially since they run the breaks heavy before the corkscrews, the ride has become smoother than it use to be.
  4. X-Flight never had a batman theme it has always been known as X-fight even when GL was Six Flags. X-Flight was the big new coaster the year when Six Flags bought Sea World and made the park Worlds of Adventure. Not a bad ride, but you stand in line for awhile no matter how long it is. Then you wait in the station for a long time to. Not very capacity friendly. The B&M flyer is a much better design.
  5. I must agree that a War of the Worlds Coaster will no doubt be in the works. Unless they go for the more costly, but imerssive ride simulator like Spider Man. In all honesty I hope they opt for a coaster themed as much as IJST is and use the extra money to add some other new attractions. Dont get me wrong Spider Man is awesome, but that is one big price tag.
  6. BoddaH1994, I will agree mostly with what you say about coasters today and I am also a huge fan of extravagent themeing. This is one of the reassons that I am burnt out on Cedar Point. Just coasters, nothing else. I would love to see a monsterous Intamin themed to Godzilla or a B&M flyer themed to Sky Captain or War of the Worlds
  7. PKIfan73 I must agree that most people will come for the Big Ones. Look at CP they do no themeing, but the people flock to that park. Why? because of the monsters of the midway. I think PKI could really benefit from another monster without themeing it.
  8. Who in their right mind would want to ride a coaster during winter in Ohio? Not me. Way to freaking cold. Ill go to FLA if I need a coaster fix during the long Ohio Winters. PKI would loose so much money being open year round. Unless we build a dome over the entire park and keep it at a comfortable 75 degrees.
  9. I want an Intamin Giga that intertwines with the SOB. Can annyone say Beast Slayer
  10. I love HB as much as the next person, because thats what I grew up with, but kids today dont know it as well as us. We would love to see HB land remain because it reminds us of our childhoods, but we are not the target market for the Kiddie area anymore. I have taken my niece and nephew to PKI before and answered numerous questions about who certain HB characters were. Kinda shows me that HB land is no longer making that connection. Scooby Doo is about the only character that the kids even really knew and loved. HB land is going to be transformed into a Nick Central expansion. Hopefully we will get a Super Saturator to ease my pain.
  11. The Great Wolf Lodge is absolutely amazin in Sandusky. The indoor waterpark is so much fun and there are quite a few slides, interactive water activities, and adult only hot tubs. Besides the great indoor waterpark the lodge also offers some really good dinning and a large arcade. The Great Wolf will be an excelent addition to PKI, especially if they do bring Winterfest back, because guests will plan longer stays so they can experience the hotel and the holiday attractions at PKI(Fearfest/Winterfest). I cant wait for the Great Wolf Lodge and I will be one of the first guests, because they offer a truley unique experience. Also for FYI. Sandusky has the Great Wolf Lodge(which use to be the Great Bear Lodge-owned by same company.) Castaway Bay which is owned by Cedar Point, and under construction is the 3rd indoor water park resort known as Kalahari, which is suppose to be the biggest of the 3. I love the idea of 1 and 2 aint bad, but can that area really support 3?
  12. Exactly, dont knock the slow speeds until you ride it. Look at Top Thrill Dragster and how slow it crests the top hat. It may be 400+ft in the air and 120mph, but it creeps over the top hat. Think about the first time you saw that ride in person. Gurantee you thought you were going to see a roll back, but it is designed to go slow over the top and it also gives one incredible feeling goin that slow over the top. So dont knock the slowness at the top of the parking garge until you experience it.
  13. I miss King Cobra and Phantom Theater the most. Atleast we get to see the old Phantom Theater props during FearFest though.
  14. The Paramount Story is in a great location in the park to put in another Huss Giant Ride or a Topple Tower. The PStory may be nice and pretty, but you could easily move all the props into a musem type setting.
  15. If there is a Nick Expansion, a Super Saturator would be awesome. Absolutely the best family ride around.
  16. Intamin deffinately has a niche with their awesome Giga coasters and the sideless trains, but height doesnt make everything in a coaster. Look at Magnum, Apollo, Nitro, and Titan. Those are some great coasters and they are not enormous compared to todays standards. Dont overlook B&M because they dont go over 300ft, size isnt everything.
  17. Ive said it before and I will say it again. Beast---->Son of Beast----->Beast Slayer It makes sense that the next major coaster that doesnt have the family tag on it will go along with The Beast Theme. Except it wont be wood, but steel. Intamin or B&M... Ive heard people also talk about the Son and the Slayer intertwined. As if they were fighting or dueling. Call me crazy all you want, but it makes sense .
  18. The Beast---->Son of Beast---->06-07 Beast Slayer Steel Hyper Twister, possible B&M or Intamin Id bet the Farm on it
