  1. It would be nice of Top Gun opened the themed area again, and had the steam when it took off, but that costs money, and Paramount isn't willing to spend the money on it. They also would have to have another staff member to open the themed area, because you can't trust the kids down there.
  2. Wasn't SoB supposed to have a path go through the loop? If so, maybe they could have a path go to the OC through Action Zone and perhaps they could expand Action Zone behind Racers.
  3. Spongebob is alive and kicking, and I don't see it going any time soon even with the movie. Hey Arnold was a good show and no one just seemed to like it as much as the babies or the adventurers. Nick likes to kill off popular shows (Ren and Stimpy, Invader ZIM, Angry Beavers), but SpongeBob is the least likely to go.
  4. Just hop on Congo Falls to wipe away your stench, especially if it's a hot night.
  5. I don't know if they will be repainted soon because Kings Island is spending alot of money over the next 2 years redoing Coney. Maybe they'll paint them for 2005 too, but it's not as likely as Racers and the Coney flats.
  6. I got stuck on recaR one time in the brake tunnel. I was in there for about 2 hours and it was burning up. Nothing will compare to the time I was stuck on the top of Drop Zone for a couple of hours. They didn't even warn us when they'd drop us. It was the scarriest thing I've ever been through lol.
  7. Scooby is a Warner Brother's movie, sorry there buddy.
  8. Makes you wonder why no ones bought another Giant Topspin, oh ya because they are only up half the time. A Giant Frisbee is a good choice for any park because they have great uptime and have all the excitement of a coaster. Glad we got our first.
  9. Thanks Bomber, I was curious how things were going at BB. I'm suprised Tyson hasn't taken any pictures for a few days.
  10. I have a questiona bout the concept art, it seems like they were going to have a path walking across a waterfall. Too bad they didn't do that.
  11. Let me add my 2 cents. I like the taste of Larosas pizza, but god why does it smell so bad. I don't think I'd be too upset if another chain took over pizza in PKI, but I doubt that'll happen.
  12. Oscars is the employees resteraunt. Food is actually decently priced and pretty good. Where it is, if I told you, I'd have to kill you.
  13. Cedar Point really needs no need for a sign. There are no roads around it, except for the city streets, which are not being traveling roots like 71.
  14. I like both ideas, but with all that theming those could end up being our big 2005 attraction. I don't mind though, they both look like good rides. I think the Adams Family one would be more thrilling, but since it's a vertical drop coaster (it doesn't have enough people to be B&M though) it may be pretty expensive. Maybe we will get more than one coaster for 2005, who knows.
  15. Well considering I worked at Laser Web I guess it wouldn't be legal for me to play huh?
  16. Hopefully they'll actually theme it. Looks like Paramount will all be getting Star Trek rides.
  17. I'm sure Cincinnati's Metro Division pays PKI for it. I've never seen KI where it got that bad, if it got bad enough they would probably fill up the employee lot, I'm sure they have plans if something like this happens.
  18. I'm pretty sure Flying Eagles are more than you make
  19. As for being a journalism student at my local high school let me ask you a question. What is the news or point you are trying to get acrossed? As a journalist you should answer that question in the first paragraph of your article.
  20. Not actually 15 I was being sarcastic, I was still in their for about 10 seconds.
  21. As far as I know it's staying, I only did it once and that time I fell off and ended up getting cought in the current for about 15 minutes.
  22. The Partridge Family was also at KI once.
  23. He's talking about the ending brake run. There used to be a lot of rubbish that just kind of sat there.
  24. But Pat they give out water anyways. I think that is a good idea, but the QBot idea is horrible. Not unless they do it like CP. I don't like ride reservation systems. They make the people who don't want to pay wait longer.
  25. Tom that's not nessicarily true. Last Saturday was not crowded at all (the 4th).
