Why is it that everytime the news does a story on GL, they make it seem all doom and gloom like it's going to close? Their attendence was up last year even though we had a shortened season. If CF would lighten up and bring back The Haunt, then we could get the numbers and people wouldn't be all "GL is closing tomorrow because they took out two coasters..."

Mabey they can rebuild Hydes down there next to Demon Drop and give KI another record...the worlds only racing Free Fall ride.

Really? Almost everyone up here knows about Kings Island and they all know that X-FLight is being shipped down there. I would think that with it being the mega Six FLags park a few years ago, people would know bout it.

I wonder if the S Turn will look something like the one on Chiller. I do know one thing, if there is an S turn put there, the G-Trains won't like it very much so they will tear the hell out of your legs.

I highly doubt there will be a new coaster for the next 2 or so years. This is CF and they don't build two coasters in two years(with the exception of WT and TTD). You will probably see some rethemeing and a waterpark expansion seeing as most CF parks are or have recieved them in the last year.

I agree, Dollywood is one of those few parks where its worth the price of admission.

Does Vortex have the newer Arrow trains where the restraints are released by the control panel or the old ones where they're released by pedals.

Just look at pics of X-FLight or the other two Vekoma Flyers construction pics. It's not like anything different is happening to FH.

DL at GL dosen't have seat belts. I agree with some people. I feel unsafe when riding some Arrow coasters because I still don't trust them restraints. Plus with the accident a few years ago where the ride OPs didn't lock the restraints on DL has me weary of riding it without them.

It would be a COMPLETE waste of money to buy G-Trains for one season then go and buy EXPENSIVE PTC's for the next.

Thats sweet. Hopefully the wait won't be as long then. At GL x-flight had some long lines with 2 stations running That dosen't mean a thing. When I rode Batwing, one side had problems so they switched to just one station adding another hour to the wait.

Oh, I noticed that most older coasters that run classic 3 row PTC's usually only have 3-4 cars per train.

Those have been around for a while. I think there are three running(one is being built as we speak).

The trains themselves arn't the real problem, its the restrain design. If they had the T style restraints like MF or PTC, they would be WAY more comfy and less brutal. Right now, its pure German steel grinding into you legs and thighs at 70 mph.

I agree it is. They are in no condition to build another park. I mean in the last 3 years, they sold almost 8 parks(?) and building another one would be suicide with parks like Universal, Disney and BGE.

I doubt it. Villian hardly ever uses both trains as it is(Not even during the high times back in 2001).

The Loop on X-Flight beats any other inversion on any current B&M Flyer.

Though theres more of a chance that you will fall into a puddle and drown then fall out of WT. At least with WT's location, and if the wind is blowing right you could get a nice cushion landing on the sand next door.

I made these for what I would like to see in the future to come: Now, i'm not talking about a Giant Frisbee or a Drop Zone type but I could see a frisbee(whether it be Chance or Zamprela) and a launch/Drop Tower.

MIA only brought in 19 Million why Geauga Lake brought in 26 million.

And it is. It may be in the second running for lowest brought in but its a step in a good direction from the Six Flags Era.
