  1. Oh, no... not Days of Thunder... they played that same movie for about three years straight, until we all got tired of that same old crackly film, and you always end up winning... Gotta be spongebob. I haven't seen any change yet.
  2. Plus, last year, my last ride really was The Beast. I had the second to last ride of the season. The crew working there was great, and the ride(depite it being a little cold and wet) was AMAZING.
  3. You don't quite have a choice for wussies there, I don't do fearfest. That is probably my only weakness, besides my fear of banana peels and dolls. I once went with my boyfriend and my best friend two years ago, and I ended up closing my eyes the entire time I was there, while my friends did the attractions and the "Scareoke" thing.
  4. I never knew snapping was almost a sport, until I joined pki as an employee. In that case, I better go ride them a little bit more. I scared the heck out of my 7-year-old and 4-year old sisters. Snapping comes purely by accident to me. Now I'm going to do it purposely. (sorry I'm not there today, I had a very bad fever last night, so my parents won't let me do my opening shift this morning), but I'll be there tomarrow.
  5. I don't know much about the PF, but maybe that sign was there to welcome the visitors in a friendly way.
  6. I don't do it very well, because I get scared after a while, but you lean the car to a hard right, then switch, until you almost stop while the ride is going, and then it snaps, and you feel a burst of speed and wind in your face, and the longer you do it, the faster it will go(or so it seems).
  7. The Beast, because it lasts for a long time, and that drop and the smell of wood is unbeatable!
  8. you can say your response and why you chose it here, you know.
  9. Mine was technically The Racer, but in that same day, my dad pushed me on The Beast, The Vortex and king cobra.
  10. Argh! I hate it when guests smoke in our lines! I once even caught people smoking in slingshot's line, but that was easier to detect. Every time I do my nightly broom and pan thing at the line q, I pick up at least 5 cigarette butts. Some people just cant listen or read, can they?
  11. Those are really awesome pics! I know I havn't been on the Eiffel Tower for a few years now, but as I looked at those pictures I wondered, how in the world did you get those awesome closeups? I mean, you have close ups of some rides in HB land, and I don't think you can see it too well from the tower... Good work!
  12. why would you want the music? doesn't it run on the same track over and over again?
  13. Ahhh, I remember Slime time. It's first year, it was only a little green fountain in the ground, saying "Slime time coming soon". That next year was the greatest. It had games, REAL slime coming out of the GS-thingie, their shows were cool. (I remember, this wierd scientist lady....) anyway, they had slime showers, and a slime river, and of course, the water maze. Ahhh, it was sooo much fun...
  14. Water rides are fun, but I won't do slides, at least with my family around. For the past few years, I have done wipeout beach for a while, and it's fun, but I won't step foot in the kiddie pools. Not when I know what those kids do in them. I don't do wavepools either. Don't you hate that feeling when you are about to get on a ride, and the person who got up had a wet butt, so your seat is wet?(not counting TRTR, Thornberrys, or CF.)
  15. I voted Beastie, because the old Beastie looked like a smaller version of The Racer. When it got it's new paint job, it was amazing! Who doesn't like purple and orange?
  16. Wood: SoB Steel: Vortex non-rollercoaster- Sling Shot
  17. No comment on the sex thing. If one was sexually active, go play in the wavepool or fountain. Nothing turns a person on like rushing water. I think I'll stay away from those places while and after ur doing it...
  18. My scariest moment was about 2 or 3 years ago. I decided to go on drop zone by myself, because my parents are unusually proportioned. The ride went up, then it got stuck at the top for about 15 minutes. I was afraid of heights at the time, so I hypervenilated for the last 5 minutes we were up there. I never went on drop zone since. btw, has anyone read the book, "The Beast"? It's kinda short, but it invoves pki, The Beast, and a huge tornado.
  19. Even though I work on Delirium, I vote SOB. It's HUGE, it's wooden, and it is one awesome roller coaster. It's first year was a little rickety, but it made it through. I think this coaster is here to stay. The reason why I didn't chose Delirium, is because they had to tear out King Cobra to put it in.
  20. Glad you enjoyed it! If you came to Delirium around closing time saturday, you probably saw me. I'd say nearly everyone who rode came off happy.
  21. DeliriumDreamer3 or griffin girl1245
  22. I worked a closing shift on easter sunday. (Lucky me, I'm Jewish!) It was fun and cold! But I am glad to hear that the guests had a lot of fun! I saw a ton of rides on slingshot, maybe because of the buy one, get the other passenger free deal with the free video. I don't know, the main thing is that the guests had a lot of fun, and that is what counts.
  23. Potato Works is the best! Everytime I eat there, I make sure to get a big cup of cheese, and just sit in the shade, and relax. I love their hot potato wedges and hot cheese sauce. Unbeatable!
  24. The seats look the same, I can't tell the difference.
  25. Blech! I kinda don't like the whole "hollywood" theme. It does make guests feel extra-special, in a weird kinda way, but not all of our rides are linked to movies. In fact, I liked the older pki website better. It was simple. They should put up the Eiffel Tower cam, though. My dad and I used to see it at least once a week when they had it up.
