no water dip in new coaster?!?
I thought the same thing when I first heard of Diamondback having a splashdown. Since when do Rattlers like water? Did anyone at KI take this into consideration when coming up with the name/theme?

The Official Diamondback Thread
The splashdown in Swan Lake looks nice, but since when do Diamondbacks like water?

The Robbie Knievel Jump in a Nutshell
Did he technically jump all 24 trucks? It looks like from pics that he only jumped 19 while the remaining 5 trucks weren't actually jumped because of the ramp over them...

sky ride question
Thats awesome! Did they sing the songs "Wait till the sun shines, Nelly", and a particular little number that went a little something like this: "Hello to Yogi, hello to BooBoo, hello to ____too, Barney and Fred say hi," the rest I can't make out... The singing shrooms near the skyride at King's Dominion in the movie Rollercoaster are shown singing these songs

Another Sneak Peak: Flight Deck, Invertigo Signs
Flight Deck's sign looks nice, except maybe for the choice of font. Anyone know if they're keeping the fake radars?

Both sides of Racer going forward
What is Cedar Fair's reason for turning recaR forwards? I thought having the option of riding both forwards and backwards gave two different ride experiences...

CP's webcams
Only thing I can see wrong other than the broken cable and the ice-covered cams is the fact that the pics are dated Thurs. March 6. I didn't realize CP's cams could film the future.

(Serpent from Americana) Roller Coaster Coming to Kochville Township, Michigan
I live about 5 minutes from 'Kokomos'. It's a cheesy family fun center that features indoor golf, arcade games, pizza, the usual family fare. I haven't been there in years, but they never had any rides to my knowledge and having this new 'Serpent' coaster might spruce the place up a bit. I wonder if it will be indoors, allowing for year round rides. The Zyklon coaster which is a permanent fixture at the Saginaw Fairgrounds but is only open 2 weeks out of the year, so any coaster riding in Michigan has to be done at Michigan's Adventure which is not in the best location for most Michiganders. I'd pay 6 bucks a ride... especially if it can cure the winter blahs!

Zodiac question
I have always been fascinated by Intamin's 'Double/Triple Arm Wheels', like KI's Zodiac. Though I have never seen one of these rides in person I have seen footage of the ones that used to be at Great America and Hersheypark. Those were triple armed wheels, as Zodiac was only double armed and from most pics I have seen it looks as if the whole ride is stationary and doesn't rotate except for the wheels themselves. It looks as if the two wheels move up and down while rotating, but not the main boom itself like the triple arm wheels do, providing spinning in both directions? Hard to describe what I am talking about without having some pics to upload, does anyone have any info on the great Zodiac?

Would you be upset if they turn the backwards racer around
It would be a little pointless to turn backwards Racer around, as both tracks would then have the same ride experience. Turning one train backwards was a wise move by KI
