Anyone else notice the kigear link on the visitkingsisland.com site is no longer there?

I just went to visitkingsisland.com and the link to the OnLine store is gone...... Same is true for the Cedar Point website... Why???

The information I mentioned I found came from Reddit and in the /rollercoasters group.

Well I got a text last night from my son that said The Beast was closed Thursday and riders were evacuated. They apparently started doing track work right away to fix some issues. He sent me an aeiral picture from above and the segment and it shows new track wood on it. Not sure if this is the only spot but apparently it is a track related problem and they are working it.

The supplier is SpirngDot and they serve ALL KI website online orders. They are near downtown cincinnati and you can call them and order and pickup if you want. See bottome of KI online store page

My daughter wanted a small snoopy and they ran out early this season. Kept coming back to park and no avail as no new stock. Well I saw that the number online to call for SpringDot is 513-542-4000 (ask for Halanna). They said you can order online for this at CP online store or Carowinds as they have them. FYI, Springdot is the store and in cincinnati that sells them. So I asked if I could just order one and pickup since close and not pay shipping. Yep. Went there, got it and no problem. So if you live local, Springdot office is near downtown cinti and you can call directly and get online stuff there. Going back again for a couple CP pins and one more KI pin .

So I keep reading of people getting cancellations for their reservations. Do they even have an updated official opening date yet?

Does the test seat hold true? I know someone who tried it and could not get the clicks

Does Orion have larger seats on certain rows like they do on other coasters and if so what rows?

Just got the email that Soak City will be open this year. Interesting note is that you must make reservations....unlike the rest of the park.

Can we only hope for the 2022 season, they try to bring back some original look and feel to the park. It would also be great to add some old flats to the field behind Orion (like a Lost Kennywood area)....

So every other Cedar Fair park has their web cams up (even now ) and active. Will KI ever put theirs back on line? Why are they really off?

Does anyone know where to get copies of roller coaster blue prints for the coasters at KI? I have tried City of Mason municipal bldg and Ohio Department of Agriculture (ride and safety). I asked KI and they said the two I tried. Anyone know who to try next?

Do you think they and other Cedar Fair parks will go back to reservations for visiting the park? I have gone this past year when it was in place and when it wasnt. I preferred the reservations...

I know I have heard people have gotten them before but want to know more. Is it possible to get copies of blue prints of coasters at Kings Island? Can you get Beast, Racer, Mystic Timbers, Orion and such and if so how and what does it cost?

We went to thee park today and they were just taking orders (no product on hand). Told they would get around January. So how many pieces were sold at the end?

Anyone else just see the Cedar Point twitter saying they are requiring reservations from Oct onward. Hear the park crowds have been bad. Wonder if this will happen at KI?

I read on twitter yesterday he had issues with his publisher and now looking for a new one. Sorry to hear. Make sure to post lots when you get that deal and when the book will be for sale.
