  1. It's new. The profits will go to keep this site on it's feet. Even with ads Aaron has trouble paying his bandwidth. If you like anything on there buy it.
  2. 500,000 is alot for something that most people don't notice. I never really noticed the water spots and stuff. I think that YOUR renovation FyrFyter would be millions of dollars. Than the whole area would look tacky with the rides.
  3. But those end in poor video quality because you shake. I think that the movies on coasters 2k, that the camera was mounted, that or the person who was filming was incredibly good.
  4. I think with alot of trip planning being done online people look up iteneraries (spelling?) of a day at the park. I think a guidebook would be a good idea, but just a way for people to spend more money. When I got older I'm going to come back atleast once a year for sure! I just wish everyone in the world could see our little gem, throughout MANY MANY years, I don't want people to crowd our lines lol.
  5. I do agree with you on the carts. I do like the placing of the candy shop, kind of like Lesourdsville Lake the first thing is a gift shop. Anyways, Coney Mall could use some renovation, but I really don't think they are going to pay to have it fixed right now, I think that the Coke shack and gift shop in Rivertown rennovation was somewhere around 500,000 bucks which is alot.
  6. I made over a thousand at Kroger maybe even 2. They didn't take out to much in taxes, more out of the union. I got my W2 back from PKI, I only paid out like 20 bucks, and my grandma says I won't get it back,s o oh well.
  7. Sorry about that The Other D. I figured that since Dank has had so many names that it would be him. Potato Works complains alot, especially about fries being burnt, too hot, too cold, unsalted. We get a lot of complaints. On carts you don't really cook food though so it's a totally different situation. I'm not saying I minded it, but I'm not going to be working there next year anyways.
  8. Well running 2 keyhole photos, and with the machines working hard all year it's a given they are going to have a little trouble towards the ened of the year. They must have printed out a good 500,000 pictures.
  9. Nope not in the park this season I'm sorry to say. I have accepted a better paying job with less hours. I really enjoyed my 3 months though. Todd told me he was probably going to maintainence ont he last day. I just hope I see him this year, he was a good guy. I take it Jeremy got fired? I didn't see him any after the end of June. He was a real jerk, I take insults well though.
  10. Hey Dank I worked in food, that is alot worse than ride oping I guarentee it. We have to talk to everyone we encounter, and if the slightest thing is wrong we get crabbed at more than you do. Enough flaming, but I honestly think hearing a couple complaints before the ride and having a full train of COMPLIMENTS at the end of the ride would be worth it.
  11. That is kind of funny. I think that PKI should tell you that Tylenol is in First Aid instead of selling it.
  12. Most theme parks don't have shows two years in a row that I know of. I didn't get to see the show, but I heard it was great.
  13. That I think would be possible. It would be something I could see in the future. Son of Beast, being that tall, really needs no theming, theming would kinda ruin it I think. I could see like some trees though.
  14. The lines aren't that long anyways, what's the maximum 30 minutes? I've never waited more than 5 minutes this year, and I don't see why it would be that hard to wait an extra minute here or there to race. Most of the time the trains are both in the station and both almost loaded.
  15. I don't think you'd get that bad of whiplash. I've held my head forward before and it didn't bother me at all. Anyways, heather I do think that would hurt a little, I'm sure it didn't feel good.
  16. Are you guys under 18? Last year I worked at Kroger's and did not have to file my taxes because I wouldn't have gotten anything back.
  17. CYoung I deleted your post because it was not relating to the topic. I've never met either of you SOB TOM and FOF, but I bet I will this year.
  18. I really don't think having a train in the woods torn up would help the ride any, I think it would scare people off, and would be a big mess to clean up, and an enviromental hazard, according to some people. I belive that The Beast and Vortex are better left unthemed as great rides.
  19. Actually I don't even think the park would led you film, unless you had some sort of device to secure it to a train. Thanks for the link by the way, the videos there are pretty good, alot of them move way to fast though.
  20. Changing stuff is just pointless though. It costs alot more money that PKI is going to want to spend. I think the lights should be replaced on all the rides (1,000-2,000 dollars probably) and the rides/buildings should be repainted. A lot more people are going to have to walk through there in 2004 if what we've heard is right .
  21. If you do make a movie of a ride hoping a park will use it make sure to not have on ride footage. You will definitely not get it used than.
  22. I think we can expect to have a dry run on April 5th. I think they will have it than, since the park is opening a week later than usual.
  23. Tod was the coolest guy ever. I talked to him for about 2 hours on Pass preview night. He really kept me in line. Jeremy was kind of a jerk, but I thought he was funny. Just hope to see as good of a crew on it next year.
  24. I honestly think PKI would make a lot more money if they lowered the price. It's just they are to expensive and most of the times bad.
  25. On Delerium's page there is a movie of Paramount Canada Wonderland's Psyclone. It is basically the same as Delerium, just a different manufacturer. If you want to see how it's going to work, go watch the movie. It does take a while to load though.
