  1. That's why I've been thinking about just purchasing iron-on logos for you guys to apply on yourself. Thoughts?
  2. I am trying to figure out the best route to go, but I am not trying to make any money off them. All will get them at cost. I'm just trying to decide which direction I should go, print wise. Right now, I'm thinking about $18 or so, each, plus shipping.
  3. How many people want shirts? Also, if given the choice between getting a t-shirt, or getting an iron on decal to place on a shirt YOU choose, which would you want?
  4. Sorry, been a little busy with this website, and other things. Here's a bit about me. My real name is Lee. Although I live in Indianapolis, I consider Kings Island my home park. I've been going to it for over twenty years. I'm a graphic artist by trade, and have been in charge of designing 95% of the banner, logo, and t-shirt design (well, the one that originally won before Dane released the second version, per request) you have all seen on KICentral for close to a decade... God I'm old, lol. I have been a long term theme park/amusement park enthusiast. I've done the Walt Disney College Program, gone to IAAPA multiple times, and am trying hard to get back into the industry via Disney or Silver Dollar City. Guess that's really all I have. That's my life in a nut shell. If anyone ever needs any graphics/vinyl/etc, contact me. I do vehicle graphics, signage, logo/branding creation. Etc.
  5. Facebook Updated. Most likely will change, but it is what it is for the time being.
  6. A new logo to go with the new layout! Stay tuned!
  7. I apologize to you skater. It wasnt intended for you. Just took the last quote I saw. Hopefully everyones done with the situation, and we wont have to deal with it anymore. iChase, ordered one of your shirts. Again, great job on it.
  8. Well, i'm glad you can state what other people have stated. I think the line is pretty much drawn down the center with the opinions. I did not vote for my design, which means 39 people did. I really like everyones negative comments, but hey, whatever. Just keep on continuing with them. As if we haven't already heard them 15 times over. And everyone who is crying about the design, great job on waiting till after the shirt was voted for to start the b**** fest. Hell, lets have a competition where all the naysayers go ahead and try to design something, then we'll see how it works out. I do apologize for the *****ing, but some of you are just plain annoying and rude.
  9. Come on people, keep buying those shirts! Dane worked hard to get both iChases and my design up there. I really wanna see them at the meet this year! As for people critiquing, keep on doing it. I'm a graphic designer, and always want to hear peoples thoughts and opinions on any of the work I do. To tell you the truth, I didnt even get a chance to finish the design. I dont recall who mentioned it, but I was actually going to have the Eiffel Tower in the background, lol. Again, thanks everyone for supporting iChase and myself. I can't speak for him, but I'm extremely extatic that I will get to see both of these shirt designs wandering the park this season. And once again. Everyone did a tremendou job with the designs! I hope we can host another contest of some sort some time soon.
  10. Would love to have that for my PS3 in high def. 1920×1080 if possible. Is it vector or non-vector based artwork?
  11. Well dang! I'm excited! Thanks to everyone for voting. Ichase, your design is my PS3, PC, and phone desktop. Everyone did a wonderful job with there designs, I liked them all!
  12. Anyone have any clue what year KICentral was established?
  13. We use Photoshop alot for editing of photos, but for creating logos, we use vector based programs, ie, Coreldraw and Illustrator. I can't wait to see what people come up with! And dont worry if you guys cant make it too detailed, I can always digitize it.
  14. When I saw the animation, I felt the layout didnt quite fit the area. After watching the video and seeing the photos of the finished product, I have to say I'm quite impressed. It looks pretty darn cool running around back there. I can't wait to ride!
  15. Alot "funner", hu? Do you mean alot more fun
  16. Disassembling part of a roller coaster (wooden or steel) is not hard. It consists of removing sections attached by bolts and nails. The areas that are nailed are pried off, and the areas that are bolted, are obviously just unbolted. There will be need for a bulldozer unless they may possibly add additional support columns to provide additional support to the area of the ride. The only reason you will see a crane in that area of the track will be to aid in the removal of the parts of the track, as well as the rebuilding of that part of the track. Anyways, most of the items I said above were just my hypothesis, but the ways of disassembling the ride were based on facts that I’ve gathered from experience from monitoring the deconstruction of wooden/steel roller coasters, and from speaking to the companies who are usually contracted out to do these types of things.
