That's like saying " I know for sure today may, or may not, be sunny" Tusk - stealing terps thunder

He, Big Sexy, said it was coming south on 71 from Columbus in the other thread. He also said it was Intamin square track, so, its not coming from the factory south of us. Edited for spelling
-
That would be the most direct, and convenient route.
-
I feel like building a coaster like Intimidator would be too similar to Diamondback.
-
Where are all these 2 cents going to? Someone should pick those up....

Here is what I have found out in the 3 days I went missing: Everyone talks a lot. I like a lot of things. New stuff has showed up . Old Stuff has showed up. Sarcasm is still at an all time high. Tusk - once again, being observant.
-
So you want a steel version of The Beast?
-
How could you forget the Fiesta? A Contour this thread has become. I am just glad my Sunliner is out on this Prefect day. Tusk - who just had to.

Unless, of course, you are referring to http://www.gigaloops.com/ What I, personally, am really hoping for is an upgraded/new Dippin Dots Depot in Action Zone! Having to walk all the way across the park from AZ just to get to the depot really grinds my gears.............but I digress. Edit - forgot AZ

That's what she said ....... I'm sorry The Office has really taken a toll on me this week. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, rain wont delay the curing of concrete but actually result in a harder set. However, if it rains during a pour the chances of getting a good set go out the window.

Something reliable. A dippin dots guy info stand? Tusk - who, really, just laughed at himself.

But it seems like Blue Fire has no big characteristics like a leviathan-type coaster. As we've already heard: "One does not simply replace a towering 200+ foot tall wooden coaster that is still fresh in everyone's mind, with another something like BLSC in the same park." - DontWantTo Cedar Fair is really going to have to outdo the Gargantuan Glob of Wood that once stood where supposed "new ride" is going, just because of how big of a loss that ride was to the park. And besides, when was the last time KI added something really big? 4 years ago. Seems like we're really due up for something huge. Also Mack is a company that is not as well known by Cedar Fair as B&M is. Soo... yeah, it's probably not going to be a Mack. sorry. I am not saying its a Mack just putting options out there for one..another it doesn't have to be a towering coaster to be a great fun filled ride! As it stands right now know one knows what we are getting at the island, So until we see track it could be anything. Someone knows. Tusk - being eerily similar to Terpy

Gotta love CF not putting enough into marketing to make the ads park specific, other than the name of the park. I do this type of Graphic Design/Marketing work for a local company. It's really not hard to swap in a new background to make an ad or banner specific to a certain thing. I do it all the time. It's kind of ridiculous that Cedar Fair is too lazy or cheap (which ever the case may be) to do the same thing for their parks which are WAY bigger businesses than the one I work for. If our small company can do it with just a team of one (myself), then there is no excuse for Cedar Fair's marketing team to take such shortcuts. From one Graphic Designer to another, I agree wholeheartedly with you!

^ I think Cedar Fair has learned their lesson in entrance plaza's. Most of the, recent, coaster plaza's they have been building have a very nice feel to them. Nice, neatly, landscaped entrances do wonders for a ride's entrance appeal imo.
-
^ You also forget that those footers, from King Cobra, are hardly visible. Especially to the general public. The odds of them seeing the footers are about as good as my odds of making it to the NHL (unless, of course, they go up the ET to get a better view at our, super special, secret project). So, why remove them if most never see them? - Tusk, just making observation(s)
-
Probably more ideal. Its just my biased opinion wanting the entrance in Oktoberfest. I did, however, state that I thought it would be going into AZ though.
-
Bumping to give Brian the credit for the prediction that I mentioned above. Whip him w/ a wet noodle should he be wrong (edit: got page bumped, wish they would have strong together so my post went w/ brian's prediction/observation. and given this picture: You can see why it could be possible to have the entrance between slingshot and Adventure Express, with the exit sending people out into AZ. Again unlikely, but that's just my hunch.
-
Viking Fury is not a part of Oktoberfest?? Then what is it a part of? If you put the exit and entrance in different places it could work. Just my opinion though.
-
But then that would pull people away from AZ, More than likely the entrance will be around the old TA entrance, if not incorporated into the queue for the new ride. Exactly...imo Oktoberfest needs a new attraction before AZ. Will it probably happen? No. Do I want it to happen? Yes!
-
Not necessarily to those, but I, for some reason, do think the entrance will be between slingshot and Adventure Express. I have no proof, or justified causes to believe this, its just a hunch. I also do realize it would be much easier, and more convenient, to have its entrance in Action Zone (wanted to cover my tracks before someone called me an idiot ) which is probably where it in fact is going.
-
^ And, I bet it was more enjoyable than you thought it would be.
-
The main reason, for such a slope, is due to the creek (the creek that goes underneath Top Gun er Flight Decks station) that flows through that area. Erosion and rain, elements of nature.
-
You have tasted coaster footers before??? I don't know if I'm more worried that no one said anything, or that I'm the only one who is saying anything.
