  2. Ya'know I find Kings Island to be very beautiful covered in snow cannot wait to see DB as I pull into KI this spring I know I'm gonna be waiting a while but hey I waited 3 hours for Tomb Raider Opening Day 2002 so I'll wait for this.
  3. I'm all for another Bible Park I myself am a baptist I've always wanted to visit Holy Land Experience down in orlando.
  4. I'm so stoked dude THREE of my favorite cartoon characters will be in this year's parade! 1)Scooby-Doo 2(Smurfs 3(Snoopy! And Vortex dude I think Snoopy will replace Scooby-Doo & The Haunted Castle I mean the possiblies are endless for a Snoopy Dark Ride. And I reported The Smurfs being in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade a few hours before you did no offense glad you found that. Smurfs Topic
  5. Well my nephew who is 8 years old loves The Flintstones especially Fred Flintstone he loves to watch Scooby-Doo as well just like his uncle yeah he likes to watch spongebob squarepants who doesn't ? and maybe Rugrats or Fairly Odd Parents But honestly that's the only things he'll ever watch on Nick he says everything else is stupid and I might add he is bonkers for Snoopy I am gonna take him to Cedar Point this summer (09) for the new Planet Snoopy plus I wanna brake him in on some world class coasters.I seen a lot of Hanna-Barbera Characters at Howl-O-Fest a few weeks ago I took him as a reward for doing better in school and he seen his favorite characters Scooby-Doo & Fred Flintstone,Dino and the great yogi bear and much to my surprise velma was there as well it was really fun I hope they do it next year as well but I'd like to see George Jetson & Astro I didn't see them at all when we went.
  6. Howl-O-Fest was so much fun my nephew nearly crapped when he seen Scooby-Doo & Fred Flintstone,Dino he got his picture taken with em he had on his junkfood t-shirt with Snoopy on it(maybe if you went you seen us)
  7. I took my 8 year old nephew to howl-o-fest and I hear all kinds of crap talk like I heard a father tell his kids that scooby-doo and the haunted castle was a scary roller coaster!...wow dontcha think you should ride it first before you lie to your kids!?! then I heard a couple of punk teenagers at Halloween Haunt telling people that The Racer has a loop. The Freaks really do come out at night!
  8. I'm so bummed that swan lake is gone but happy that we got a new coaster.(off topic) I heard people taking while I was at howl-o-fest I heard them say that Nick Universal is gonna be gone by 2010 and it will be a peanuts-snoopy themed area for kids I wouldn't mind it my nephew loves snoopy.
  9. I haven't been on this site in while due to school & certain issues I heard about this coaster while visiting the park on that day not knowing a new coaster was going to be revealed I can't wait to ride Diamondback I'm getting a season pass just so I can ride it whenever I want.
  10. Haven't seen that one but I did see the one with the kids riding in the jetsons space cars and I started to think didn't they take that ride out?
  11. Oh man I have said it a million times I loathe Pepsi I don't care for that brand if anything I perfer Coke over Pepsi of course I hardly spend money for something to drink at the park those prices are jacked I do get thirsty I always ask for water it's way more healthy and filling.
  12. I remember being told that it was the highest rated concept paramount had in those surveys. Also was told paramount tried to get the rights to the characters but the lady who held the rights passed away and put the project in limbo. Awsome concept artwork I really wanted to see it happen but I hear Dollywood has it now as Mystery Mine.
  13. That's so pretty ..SDATHC looks kinda spooky covered in snow!
  14. Wha? I just watched a Hillbilly Bears short on Boomerang ... whats wrong with cursing under your breath? I do it all the time LoL
  15. Well said. I also pointed out the option to keep Nick in Nick universe, and H-B on international street. I believe KI is for children and adults of ALL ages. Alot of people from all eras love H-B, and the kids of today (especially 2-7) like Nick. I think KI keeping H-B around keeps around alot of KI history. H-B is still very much alive-LOOK movies are coming out. So WHY take them out completely? This would be the time to bring some of them back. Yeah I agree with you Hanna-Barbera is still alive and kicking with live-action movies coming out(Yogi Bear,Hong Kong Phooey,The Jetsons,Scooby-Doo 3),Tee Shirts,DVDs,Video GamesYogi Bear,Flintstones & Jetsons coming to Xbox 360 & Nintendo DS,Wii but some on this board will disagree with you I dunno why but I know my nephews love the flintstones and I dont watch that with them my sister in law told me that they watch it on boomerang same with the smurfs.I wouldnt mind seeing HB around again as long as that includes Captain Caveman I'm all for it Ugghh I remember watching Scooby-Doo & Scooby 2 on nick with my nephew not long ago....
