well with that info it could be a very long time to see it up because we all know it has to be put up, then has to be operated, i'm thinking 2-3 monthes.

well ya know that the ride is old lol. Fixing it up is always a plus for any ride. Glass elevator would be cool, but i don't think they'd make a glass floor for it.

they put new seats on DZ? Hmm wonder why they'd do that, oh well, improvement is always nice.

i would definitely join in making that petition . Seriously, i think my night ride on The Beast was the most unbelievable coaster experience out of every one i have ridden, and i've ridden 115 coasters. It is so amazing, it's something not to miss.

sounds like a good day, don't you love those days when you get multiple rides on a few of them, no complaints from me ever. But having Vortex, SoB, and Face/Off closed seems a little odd, but obviously they were for a reason. Nice TR man, thanks for it.

wow i almost forgot about Beast's 25th b-day! I totally agree, i think it needs a better present then this, but i think people will still enjoy The Beast as much as it did 25 years ago.

that is really neat. Must be cool to see a float from an Amusement Park at a baseball game, make sure to tell us if anything cool happened.

was there really, wow that is weird. Just thinking about the rides not operating for a while in the park is weird. Did any of the coasters stop when it occurred?

LaRosa's, some good stuff there, love it at every Paramount park.

i thought PKI was a beautiful park when i visited. It is so different from any other park i've been to it's amazin. All of the Paramount parks have grown on me and i kind of wish PKI was my homepark because it looked very well upkept in every section compared to other parks.

well i bet you had no complaints! I went to SFGAdv last summer and they closed early because attendance was below 2,000 after a huge thunderstorm.

well it's just the beginning of the 2004 season so we still have a long road to walk until finding out more info. Personally, i think the Addam's Family rumor sounds the most possible so far, but it's just a matter of time before we know the truth.

likewise what andy said, both the best in the park. My vote is in and lets see which way this goes!

matt is right, Volcano's launch is amazing, so i'm going with intamin LIM launches. Air Launches are almost too intense althought they are cool, the LIM launches are smoother and are enjoyable. But i'm hitting Storm Runner in May so we'll have to check out the Hydrolic launch, then we can officially decide!

well i guess that answers our question, there was a lake before Vortex was put there!

amen to that PKIBeast, i have ridden both kinds of flyers, the B&M and the Vekoma, and i do say they are both pretty cool experiences. I prefer the B&M version because the restraints don't crush your chest like the Vekoma versions do, and they are much smoother. I think the B&M version is worth 1 1/2 hour wait at the longest, they are pretty good.

lol well it took me like 2 minutes to figure out, but that's ok. I too really like Tomb Raiders theming as well, even though the ride broke down and we had to leave the line.

yeah i wanted to do that last time i went to the park, but my parents didn't want to spend the extra money . But it does sound cool and really does help. Unfortunetely, SF doesn't do that.

great to hear this, does PKI do a coasters thing for passholders? Because tonight my homepark SFGAdv is doing a yearly thing called "Coasters After Dark" from 5 pm to 10 pm at night. They're doing it for season pass holders this year. Then of course the park officially opens tomorrow!

definitely agree Tanner, it isn't easy to make a site like that, and plus it's new. It's something people have been looking for and they got a nice and better looking site now.

well it depends on what PKI is looking for. If they want inversions, then obviously they'll go to B&M, but if not they could still purchase a B&M Speed coaster or of course something spectacular from Intamin.
