  1. Well I would also like to thank every one who went and had fun with out me. And to make things worse, I had to stay an extra day and will be coming home in about two hours. (That is to the airport, where I will board a plane for a 7hour flight home.)
  2. It is nothing like Superman at KK. It is very comfortable and uses the same tower as tower of terror. It uses a system like DT with a catch car to carry it up the tower. You should go and ride it, because it is obvious that you have not.
  3. Tallest Gyro Drop. The worlds tallest drop ride is in Australia at 377'. http://www.dreamworld.com.au/content/drw_2...?name=GiantDrop
  4. You didn't miss a thing. All that clearing behind the Crypt was actually a tea garden, what did they do with all the leaves?
  5. It's actually a suburb of Kings Island.

TombraiderTy, I think this is one of 3 things: 1-You are just trying to get another thread to reach 6000 posts. 2-Your a die hard ACE member. 3-You have applied for the Jerry Springer show and you are just padding your resume. (1 of those is a fun idea in my mind.)
  7. GG does many types of engineering, all the way from foundations, to portions of rides, full rides and all types of park structures, including water park attractions. Korey is a very talented engineer, he could be there just visiting an old friend, so who really knows. We will see on the 26th. (Still does not compare to the Diamondback teas and announcement.)
  8. Steel structure and wood track goes up a lot quicker than all wood. Also I think that we might see a new style of pre-fab from GG.
  9. Possibly, but I really think that news like that would have been reported on another web site by now. GG does have planes for such, just like any coaster designer would have. If it is what I think, it will be a nice addition to HW, no CC production but just as good. (The CC production part was a joke, before I get jumped.)
  10. What, did you people expect some one from Custom Coasters? hahahaha.

Most fun steel: http://www.rcdb.com/ig3685.htm The track was fabricated on sight. Favorite steel: http://www.rcdb.com/id2832.htm Just the height alone is amazing. (Oh and the launch system, as if I had any thing to do with it.) Most fun wood: http://www.rcdb.com/id1054.htm The break operators always have some thing funny to say. Favorite wood: http://www.rcdb.com/id67.htm Did you doubt me? Most fun flat: http://www.KICentral.com/history/photos/di...um=2&pos=46 Just thinking of my Mother. Favorite flat: http://www.KICentral.com/photos/displayima...um=66&pos=1 My daughter and I never miss it.
  12. Antique cars were never a do you want to ride some thing else line. Even if it were 2 hours in my book. We miss those that leave in anticipation for those to come. Comparing the two are in our nature, but only compromises a potential friendship.
  13. ^You had to post a close up of the trains didn't you!!!! Let the ranting begin....."Those are 4 across cars, not stadium seating". "Are those the actual cars that will be on Diamondback?" (Or did I forget the LAST rule in Journalism. Print first clarify later.) p.s. I would never be able to get a picture that close so clear, thanks Gordon. also did those strings in the picture have you cleaning your lens or what?
  14. Please do, I really enjoy the TR's especially when they have a personal feel to them like Gordon's and Avatar's....oh I almost forgot, pictures are nice too.
  15. Wow....In "CaddyShack" it only took a candy bar to empty the pool.
  16. ^How about Mustang or Crazy Horse? (Oh wait....Dead horse....beat.)
  17. For those of you that didn't know, ring°racer Wow Ring Racer sounds cool. That's at a race track I have been going to for about a year now every couple of weeks. I just hope the launch system they are using works. (Monroe, who likes to post inside jokes. Isn't that one funny Interp?)
  18. I thought it was gear oil for a Rolls Royce Merlin. (P-51 Cadillac of the skies)
  19. Yes, I've always wanted to be 25.......again. I mean age not post number, but post number will do.
  20. Sorry modds for the 4 posts in a row. Oh wait that makes 17.
  21. I'm going for 16, how about you?
  22. OK make that 15.
  23. ^Well at least 14 now.
  24. It is interesting that he left out the Cincinnati and Sandusky markets. I wonder, could it be that the guests in those markets have found other parks that are less expensive to attend, and allow more fun to be had? Since both Kings Island and Cedar Point apply trim brakes to their coasters to the point that they almost valley during the ride, and have obscenely high food and drink prices, maybe people are finally taking notice. I'm certain that people sit around and say, "let's not go to Cedar Point and Kings Island because of trim breaks." <G> I think that is absolutely the only reason I've NEVER heard anyone use for going or not going to a park. You are probably right, people don't sit around and talk about trim brakes directly. Most probably don't even know what a trim brake is. The point is, people remember how much fun a coaster was. Trim brakes take away from that fun. Let us suppose that you have two identical coasters at park A and park B, but the one at park A is trimmed and park B is not. Guests will remember that they had more fun on the coaster at park B. Back to the Bradys at KI, it should be an interesting day. I look forward to it. First off, what ride at KI almost valleys because of trim brakes? Second, most people would not know nor care if two rides are exactly the same, only enthusiasts care to that extent. Most people don't even know that there is a difference in all of the Superman rides. http://www.rcdb.com/qs.htm?quicksearch=Superman So to make a public comparison is really impossible. As far as people at KI that have "Noclue", you might as well tell me because I do not know who you are talking about. I am sure they would like to know as well, so they can find another job since you say they do not have a clue.

You need to change your name to "Noclue". (Man I'm in a bad mood today.)
