  1. I must say, despite Spongebob's cheesiness, it was one of the few AT films that didn't scare me at all. 7th portal certainly did a good job of that.
  2. Out of all of the ones on the list, I liked Days of Thunder best. Maybe it's because it was the first motion simulator ride I ever rode, or the first brand-new pki ride I rode (when I rode it). I don't like Spongebob at all, because it is anti-climactic and stupid. I really hated smash factory out of all of them, because that one was dumber than spongebob, and it almost made me sick. There was too much going on. Those who know me, know that I have a strong stomach when it comes to rides- that one over-did it.
  3. Shortest, Fastest, only Jewish- wait...
  4. I agree with Hoskins. I have felt that sigh of relief once entering the gates. It feels like all of the burdens of the world have been lifted off your shoulders, and you(and many others) are in a state of relaxation. It is still like that, even when I am an employee. It is still not a regular job for me, because everyday that I'm there- is an Adventure. Kings Island knows how to capture a person's feeling of relaxation, and add fun into it, to create a quality experience.
  5. Looks like most of the songs on that CD play in I-street. I'll try to compile an I-street song list sometime, when I have the time. If anyone has any good tips on the song list and order, let me know.
  6. Yeah, PDG is from my school. We're pretty proud of them.
  7. Go Pinstripes! Go Prarie Dog Gangsters!
  8. I normally hear park guests asking if they can test ride a ride that is down. I understand that they are anxious to ride the ride, but some people don't really take safety into consideration. Of course, people who sneak videos onto rides also fall under this category...

    Crowds

In my opinion, there are always times when pki is crowded in the summer. The only times when it isn't, are on REALLY bad weather days and the last few weekdays in August/September. People are normally in school then, so the crowds are almost non-existant. Oh- and the park is barely full right before closing at night. Guests normally leave for home about as much as an hour ahead of closing time.
  10. Apply for rides, a lot of really cool people work in that department!
  11. Yeah, I suggest No Limits. I saw a pretty awesome re-creation of pki's FoF on it- it was VERY close to the real thing. EDIT: I take that back- I'm a lazy bum who doesn't always read the first post.
  12. I'm not sucking up. I just happen to like sparky.
  13. I'm pretty sure it's staying. I have no resources that say otherwise.
  14. There may be a chance. People quit all the time. I had the same problem as you a while ago, except I didn't turn 16 until the end of July- and when I went to apply again fro rides, I was turned down. The person who took my application was not the nicest of people, and had turned me down when I was 15, and told me not to apply again until the next year. She never gave me any other options, and I didn't have to take the math test back then, nor did she give me any reason for why I wasn't hired. You just never know. Good thing this one person isn't there now.
  15. Now you're dissing my other job- that's not nice. I happen to like being there, with all of those mostly intelligent visitors. plus, it's open year-round. That way we don't have to deal with idiots that think they are so special by riding kiddy coasters and making ride simulations. Whoever thinks otherwise should be shot.
  16. I personally think it sounds stupid. Are we really THAT desperate? Geez, pki opens in less than two months, I think I can wait that long, rather than having to hold myself over by entertaining myself with simulations and kiddy rides. Well, I can't go anyways, I'm working at cmc that night.
  17. I personally don't think that it will suck to be on the Delirium crew this year, because there won't be much of a difference in riders. People will still ride Delirium for a variety of reasons. It's Giant Frisbee love, baby!
  18. Okay, you are looking at a very miniscule view of the park. I say this, because you can't see much of Rivertown at all, maybe a small view of The Beast. TRTR is next to The Beast, hence, it isn't in the picture. It is still there, don't worry.
  19. Half of them are Andrew Lloyd Weber pieces.. some of the best that ever existed in my opinion. I agree. I really like his shows- and they are better than Sondheim pieces of sh*t...
  20. I admit, I had my little gripes about being put on break just as the parade started, and having to work out how to get to oscars without crossing through the parade, but I think it was a really good parade overall. I miss the music, and all of those people dancing and smiling throughout hb- it was one of those things that still has me remembering and smiling about every little aspect of my summer.
  21. Biplanes have already been removed.
  22. You guys would be surprized. Water maze (slime zone) is extremely popular, and has a very high capacity nearly every day that it operates- except for really really cold days. I really don't see watermaze leaving, it is fine right where it is. Just for the record- it is not out of place, because it is just a few feet from the walkway to boomerang bay. You can see the sign from it's exit. Besides, watermaze is perfect for sissies like me who think that the waterpark is too dirty/gruesome(b/c of some ppl)/filled with pee to give relief from the hot weather-without having to trek over to AZ and stand on the bridge of Congo. Of course, something could be said about every ride and how it attracts 'certain' kinds of people, because the same thing was said about scooters and tiques- but they were removed anyway.
  23. Pki is one step ahead of ya, bud. They have already put fastpass lanes into a lot of the rides. However, only gold pass holders can use fastpasses (Walk on Weekends), and it only works on specific rides. Last year there were a bunch of rides that all the gold pass holders with WoW passes automatically got. Rides like Delirium and Drop Zone were the passholder's choice. (Either Delirium or Drop Zone, you couldn't have both.) I think that from a non-passholder's perspective, this is slightly unfair to those who only visit the park once or twice a year, and have to wait in those super-long Saturday lines. However, pki uses it as an incentive to buy the gold passes, as they get more benefits than the usual guest.
