I already took care of the logo back in post http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/21765-random-photo-of-the-day/page-94#entry512662 I found this one day when....Oh Wait!! Did someone hear a Banshee??..... and I took care of it even before you did http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/27275-starting-to-decode-2014/page-12#entry512931

The Pandora's Box is an interesting concept. I think, I would like to see something like that as well in the near future. Not sure it could fit in tomb raider the crypts old box of goodies, but I wouldn't mind them giving it a try. I would like to see something go inside besides just a haunt attraction only used for a month of the year.

If you look at the true size of these footers, you can tell they're most likely not for lights. Lighting would use a much smaller foundation.. However, they will probably have a sign and possibly theming on a few footers somewhere.. The three of you are going to love this idea I came up with. So those wonderful light footers, or themed footers, you so speak of? SOBwasaSOB listen up this is for you - I wonder what they are doing with those old Phantom Theater characters.... hmmmm Perhaps they will use those characters for themeing in this ride, if the name is indeed "Banshee". It would actually fit the theme. Now I realize they used a lot of those during the haunt, and many may not be usable anymore but its a thought.

^ I was wondering about this because it seems they cut down a few trees to the left of the line of Adventure Express. Now, this could of course be for basic maintenance, however something could run next to it, but that would be a tight window. Although, if that's the case this coaster will indeed be massive. I will say, imo, I think that to be highly unlikely.

Since it's going to be in the Action Zone it should be targeted for thrill seekers IMO. Isn't that what that area supposed to be for? "thrill seekers"? Or are we in a different era? and how do you know for sure its going to be in Action Zone? Tusk - holding on to that minuet strand of hope for oktoberfest

I worry about those Snicker Bar-like handle bars. Have you seen what happens to chocolate candy bars in water??? Example: http://www.youtube.com/embed/TPxiXGr9nFM

Has it always been that uneven. The ariel views show a flat dusty square while this is uneven. I'm I just missing something? I believe it has. Glad you pointed that out.

Just a few small photos from the weekend. I was planning on being at the park open to close so I did not bring in my good camera. I only had my Iphone and figured I would snap a few photos, although not much to see from them.

^ And ruin the fun for everyone else? No thanks.

People were hurt - and not just a cut or bump that goes away with time. There are KIC members who were injured on Son and they live with pain every day of their lives. They keep kicking themselves for not reporting it, but with all the stuff going on with that POS at the time, they figured no one would listen to them - just people looking to get a settlement from a court case. I pray to God you never get an injury from an amusement ride (or in my case, a Ford product). To have to live with pain the rest of your life is pure hell. Has Hank driven a Ford lately? No! I being one of those members of KIC that went through the pain of S.O.B. but did not say anything. As I was a young pup whose back healed and is now only in minor pain, which I blame mostly on hockey anymore. Prepping fresh-cut trees for Winterfest? I love the smell of pine in the winter, although the smell may be a little dull by then. I have already stated this, earlier, in this topic. Say 75 pages back or so. While I do not expect you to read all 135, jebus, pages of this thread, it is something that has already been brought up. Equally, I believe it was something someone made notion to before construction even started last year on the forums as well, but I have been wrong before. edit - unless you love the "spell" of pine like I do, I deemed it necessary to correct my spelling mistake.

Right. Because there aren't hundreds of other manufacturers out there like Zierer, Gerstlauer, PTC, RMC, Premier, or Vekoma that could be creating this coaster. Neither of you seemed to mention Mack Rides, which is a company that I haven't heard quite a few of you name. Remember, Cedar Fair did install a Mack wild mouse coaster at Knotts last year and it sure was a Coast Rider! Along with that, Mack is also kind-of into the dark ride business...Amusement Dark anyone? Not saying it would be a wild-mouse, just throwing out the idea of getting a Mack ride in general, whether that be a wild mouse or launched coaster or even a Mack dark ride. I'd love a Mack coaster. I just don't think its in the cards this time around. My spidey senses are telling me otherwise.

Bringing a little faith into the face palm. I can dig it.

KI was with Disney? When did this happen? If they were to do something with X-Base I feel they would do it somewhat like this: While I could see that being the set up, I feel the bottle neck you would create with the ride entrance/exit (ie right to the left after you go under The Racer) to be just as bad as the bottle neck going into AZ from Oktoberfest. Now, granted they could do some more work and make that path wider under The Racer, however having to remove more wood from The Racer may be something they do not want to do. In any case you came up with another idea of how X-base could be expanded.
-
I do think, at some point, we will get an X-Base expansion. I do not, however, think they will connect Action Zone to X-Base. I guess perhaps they could, but I just don't see that being plausible for quite a while. Best bet would be the sheds, to the right of Firehawk, getting moved or destroyed to expand X-Base IMO.

Either way, its a footer that needs some flower pot love
-
I kinda miss seeing flower pots on footers around the park. Maybe they could put a flower pot on the light footer over near Flight Deck that chugh43 posted earlier.

I will never step foot on this. Ever. -
Invertigo (or any similar esk ride IE. DejaVu) is a one timer for me. I am happy having rode it numerous times but it really doesn't excite me like other rides do.
-
I really hope those footers come with some sort of padding, that will not feel good on the tush.

^ Yes Tusk - You would think Terpy has been mentoring me with that reply

I being one of those 27. Worst experience I have ever felt. Wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemy. The dippin dots guy!?
-
I know. I guess my sarcasm was not good enough. Sigh, old age must be creeping up on me.
-
I didn't realize Vortex, Firehawk, Outerlimits, and Invertigo didn't have inversions.....and to think I go to KI every year and ride said rides. Learn something new everyday.

I feel like there is a gopher in one of your photos "Zayzayd13". Although, that could just be roots and mud.