  16. Yeah I know it was a huge fluke It was on side B when I rode it with my girlfriend,my nephew and best friend his g/f.I just hope we get a new movie I think they should make an Indy one.
  17. Nope it didnt run at all in 2007 but when I rode it the seats didnt move at all but hey if they couldnt do it right they shouldnt have shown it at all.
  18. The Hanna-Barbera 3D was/is a joke. Long live SpongeBob!!! Are you insane?!? Wait...Dont anwser that... The Fastastic World of Hanna-Barbera pwns spongebob it was 100% better when it was at USF KI didnt use the proper 3D effects or/and they didnt use the motion seats those are what was needed for the kick arse experience that it was the ride first opened at USF the KI attraction was luke-warm compared to what it was originally. I hope we get something new I like the spongebob 3D movie but man..it got old.. I liked 7th portal.
  19. Like I said before it's been LONG & BRUTAL I sometimes take trips during the off season to florida but this year no dice I couldnt afford to go that's why it has been BRUTAL.
  20. I cannot wait til KI opens I want see the changes Cedar Fair has made to the park during this LONG and BRUTAL off season.
  21. Well I'm not really into space fantasty stuff but if I had to choose I'd go with Star Wars! Because I love the those movies all of the movies! yes even the phantom mence & attack of the clones!?! I never cared for star trek.besides Vader is one bada$$ villain...
  22. Yeah I agree Transformers was a good film but the CGI didnt mash to well with it I also cannot wait for Indy to whip his way into theaters the first three movies are so astonishing and fun I just hope they dont use to much CGI in The DARK KNIGHT.Another Live-action film I'm worried that wont blend to well is the upcoming live-action Jetsons movie( 2009) & Yogi Bear(2010),Hong Kong Phooey(2009) But to stay on topic I think both HB & Nick should stay at the park have the HB characters(The Flintstone,Jetsons,Yogi Bear) people know and love roam International Street and keep Nick in Nick Universe...I still dont understand why most you on this board think Nick is 1#...Spongebob sure more popular than Hannah Montana! Besides those characters are at the park for families and kids not for us grown-ups who go to the park with our girlfriends and boyfriends...I'll admit I love seeing Scooby-Doo but my 7 year-old nephew enjoys seeing him more than I do.
  23. Very well said king_cobra_27 I myself am a HUGE Animation buff (I love Certain HB cartoons,Looney Tunes,Nicktoons,Disney,Certain anime cartoons)as well as a big comic book nerd hey I'll admit it! Congrats! I never seen Ratatouille I'm not big on Pixar. I like the traditional hand drawn animation more than the CGI stuff but thats just me.
  24. Maybe we will get lucky and Cedar Fair will extend the contract on certain HB characters.
  25. Yeah because paramount parks wanted to use characters that they OWNED i.e.Nick and Nicktoons characters.Gordon's right kids of today are different however I'm sick of hearing that Nick is 1# and thats what kids know and adore..I mean kids also watch Disney and visit Disney Parks and Cartoon Network they visit six flags as well...Cedar Point has Snoopy for crying out loud! I read the news over at ToonZone.net that for the past 3 months Disney had been beating Nick in the ratings for children ages 5-15! Hell,I have a 7 year- old nephew and he would rather watch scooby-doo & Tom & Jerry than watch spongebob half the time.I agree with gordon 100% all kids are different these days some of the younger set have no clue who Fred Flintstone is but WB does promote his image (I know Junk Food Tees has Flintstone & Jetsons shirts coming out here soon) ...also it wouldnt hurt the park to mix it up and have the popular HB characters greet guests on International Street.
