So um, the park had already confirmed it would be back in 2006, and they had been selling tickets for it. They're kind of stuck.

How do you feel about CF buying PP?
Flying Eagles 1972-2004 replied to BoddaH1994's topic in KI Polls
They said in a briefing in June that they would not be changing the current admission types for the PP waterparks... -
FYI... People I am related too are disabled, and they have been in the IR when it was open to the public. They used to use the service elevator for ADA access.

King's Island Ride Fatalities
Flying Eagles 1972-2004 replied to mochababy937's topic in Kings Island
Nobody died on Face/Off. Nobody died on our Drop Zone. The Top Gun fatality was a preexisting medical condition. -
CF policies implemented at KI?
Flying Eagles 1972-2004 replied to Steveo3631's topic in Kings Island
Why don't they have a setup like Flight of Fear for MF and TTD, where the crew takes articles to a shelf located by the exit? -

What can we expect from Cedar Fair?
Flying Eagles 1972-2004 replied to KIfan73's topic in Kings Island
I hope the bring a friend free days die rapidly. They suck, and all it does is make the park miserably crowded. They'd do much better just giving passholders a ticket that can be used any time, as bringing your friends to the park when they have 40,000+ for the BAFFD does NOT leave a very good impression. -
I'm planning Sunday or Monday, which is my best bet? I need to buy my picnic tickets...

Not to mention that the separators don't assign seating. They just control the number in the station and make sure singles get paired and so forth. -
PKICentral Downtime
Flying Eagles 1972-2004 replied to Dane's topic in KICentral Footnotes & Small News
I accepted that certificate during the downtime, and it forwarded me to some junk site that sent me some Trojans. My Norton deleted like 7 of them at once, plus I recieved email from webmaster@pkicentral.com containing virus-ridden attachments. -
I believe he meant having it like an inch above your lap, not one clicked or something...

Smoothest ride I ever had on The Beast
Flying Eagles 1972-2004 replied to coasterking123456's topic in Trip Reports
They were installed in 2002. -
You see people walking around in bikini tops all the time. They don't enforce it. And I encourage it!

If the trains could stop on the old skid length before, there is NO REASON they could not stop on fin brakes in the same space... Ever notice all the empty space in The Racer tunnel? Just move the holding position closer to the station, add more brakes to the reduction run, and put the hills back on. Problem solved.
-
What, heavier trains couldn't make the final hill? If they would put some money into actual wood coaster maintenance and kill the trim brakes, that wouldn't be an issue.
-
Um. Don't fin brakes actually need LESS space to stop the trains !? Remember that one side was done a full season before the other.

Half Day (-4 Hours) Rental: $29.99 Entire Day (4+ Hours) Rental: $59.99

It shredded some of the LIMs off the launch and made the train jam in place.
