So I finally have a moment to write my trip report from this weekend. First off I'd like to thank everyone who I got a chance to meet from KIC this weekend. Hopefully next time I will have a chance to meet a few more of you. Also thanks to Don for allowing us to be a part of this. Saturday May 9th We left Indy around 4:30 Saturday morning on little over 4 hours of sleep. My g/f (Aleesha) slept most of the way there. We arrived at the park around 6:20. We headed right for the line to register. After registering we waited about 20 minutes and then they walked us all back to The Beast. We got three rides on before 8. We then headed over to BLSC were we waited on train for front car. After that they had opened The Vortex so we got two rides on it, once in 7-1 and once in the front. Both seats were equally as smooth in my opinion. We then walked back over to BLSC for another ride. Then back over to The Beast for our 4th ride of the day. After all that it was about 9 and I had forgotten to take my Dramamine so we walked back out to my car to grab a snack and take my meds. We walked back into the park around 9:45 and we headed over to the Coney Mall. At 10 we got the first train of the day in first car on FoF. Which is now my favorite seat. Then Firehawk was still doing its morning tests so we jumped in line outside of the que and decided we would wait. Turns out we only waited 5 minutes then they let us in. We were the second train of the day. Another amazing ride. After that we decide to Ride Adventure Express. It was fun but the effects weren't working in the tunnel still. Then we headed over to Runaway Reptar and got a ride in on that. Now it was time for The Beast walkback, and I will let the pictures do the talking. Possible contest photo #1 After The Beast walkback I really don't remember the order in which we rode everything so I'm just going to post some of the best pictures I took during the day. Possible contest photo #2 Possible contest photo #3 So after getting a couple rides in on a few more rides. I was ready for a nap. So we left the park around 3:30 to go and check into our hotel. We took about a 2 hour nap and grabbed a few snacks then back to the park we were by 7. We headed straight for SoB where I managed to get a few good photos. After waiting about an hour and fifteen minutes for SoB we decided we'd jump in line for our night ride on The Beast. We timed it just right. We got our last ride on The Beast right at 9:30. Wow I will always love The Beast at night, and now guess what I had time to jump in line for one ride on Diamondback before the ERT started. The single rider lane was looking longer than the regular line so I jumped in the regular line and only waited about 25 minutes just reached the stairs when the fireworks started. Another amazing ride on Diamondback. Now it was time for ERT. The thing I liked most was the no seat assigning. This helped a lot. I only got three rides during ERT because my g/f didn't want to ride and I didn't want her to just have to sit alone for another hour and a half so we left at 11:30. Here are my ORP's from that night. Oh my last ride of the night was in the front car. WOW!!! Is all I can say. What a way to end the night. Second day TR coming shortly!

That's funny that you mention that Terpy. Angrybeaver dared me to do it but I decided I was against having sore fingers for the rest of the day.

Yes and the M&M's machine that is in question right now. He also grabbed a quick picture of that. I also remember a certain "Large Family" that he took pictures of and couldn't stop laughing at. LMAO

The funny thing is we were with him when he took that picture of the tree. And we questioned it. I also remember some more of the really random pictures he took as well.

Sorry you missed most of the ERT Nick. My g/f and I had a good time hanging out with you and your cousin and riding a few rides. Hope to do it again.

I'm pretty sure KI is open on weekedays after Memorial day. We had another trip planned for Thursday May 28th, but It's not looking good for the rest of my family. So you might see us at either HW or CP. Who knows what will happen. I just hope I'm riding coasters on that day.

Kudos to Don and thank you Ryan and Dane for making this one of the best websites in the world! It was great meeting all of the KIC'ers that I did.

Haha those are pretty funny. I decided to play dead.

Id rather it was be a coaster. Im not that into flat rides. The only one I somewhat like is Drop Tower. If the others were taken out tomorrow I wouldnt miss them.

My g/f and I were on that train with you. We heard you say. OMG the lights are on. We got two rides with the lights on. Then we came back and got one with the lights turned off.

I didn't even have to try on the green train. The wind was blowing and it blew the water right into my seat. So the back of my pants were wet for about 30 min.

They both had people on them. Unless you are talking about another vid?

That might be true because I got wet on the back car of the green train and I didn't on the red train.

Haha I know I waved back. I think that was about the time we were going to try to get on Firehawk before everyone else. Which we did. Also got the first train on FoF front car for the day.

Haha you could have joined us lol. I had to ride Diamondback alone most of my rides. She doesn't like it. And yes Angrybeaver questioned her all night about why she doensn't like it.

I didn't know you guys were going to take a group photo. I'd have joined in had I known.

I got a medium fitted tee with Chase's design. The neck fits a little tightly but I'm wearing it around today for a few hours to break it in lol.

I marathoned Python at BGT one night all in all i got 36 rides on it 17 of them without getting off. The rest I wanted to change seats each time. I may be the only one who misses that coaster.

I'm sure going to try to take one of the best photos. But I'm not going to get my hopes up. And I was considering borrowing my dads camera but I don't want to lug it around all day. So I'm just going to bring my 8.2mp Kodak Easyshare. Who knows maybe I'll get lucky this time. I'm deff going to go buy two more memory cards for this weekend though.
