D'oh! Scooby-Doo IS Leaving?!? ... Good-Bye Scooby-Doo! You were a staple for Kings Island and almost the park's mascot ... I'm still going to wait and see before I say my good byes .. I feel scooby-doo should stay and isnt Scooby-Doo & The Haunted Castle on International Street? the press states that it is in Nick U. Still if Scooby-Doo leaves I doubt I will get a pass .Scooby makes our trip to the park he brings so much happiness to my nephews and cousins,me etc.

Wow.All of that is dishearting I love Son of Beast I remember when I first rode it in 2000 I rode it with my father, best friend and little cousin. Sob certainly has had a hard time pleasing guests and another thing I reallllllly miss the loop and the new carts suck I miss the old ones.
-
Is that what you all are looking for? Yeah when I tried to look it up it had that Dominator listed as coming to Kings Island in 2010 anywho I had this snoop press release saved..gotta admit wont be to happy if Scooby-Doo goes.
-
Yeah I remember when IOA was in the concept stage I remember reading about the ''Gotham City Island''(Batman for all of you that don't read comics or watch the movies) that is now Marvel Super Hero Island. sorry for going off topic I just hope justice is done I mean our kids area is huge and I don't want CF to make it generic theme wise.

Your welcome I love snoopy and am kinda excited but I don't wanna give up my favorite mystery sloving canine! Yeah I love Snoopy and woodstock they are my favorties and as a Halloween lover I love the lighthearted fun of the great pumpkin and it's not christmas unless I see the christmas specials yeah pretty fun stuff.

Well I know Mickey Mouse is all over and he stars in Kingdom Hearts,Mickey Mouse Club House,House of Mouse. Anyways I got some facts on Snoopy and the Peanuts... - Snoopy has the most balloons in The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade ever with six balloons his current balloon is the World War Flying Ace. - Charlie Brown was on Nickelodeon at one time in a tv show titled ''Your on Nickelodeon Charlie Brown'' or in this case ''Your Replacing Nickelodeon,Charlie Brown!'' - Snoopy is the official mascot of aerospace. - Charles Schulz gave Loyola College Prep in Shreveport, LA the right to use the Flying Ace for their school mascot (the Flyers). - Snoopy has a new videogame coming titled Snoopy World War Flying Ace it's coming for the Xbox 360,PS3,Wii and DS,PS2,PSP in 2010. - Snoopy, piloting his "Sopwith Camel" (i.e. his doghouse), is featured in the logo of Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport. - A series of postage stamps featuring Snoopy as a World War I flying ace was released on May 17, 2001 in Santa Rosa, California. - Snoopy One, Snoopy Two and Snoopy Three are three airships owned and operated by MetLife and provide aerial coverage of American sporting events. - The Silver Snoopy award is a special NASA honor, in the form of a sterling silver pin with an engraving of Snoopy in a spacesuit helmet. It is given by an astronaut to someone who works in the space program that has gone above and beyond in pursuit of quality and safety. So yeah Snoopy is really popular and timeless I'm looking forward to seeing him and woodstock in the park in 2010 my only gripe is if they get rid of Scooby-Doo! which to me is a stupid fatal mistake.

Monday most likely- Sad that Summer went so fast it always goes by so quick and then fall and before you know it will be cold out and snow on the ground.

10 Year Contract agreement I'm not sure if it was extened in 2006 or not. -SDaTHC was added in 2003 so yeah 10 years...2013 again I'm not sure if KI extended the deal when Nickelodeon Universe came in 2006.
-
^^ That's sweet Yeah I remember when Scooby-Doo gave my nephew a hug he thought it was the real scooby-doo.
-
The Contract would be up in 2013 so I dunno I know it would be stupid of them to remove scooby doo besides the contract is with sally corp.Keep in mind if ''scooby'' leaves KI won't have a dark ride CF and dark ride not a good combo.

Mmm..Smurf Cone.. at least that's what I call the wonderful blue ice cream I love it and pcc I remember Quick Draw he stole my hat too.I love the peanuts but do kids I mean most kids haven't a clue who they are sure they know snoopy and charlie brown but do they really know them like they do Scooby-Doo and Nickelodeon?
-
That may have been a mistake..hence why they pulled it... Scooby is still highly popular with kids and adults these days Scoob has a new movie coming out a new video game and brand new series coming to cartoon network next year.I also see scooby-doo staying Cedar Fair would be stupid to take scooby away.
-
Really? raptor? When I was a kid I was thrilled to get a hug from Scooby-Doo a high five from Papa Smurf and even a handshake from Yogi Bear and I loved the Elephant fountain and the ginormous rainbow that welcomed me into Hanna-Barbera Land... I also remember the Smurf statues that were sitted on the benches those were classic even as pre teen I remember getting a hug from Tommy Pickles and Chuckie Fisnster from the Rugrats .. Kids do recognize that type of stuff ..theming..Characters they love..Rides themed to the shows/characters they love adds more fun to it.
-
Yeah my nephews and I always had to get a hug from Scooby-Doo when we visited Kings Island funny Scooby-Doo has been at Kings Island since the beginning it's gonna be hard for me to see him go *Sighs* Ah D@mn it!! D@mn you Cedar Fair!{if proven true scooby-doo is leaving}
-
No Scooby-Doo And The Haunted Castle in 2010!?!?! Grrrrr... First allow me to say this I love Snoopy always have but the thing is I love Scooby-Doo moreso what in the blue crap could they theme the Haunted Castle to? The Great Pumpkin? Snoopy vs The Red Baron? what would they theme the facade to Snoopy's doghouse? I'm not at all pleased to hear that Scooby-Doo may be leaving the park in fact I may not get a 2010 pass! Not because of scooby-doo may be leaving but do to my family see I always take my younger family members during the summer to KI they include my 2 nephews,2nieces,my 4 cousins and they love Scooby-Doo and the Nicktoons...To me Nickelodeon and Scooby-Doo are two major selling factors for me to buy 10 passes ... I'm gonna wait for the details before I get to p*ssed off. FYI-Scooby-Doo is Celebrating his 40th Anniversary this year!

D@mn! That coaster looks intense! Can't wait to ride it... and I miss Dale he was the king of stock car racing.

Funny thing I watched Rugrats this morning at 6am and 6:30am on Nicktoons Network yeah kids under 10 wouldn't have a clue to who the Rugrats are my little niece loves them she likes Tommy and Angelica.I think if Cedar Fair wants to get rid of the Nickelodeon rights they need to do it right our kids area is BIG so a Peanuts Universe would be cool or a Peanuts Comic Zone ... I will be sad to see Rugrats:Runaway Reptar go...unless they keep the Nickeldeon rights.
-
As I said before I have a 8 year old nephew and he loves Fred Flintstone & Scooby-Doo his eyes glow when ever he sees Fred Flintstone or Scooby-Doo at the park the only Nicktoon he cares for is Spongebob Squarepants and maybe Patrick. My little nephew loves Snoopy as well I think he likes snoopy more so than the Hanna-Barbera Characters I plan on taking him to Cedar Fair this Summer so he can see Snoopy and have some fun in the new Planet Snoopy. So in my view if Nick went away it wouldnt be a total loss and I agree with what woofer said 100%.

I watched the new bananna splits show the other day on cartoon network it's okay I seen 2 min clips on Boomerang as well I hear a CD & DVD is coming out and Hard Rock Park has a kids-themed Bananna Splits themed kid area called Bananna Splitsville. -BTW sad that Hard Rock Park is being sold off.
