  1. I'd have the meeting on another date that week because a lot of students, including me, end school later that week.
  2. Side B does not have the Iwerks 870 3D projector. I believe B only shows 2D shows.
  3. Stengel has over 89 and counting.
  4. John Allen designed over 7 coasters after The Racer was built. Comet Funway Amusement Park, 1973 Great American Scream Machine Six Flags Over Georgia, 1973 Scooby-Doo's Ghoster Coaster Paramount's Kings Dominion, 1974 Rebel Yell Paramount's Kings Dominion, 1975 Screamin' Eagle Six Flags St. Louis, 1976 Skyliner Lakemont Park, 1987 Swamp Fox Family Kingdom Amusement Park, 1992 He has designed well over 20 coasters in his career.
  5. Same here. It's always been Meijer for me.
  6. My guess is a printing glitch.
  7. I believe all the floats are operated by people. Embedded in the pavement are little RF modules called pucks that communicate with the parade control computer, also known as "pageant." It synchronizes all of the music with it's float and makes sure it is in the correct location in relation to the other floats. They can tell whether or not a float is moving too fast or too slow. Maybe there was a malfunction with the float drivesystem or miscommunication with parade control. Who knows.
  8. I'd have to say Intamin and Arrow because they both hold up to a high reputation and they've built a lot of great rides.
  9. So, planning a meetup a go or no-go?
  10. How do you know if they don't have redundant safety measures on S&S's drop rides?
  11. Trust me, If they wanted to do a show of that magnitude, they could do it. But, being Paramount, they probably wouldn't.
  12. Sorry to say it, but some of them have a little too much enhancing goin on there.
  13. Believe what you want. If you believed it rolled back, then it rolled back. If you believe it didn't, then it didn't. I believe it did. Given the conditions, it's entirely possible.
  14. Care to give us a lesson in Italian ebonics at the next meeting?
  15. Just because the park sells em, doesn't mean that they have to get them there. You can buy them at Meijer, AAA and online at pki.com.
  16. I get out June 3rd. But I can always go on weekends throughout May.
  17. http://www.pki.com/corpinfo_press_hob.jsp Ginuwine with Joe and Jagged Edge, The Roots, and the Sweet Harmony Traveling Revue featuring Emmylou Harris have already been confirmed for The Paladium Amphitheatre at PCW. Who knows what acts will be seen at TimberWolf.
  18. It's always funny to teach your non-pki-friendly friends how to get airtime. I taught a couple how to get some on Vortex. They were freaked out.
  19. I guess there wouldn't be any harm in having one this month. Question is, who would go?
  20. All of the sound and lighting systems are pretty much the same, except for the added projection systems.
  21. Mr. Christopher replied to murph's topic in Trip Reports
I don't see what the big deal is. All of my rides on SOB are smooth and all I do is sit in the middle of the cars. But, that's just what works for me. I can't say anything for other people.
  22. He really gets into his job.
  23. I said I would ride SOB first. Wound up riding Beastie.
  24. A "breaking wind" machine.
  25. The new restraints will need some headbanging to break em in.
