You guys see this? From the same article: New name Paramount's Kings Island is now just Kings Island. The park's new parent company Cedar Fair is dropping the Paramount name from all five Paramount amusement parks it acquired from CBS last year for $1.24 billion. Each year the park pays a licensing fee to Paramount Pictures to use the name. Cedar Fair will pay a buy-out fee to end the agreement but will save money in the long run, park officials said. Paramount-themed attractions like the Italian Job and Top Gun rides and Nickelodeon Universe will not be affected because they all have separate licenses.

Thats actually been up there for a little while now. And as far as I can tell, at 6:30 this morning. there is no direct link to that press release from the main KI website. Have we been playing with the URLs a little bit?

I rode that sucker in every seat to give it every chance in the world to grow on me. That coaster is just as bad as the mile long walk to get to it!

I rode it when it was brand new. I spent all weekend listing to Q102 to win park preview passes and finally I did! I went to the park, went right up to Top Gun, rode it and I was so upset with it! Total waste of a steel coaster if you ask me!

But do I see the "Paramount Stars" at the end of the fountain? Zoom in on it, I am pretty sure those the are the Paramount stars. They appear to on what looks like their bandstand area.

I would have to agree with this statement. One day at the park, I was standing in line alone for IJ 4 rows deep and they made an announcement that if you were a single rider, we could use the fast pass lane. Finally! I mean, how perfect does that sound? Use the fast pass lane as a single rider line! So I get out of line, get into the fast pass line and the girl tells me there is no such rule and that I have to get in the normal line to ride. WHAT? I tried to explain to her what I just heard but it fell on deaf years. I never did understand that one.

I would also like a Mt. Dew at the park, but if they have to keep Coke, would it hurt them to put in a Cherry Coke fountain as well!? I mean, COME ON!!!!

Thats a pretty sweet looking video! I love the little model they made. I cant believe how far that thing swings away from the track! No wonder the shocks would go out so often.

#12 seriously brought a tear to my eye. That is a very good rule to remember. I cant wait for our families to meet in the Summer Avatar! On media day, Dane and I were playing with the water buckets and as we filled one up, a guy in a suit and tie stood RIGHT BELOW the bucket. I am telling you, it was so tempting to just tip that bucket over and run, but we felt better of it. Thank you very very much for that detailed trip report. Was very fun to read! What always cracked me up about that episode was when Alice was standing on "Der Spinin Keggers" platform then the rides starts to move, with her STILL standing on the platform! She was not even in a keg! You would NEVER see that in this day and age.

Try comparing them with my hundreds of other posts. If you think I have a serious spelling issue, then I think you can address it here. Until then, I think it would be a typo. (Considering I was born/raised in Cincinnati and know many that have graduated from the school. You missed my point. Just about every thread on here has some one correcting another's spelling or grammar, don't you think that will and has gotten old? I want to come on here and read the comments about the topic, not if some one can't spell. So I saw this thread and I noticed no one has been corrected on any thing, just keeping up the tradition. Also I am a graduate of Moeller, so I do not care if you know any one or not. So you go ahead and do the one thing on these forums that your getting tired of seeing? I am having trouble seeing the point in that.

When I drove past the park for Great Wolf Media day, I could see a bunch of trailers in the KI parking lot.
