Yeah it another great night, we got there around 5 ready for a downpour but took the chance for a few rides and to our surprise no rain, park empty. We are going to be ruined with all the walk on rides and 5 minute wait for front seats. We did not expect to close the park but it was just too nice a night not to stay. Beast front seat at night was amazing. AE at night is a close second. I only hope I can wait in line again one day......lol.

I rode it last Friday night and did not noticed the other lights........its still one of the best night rides in the park. I was watching to see if the spears were working or not in the tunnel but could not tell it was too dark.

Yes it was a great night. No crowds.......most everything was a walk-on. We too were only going for a couple of hrs. , but after seeing no lines we stayed till closing.

Yeah I was there with my wife and boy last friday and we got in 6 rides, 3 at night which I think are the best. We rode other stuff too in our short 3 hr. trip. Afterwards I realize maybe we should have just rode DB but we had not been to KI in 2 years (been going to CP). Any predictions on what this Friday will be like with a 10-10 math and science ?

Nice trip report and review........Maverick by all the reviews I have read may be everybody's new #1 coaster.........amazing.........I even heard some say its better and more intense than MF and TTD.....(sorry not a Maggie fan here......too rough for me.....much like Voyage)........hey how would you compare it to the Mystery Mine ride.......better ??........much better ?? or what ?.........can't wait we are heading to CP in a week for a few days............oh also you guys be sure to check out the new COASTERBUZZ.COM..... PODCAST..........they talk about Firehawk (warning ...they are not fans of that ride) and Maverick of which they give one detail and very excellent review on.............you will enjoy it........it really movtivated me !!!!!

We're not sure. There has been speculation over the past week or so as to whether or not both trains would run today, which it didn't. When I rode this ride as X-flight from up north I never saw 2 trains run.........also it was a little painful with the sun in your face laying on your back out of the station........it was suppose to be upright till you climb the left hill.......nerver happen.........its an decent little ride.......but not worth more than a 20 min. wait.....IMHO.......wish they would have dug a pond out with water jets you could fly over now that would have been cool........you spend most of the time staring at the ground in flight position during the ride ........again not a bad ride.......just not nearly as good as KI's other rides there. Hope you all get to ride and enjoy.

This guy knows what he's talking about! Yeah we crank up the atv and pull each other around on sleds before we hill the hills.

Just got back.........what a nice place......its quite a bit larger than the one in Sandusky with much larger slides........and the slides I like even more than the Kalahari.........wave pool is nice........could use bigger waves (kinda small).......they seem to vary from W.P. to W.P. ......Coyote Canyon was sweet.....never though I would love getting flush down the toilet as much as I did...lol........W.C. rock too......we had a great time........the lobby show was well done....nice effects.......we were singing along the 12 days of x-mas with it (done with a GWL flare) and pick up on the moose singing......."and a water slide that makes you go Weeeee".......pretty cool......the parking lot was pack but inside was not bad.......lines were not to long......10 mins max. on the big slides.......the park can handle large crowds.......staff was nice and very loose......I get tire of uptight staffers blowing whistles too much........all in all.......a very nice trip !!!!! P.S.,..........also the rooms were very nice and large.......we were even able to check in early at 1 instead of 4 p.m......also the wristbands work great but be careful you can spend a lot........breakfast buffet was great too...........ok so thats the short version preview.....hey Avatar post some room pics if ya got any.

Check out the lodge Sat.,......took lots of pics.........place looks great........we can't wait till our stay this Friday........my only concern was I did not see the water coaster run once.........we ate there and musta spent a few hrs. looking around........for a Sat.,......it was not crowed at all......but people were arriving as we left around 3.........water park was empty.......may be the reason why the W.C. was not running........wave pool looked great......nice size waves.........anybody wants to see more pics.........just PM me........got some nice ones......but nothing you have not seen for the most part.

Good article in the dayton dailey news paper today with a nice video and pics......it say's rooms for $149 a night......we did not find that to be true.......ours is $189.......I'll be checking it out Sat. and getting some pics,....you'll have to surf around a bit to find the video,....I try a direct link....but did not work,pretty cool vid.Wolf lodge video

Same here.......we live in the south dayton area so we are gonna take a sneak peek at the grand opening this weekend just for adding anticipation before our stay on Dec. 22nd .......can't wait !!!....... I was wondering about the picture of the big circular yellow bowl type slide is that the Hydro bowl slide where you get flushed out the slide into a big toilet bowl and out the bottom ??? And it looks like there's a Masterblaster water coaster .......great pics .......looking forward to more......thanks again.
