So don't go to watch a show. It's not meant for you then. I'm sure this will appeal to some of the people who don't like thrill rides. It also gives the parents some time out of Planet Snoopy.

Something new besides Banshee for 2014?
UnrealNightmare replied to IndyGuy4KI's topic in Kings Island
I have a feeling it's gonna be King's Island's version of Luminosity. -

While you guys are all excited waiting for the announcement, I'm stuck here wondering where the pizza I ordered an hour ago is at. -

As long as they don't bring this back ever again! -
They are definitely moving the train in and out of the station.
-
I see it now.
-
I'm not seeing a train there.

National Geographic Megastructures - Ultimate Rollercoaster Just type that into YouTube. EDIT** Or you could just click.

There's a documentary on the building of Kingda Ka I've posted it on this forum before. They couldn't get the launch to work properly at all in the initial testing. Ka did not open with the park that year.
-
And it did roll back on it's first run. Quite a few times actually. But I think the real reason they tested at night was because they were so far behind schedule. They needed every minute they had and then some to get her open.
-
Since when is Kings Island ran by the school board or the government for that matter?
-
I'm pretty sure Tatsu did most of its testing at night to avoid the enthusiasts. At least that's what I got from the Discovery Channel documentary I watched on it.
-
I'm sure a lot of us have thought that. That's why people have been watching the cams and posting pictures of Banshee at night as well. But I don't think they would test it first at night as part of marketing. Think about it, what part of the day will Banshee give the most rides. During the day when the sun is out. She may only give night rides for two hours out of the twelve the park is open.

I gotta feeling today might be the day.

13 min in video question is asked about trims. Don reply's there will be an adjustable trim. But from what I understand it will be at the bottom of the drop. And I have no idea what adjustable trim means or what it looks like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71A2y3e3COA
-
A rumor that holds no water.
-
So you're telling me they came out, put holes in the track, and installed a trim before testing even began. That makes no logical sense. If they had and reason to believe they might need a trim brake down the road they would have sent the track looking something like this.
-
Take any rumor with a grain of salt. There is no evidence that a trim was ever installed. I'm pretty sure all of Banshee's parts for braking the ride came installed on the track before they arrived at the park. With B&M being as well trained as they are I highly doubt they decided after the coaster was built to come out and install a trim. Especially near the part of the coaster where the park is boasting it will reach its top speed.

Are you seeing this and thinking it's an MCBR? Again Photo Credit goes to Kings Island's Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152405642883368&set=pb.155893938367.-2207520000.1394482311.&type=3&theater

Unless they came out and put holes in the track to place the trim there isn't one there. Photo Credit to Kings Island's Facebook Page. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152469311548368&set=pb.155893938367.-2207520000.1394482099.&type=3&theater
-
What gives you that indication? I see nothing that indicates there is one there.
-
Well I hope not. They'd need a pretty big 3D printer for that.
-
I personally don't think spiels add anything to the ride. I usually don't pay any attention to them at all. Unless I'm at Disney on the Jungle Cruise.

When do walls and flowerbeds need footers?
