KI's Wave Pool is larger but not deeper and the waves aren't as good. KI has more capacity though. I do like the Beach's Wave Pool better though.
-
I would really like that. It sounds like a great ride not to sure about safety though. How are you restrained?

I'm sure he couldn't say if he wanted to. If KI bought some of the Surf Cincinnati slides than someone probably signed a confidentiality statement.
-
Because both parks have an International Street and that is an International Symbol. It also is a very good observation tower.
-
I heard it's not that bad. I dunno if I'd ride it looks painful although I heard it isn't and I am extremly scared of heights that looks like it'd kill me.
-
I'd say go for it. Keep in mind websites take a lot of time and resources.

I think the anouncement is next Thursday not Labor Day judging by Shaggy's statement on coasterbuzz.

This has nothing to do with KI so this is going to be closed. To add one last comment just because they give a drug test doesn't mean all of their workers are clean from drugs. My employer gives drug tests and 80% of the employees are on drugs.

How will new PKI Waterpark affect The Beach?
teenageninja replied to italianchef's topic in KI Polls
I am a 2004 Beach passholder. Why? Because it was 2 for the price of 1 and it is good for this year. Well worth my time/money. The Beach hasn't added anything since KI's Waterworks expansion. That ride (Aztec Adventure) is better than any ride in Waterworks. Hopefully this will get The Beach to add something next year. -
The problem with a lot of KI's land is it is pretty hilly and almost unusable, KI would have to fill in some of the ravines and stuff like that.

Since there is one more thing to be annoced
teenageninja replied to pki2005's topic in Coming Attractions
Welcome back INRaider. A Huss Delirium would be pretty nice. I wouldn't mind a Jump 2 either, but I dunno if anyone would wear a Topple Tower. -
You could not have a backup power plant that would be money worthy. KI doesn't lose power that often, and it would be a very expensive system to work out. Don't count on that happening soon.
-
I wouldn't get too upset. KI is so big that you can't really focus a Webcam on the tower and see anything of real interest. I heard it was to be brought back, but apparently that's not happening.
-
Must not have been too bad if FOF was only 2 hours. When I went last year it was like 3 all day.
-
We've been saying for a while that there probably won't be a coaster this year. I can almost guarantee it will be a wet year in 2004.
-
Well I can say that The Beach is much better, I went today and wow it is a lot better than I remembered. For one thing the tropical atmosphere and the theming (or whatever you call it) is very nice, and The Pearl (heated lagoon) is very nice. I think Water Works should be redone. It isn't that great and the slides are very painful which is different than The Beach's (smooth as a babys bottom OHHHH YA!) KI should definitely redo Waterworks massively.

I guess it could have sorry to jump on your case. But anyways please back on topic to Tomb Raider.
-
it wasn't free swinging, I was on it, they were trying to properly align the ride so the gratings could come up and the riders could exit the ride.
-
THat's happened a few times. It has to have something to do with the weight distribution I think. I don't know what the design flaw in that ride is, but it's bad.
-
I believe that that valley happened on one of the first test runs, I remember seeing on the news that it did get stuck on one of it's first test runs.
-
Maybe they are working on one of the trains and the track, I doubt it valleyed.
-
Attendance is going back up I'm sure, there are more BAFFD and also I'm sure Orlando wasn't 40 degrees all April, that was the main problem.

Magnetic trims on The Beast, one more question?
teenageninja replied to coasterfreak75's topic in Kings Island
It's too slow down the ride for the next turn, you would think putting it at the top of the hill (going up) would work better, but that would prone it to valleying, and that would be no good. That turn has been redone several times due to the stress put on the track, that is why we have a trim there. -
I'm not seeing that happen, but if they did I would be rediculously happy. I think S&S-Arrow needs to make it reliable first, that's the first thing that they have to do to sell more. I haven't hard anything bad about it besides it's reliability and a little roughness.

Well I would not take Dane's advice (sorry Dane) and avoid Action Zone at all costs in the morning. Start in the back of Coney Mall or Rivertown (although I think The Beast is the best and I'd save that till later.) However, you could start in Action Zone and start on one of the smaller coasters Top Gun. Just remember your 7 year old son can't ride some of the bigger rides such as Delirium, Tomb Raider: The Ride, and Flight of Fear. I'm sure he will be satisfied though. Have fun on your trip. Also there is a Magic Show called Spell Bound you might enjoy.
