Cedar Fair looking to layoff spongebob and friends

^^All very true facts to be considered!! However, hopefully they can come up with something better than Kidzville!! I mean, even the spelling with the 'z' is insulting/pathetic enough!! However, I think thus far this season has (generally) proven that names are not all that crucial in the popularity of a ride (however lame such naming might be!), but when it comes to kids (and the parents!) I think the absent Nick theme will be FAR more noticeable!! Though, I am no research expert here, and will NOT play one on the internet! -
^^Especially if your little tyke likes Nick characters, then I would definitely suggest going this year!!

Cedar Fair looking to layoff spongebob and friends

For what it's worth, Kidzville at Canada's Wonderland looked beyond LAME!! As far as Nick U. going bye-bye, while I'm a 20's-something without kids (...yet!, likely), I do think losing Nick U. will be a big loss....BUT my business acumen in me asks this question, Terpy, could this be part of the negotiating ploy with Viacom?? Also, isn't Viacom under some new corporate leadership? I thought Viacom was run by Sumner Redstone's daughter, but I thought there was a shake-up there recently, and could the new people just have a different philosophy about the value of Nick branding, since it is undeniably very hot!! But it would seem that CF licensing Nick would have a lot of benefit to Viacom too, but maybe CF is just being too cheap....too many nickles, perhaps!? -

^^Knott's is too small!!!! Count me as someone who finds it a little creepy that I can walk from one side to the other in just 4 minutes!! At, KI (or CP, etc.) the walking is great exercise and part of the experience!! And besides....just down the street is the best theme park in the world!! (no, NOT DCA!! LOL....) -
I-Team Investigates KI Foreign Worker Program?

And that's why it was a mistake to get rid of the camping ground!!!!! If they were "housed" there, while they wouldn't still have transportation, you're merely a hop, skip, and a walk away from the Fields-Ertel and Mason-Montgomery Rds' retail areas.....now THAT'S what I call amenities!!! -
I'm glad the spray doesn't work anymore!!! It would cause my glasses to get unnecessarily wet IMO!
-
^^Too many people 'from these parts' wouldn't be able to fit!! That'd make the "new" Vortex belt look like a hula-hoop!! A (VERY roomy!) B&M hyper would be fine by me....

^^Really....I'll have to check out those books then!! Thanks for the quick response, Answer Man!

Hey, who was the guy with the shaved head talking on that National Geographic roller coaster special in 2006?? He was sitting at the bottom of SOB's first drop (little did he know months later the loop he bragged about would be gone!!). But he seemed like a KI enthusiast....

Anyone know if that hottie rode anything?? Maybe a Delirium or a Drop Tower or Inverti or Slingshot???

^^I concur, waits will average 1 and a half hours for the good stuff...

Next time I go to CP I am so filling out a comment card reading: "No Nickle Machines!! how else are we supposed to buy stuff?!"

^^Yeah, I mean, a loose belt isn't going to stop you from falling out if you were upside down!!

I've always found that after people have rushed to Invertigo when the park opens in the morning (after staring at it for 20 mins while walking through the parking lot and entering through the gates) that half of them then head to Drop Tower and the other half head to Flight Deck, making this morning line a little too long for my tastes and compared to later on in the day...
-
WOW!!! And I thought the Nitro restraints were a little too forgiving....those are just crazy unsafe looking! I'd feel better in most fair rides compared to that!
-
Wow! Firehawk only 10 mins? That's pretty good...I would have ridden more than just once!!
-
In my expert opinion, hit Drop Tower, Delirium, and/or SOB after Firehawk and FOF....people seem to all go to Invertigo and Flight Deck first in Action Zone in the morning.

For what it's worth, those still-standing TOGO stand-up's (pun intended) are fairly comfy rides, considering, and a lot more comfortable for me than some of the B&M's like Mantis and Chang....but maybe that's because I am a taller gentleman. Honestly, I might ride Mantis one more time to confirm the uncomfortable-ness and then retire from it unless they ever convert it to floorless...hahaha, yeah right!! While I love Delirium and would take it over KC, I do miss KC and wouldn't mind being able to ride it again...the TOGO stand-up's also have some good g's and airtime moments!

^^Ummmmm.....obviously you're not watching Nashville Star on NBC it seems!!

Now I’m confused. I was thinking about this more, and my guess is she did not literally mean she got there at the rope drop....heck, to her, 10:45 am could have been "when the park open[ed]"....in that case, hitting Invertigo at that time is horrible strategy and probably why the wait was long.... To minimize waits, I've always found the following strategy pretty good....hit Firehawk at rope drop, then do FOF, then do Drop Tower, SOB, and Delirium (or a similar combo), then go over and hit The Crypt and BLSC...I can easily do that pattern all before 1-1:30 pm on most days, even busy ones, and then just take it easy the rest of the day. I've always found Invertigo and Flight Deck to have smaller lines in the evening starting around 5:00 pm-ish, and Racer, Vortex, and Beast usually don't have too long of lines no matter when you ride.
