It was removed due to poor design and maintainance issues. The track on The Bat was not banked as it is on Top Gun, thus causing wear and tear on the shocks. It was plagued with problems and was removed. No one ever died from The Bat.

Whatever PKI decides to put in is in the best interest for the park. Who knows what we'll get; maybe a B&M, perhaps an Intamin or even a Vekoma.

They don't make any difference in the ride. Although you have to get used to it being there because I totally forgot about the belts at the end of the ride.

A theater of that size could not use a digital projector unless it was unbelievably huge and expensive. Both sides use a continuous Linear Loop projector. Side B uses an Iwerks 870, Side A uses an Iwerks 870 3D.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing cooler shows in the upcoming seasons. Magic of the Movies may not be the best, but it's just a taste at the capabilities of the theater.

I'd maybe add 2 or 3 new body and/or raft slides. An outdoor stage would be nice too.

Correct. Those are giant 18 inchers that can move some serious air. Look around the park. PKI uses JBL Pro just about everywhere, from the Paramount and Nick Theater to TR:TR's outdoor cue.
