Usually if Cedar Fair is opening a NEW unused ride they like to have it ready by opening day! I would not be surprised to see this new coaster open with the park in April 2009. I would say that as much work that is done at this point will allow for an opening day the same as the park! If you look at other Cedar Fair Parks and new coaster instalations they almost always open when the park does. Lately there have been a few exceptions as they have installed some used rides that took a little more time than usual.

Once upon a time Cedar Point even had dry run days. It was usually contractors and their families, Families of employees, and invited guests. I attended one in 1989 as my dad poured the foundations for Magnum. Really was a DEAD day at the park. I can see why a lot of parks don't do them anymore. Practically everyone in the gates is there for free, or real cheap, but they still have to pay all the employees.

I just got off the phone with the park and they said that tha jackets are not in. I plan on heading there tonight as well wanting to get my jacket.

My wife and I were very impressed with this show. It has got to be one of the best shows this park has ever seen!

AS of last year it was all Hunigton. I imagine this year will be the same.

I was told they didnt have that wehN I went to the gate today. I was able to get it with no problems. They upgraded my Season Pass on the spot with the all Ohio Parking.

When we got there it was us and one other family! I was actually pretty surprised how little people were there, but then again I am sure that the weather had something to do with it!

I asked when I got my pass today and they said that all passes that are Maxx passes are also considered gold passes. I also added the all Ohio Parking for $40.05.

Of course I miss the Flying Eagles the most. But I really miss Phantom Theatre.

Although not 100% sure about the policy as of today, but it the past all Cedar Fair employees were able to go to any Cedar Fair park for free. Something could have changed but I doubt it.

The ride is a lot of fun! It should make for a great addition to the Island. Most people that I know truly like the ride so I think the general public will love it. I find B&M flyers to be more comfortable in regards to restraints but Vekoma are not that bad.

As far as I can remember they have always mirrored to the Paramount site, I could be mistaken though. I know over the summer they did as I was checking just after the purchase went through. As far as the other Cedar Fair sites go Cedar Point is by far the best, however some have started to bring a look about them like CP. I always liked them more than the Paramount ones just for the fact that there was always more information on each ride in the park by having its own page. I ride like The Beast truly deserves its own page for the park website, as do all the rides. Reminds me of a Six Flags branding a bit, but at least it is not Six Flags! I truly thought that each park would have its own custom logo, and who knows on Merchandise it just might. Speaking of merchandise wonder whatr kind of deal we will get on all the old Paramount branded stuff this season!

I like the Kings Dominion logo with only 1 flag. At first I was not sure if I liked it or not but the more I see it the more I like it. Overall I am pleased with the logos chain wide. I was a little surprised that each park did not get its own custom logo but I like how they have tied them together. I'd say that it is safe to say that all Cedar Fair logos will use the Cedar Point script with the flag, especially after seeing Michigans Adventures change already. I just hope that Snoopy drops off of all of them. Who knows the loss of Snoopy on the logos may be yet another sign of things to come. Just putting it out there, Nick Central stuff is a lot more popular than Snoopy now-a-days!

As of an hour ago the train was sitting at the top of the lift. The webcams have since been turned off for maintenance.

I imagine soon it will not be a concern. I see the launch of a new website in the future or a very dramatic change in the site. In comparison to all the other Cedar Fair Parks Paramount Parks websites were never that great.
