EXCEPT>.....I am pretty sure (if I remember correctly) that if you turn over that magical season pass you would find the phrase "not valid for FearFest" So, no....it wasnt a perk. My pass says absolutely NOTHING about "not valid for FearFest" on the back.

So skjackson had a bad time, so what. Not every trip I have made to KI over the last 10 years has been enjoyable either. I agree 100% when people say it is too busy to enjoy anything. Even Friday nights are getting to be that way too! This is supposed to be a place for people to come and post their experoences at the park, weather they are good or bad. We are all entitled to our opinion and the negativity when someone poest a bad review is getting old fast. As far as passholders whining about a possible upcharge this year goes, I agree with them because I am one of them! My pass was bought with the Halloween event listed as a perk. If they charged me an upcharge just because they changed the name I would have been highly P.O.'d! As it stands now I doubt I will be buying passes for me and my family next year because I think it sucks they will be charging passholders to get in. The event is decent but it's really no different than Fear Fest last year. A fat guy putting a nail in his nose, laying on nails, and hitting on every underage girl in the place doesn't make the event scarier, neither does "dead" teenagers singing about rehab. (In all fairness, Dead Awakening had great performers, it just wasn't my type of show)

Alcoloisim is a disease. If you're once an alcoholic you're always an alcoholic. (Just a recovering alcoholic.) Continue to work your 10 step program and you'll be fine. Umm...I hope you know my post was a joke. Although I was an alcoholic (haven't had a drink in over 10 years now) I was just pointing out how ridiculous people can get with being offended by just about anything.
-
YES! Since I am a former alcoholic I find the keg stand display very distasteful! I want KI to remove it immediately or I will never spend another dime in their parks again! Seeing this display almost made me relapse and start drinking again. The memories of sweet, sweet Budweiser on tap came flooding....back....into ......my......(in my best Homer Simpson voice)..mmmmmm....beer.... In all seriousness, if ya don't like something don't go or don't look, it's really that simple. What you find offensive may not be offensive to others and what others think is offensive you may think is perfectly fine. Point is, everyone is different. There are plenty of things for everyone to do at HH this year. If you don't like one area just go to another, or go watch a show, or go ride some rides. I can't believe they wacked Patrick either! Nooooooooo!!!!!

I just wish they would put trains on The Beast and SOB that "fluffy" people could ride in!

^ What a dork!!! But I say that in the best possible way cause I am a dork too! Looks like you sure had a good time, loved the dance. hehe My wife either hits me or runs when I do stuff like that in public, she's no fun, no fun at all I tell ya!
-
Yes it does Karen. I know my parents taught me to act like I had sense when in public and I teach my kids the same thing. These girls were saying things Andrew Dice Clay would say, it was embarassing and made them look like total idiots. There was a group of church kids a little ways back and they were looking at them like they needed Jesus! I'm just glad my daughter wasn't in line with me to hear the things they were saying.

Official Poll:What was your favorite part of Halloween Haunt 2007?

Yes she is, and very pretty too. She has a great voice, much better than Britney! -
This is my first trip report so I hope it is ok. (Date should say the 12th cause we went Friday night) Me, my wife, my friend from work, and my daughter and her boyfriend went to HH last night, some of us for the 3rd time this year. When we got to the park at 7 we got through the toll booth and found a parking space just fine. We then got in the long line to go through the metal detectors and then proceeded to the long line to get into the park. It didn't take too terribly long at either of these though. Once inside my wife was immediately scared by a girl pushing a baby carriage. I had seen the thing last week and told my wife to come look at the little baby. When she got up to the front of the carriage to look in the girl activated the baby and it jumped up scaring the crap out of my wife. It was great, although my wife didn't think so. hehe First thing we did was head to Club Blood. My wife wouldn't go through so me and my friend went through. Daughter and her boyfriend stayed with my wife to guard her from the spooks. Now I had went through CB last week and it wasn't that great, but this week it was awesome! They added some things to it since last week. There were more vampires, an area that had a few dead bodies hanging from the ceiling you had to walk through, and you walked closer to the chick that was eating the corpse. Oh, and the guy on the bungee device just appeared out of the darkness then disappeared back into it. Last week you could see him and his device, both coming and going. This week the effect was awesome. Also, last week we were like 3 or 4 feet from the girl eating the corpse, this week we were inches away from her. The changes this week really made the haunt a whole lot better. The only bad thing is I only got a quick glimpse of the hot vampire chick I have been lusting over for the last few weeks. Maybe I can see more of her next week. In the line for CB we were in between 2 groups of girls. The group in front of us were very well behaved, the ones behind us were very rude, loud, and vulgar. They kept talking about sex and saying they loved every guy they saw. We were grouped with the girls in front of us and they were clinging on to me most of the way through. They were so cute. hehe I kept telling them it was ok and that it was almost over. They actually froze in place during one point! The rude girls caught up to us and was yelling for them to "Get the F out of the way". I told them to shut up and leave them alone, which they didn't like too well but they didn't say anything to me or the girls after I yelled at them. When we exited the girls we were grouped with said "Thank you for everything in there", I thought that was nice. They were so cute and well mannered, wish all kids were as good as they were. After CB we rode Adventure Express and Racer. By then the park was packed. It had not been half as busy the last 2 Fridays. Lines for haunts were rediculous. I was thinking that maybe an up-charge for passholders may not be a bad thing afterall last night. Guess we'll just have to wait and see next year. We mostly walked around the park taking pictures the rest of the night. We ended up leaving around 11. Oh, by the way, I met the perfect woman last night. She was so perfect I had my wife take a picture of us together. She's perfect! Little skinny but at least she is a cheap date!

It's not that bad, at least I don't think it is. If he is ok at the front gates he should be fine walking around the park.

Friday nights have been pretty good so far this year. It is busy but not extremely packed. Longest wait for anything we did last week was 15 minutes, that's not too bad at all. As far as the kids go, I feel your pain. I see these kids and wonder "Did I act that stupid when I was that age?", sad thing is I probably did. The thing I hate the most at KI is the kids with basketballs. I, for one, would not miss those things one bit it KI got rid of them! Guess I'm gettin' old too.

LOL...this I gotta see! I think I saw Karen at the front gate last Fri but wasn't sure if I should say hello or not. (I'm kinda shy when meeting someone new)

I also would rather have Coke stay at the park, I prefer regular Coke over Pepsi, and Mountain Dew, Pepsi's best drink in my opinion, is just ok. I prefer Coke as well, with an occasional Dr. Pepper every now and then. Mostly been drinking Lo-Carb Monster energy drink lately though, trying to lose some weight so trying to stay away form the Coke. Still need my caffeine buzz in the morning though so Monster is great! The only time I ever liked Pepsi was when I was a little kid at my grandma's house. She always had ice cole Pepsi in those returnable bottles. I loved that stuff back then.

Opening night it was but this past Friday wasn't. Oh, the chick was still hot, but she wore more clothing this time around. First week she had on a teddy, this week she had on a long silk nightgown. I saw it last night and apparently they have changed a lot from what most have said opening night was like. Every one of the performers were decently covered and I didn't notice a lot of foul language, maybe one word but that was it. Come to think of it, I don't remember hearing the song that said "bxtch" several times in it this past Friday night but I did hear it on opening night.

Speaking of hot chicks, there is one in Club Blood that is smokin' hot. She was right before the dude on the bungee cord aparatus. I went through that place 4 times just to check her out!!
