^ Why are you mad? When you plan a trip... You look into these kinds of things. Not one day in advance. If you go next year I recommend staying off property. My favorite motel in all of Sandusky is The Maples Motel. I love the staff the owner and they are nice people. The owners son even drove me and my sister to CP. My mother is allergic to well basically everything and she broke out in hives and he was kind enough to drop my sister and I off for a little coaster ridding. The town of Sandusky has many little cafe's and little places were you can get a bite to eat for little money. But in the future I really recommend this motel they are down the street from CP they are clean and friendly. Maples Motel Click that link for future trips. They even have free fresh donuts in the morning.

There is a lot to do at this park. The park can get pretty busy during the summer. If your kids are little the heat can get to them pretty easy Riptide is a good way too cool off. And I highly recommend the chicken dinner. The park itself is very family oriented. But I even after 14 visits I find the park pretty big. Xcelerator has only one train running and don't expect CedarFair operations when it comes to dispatching trains. The park is easy to navigate and you should really have no problem.

This makes me a little sad. I haven't been to KI in a month or so because of work. I really did love this ride though, my sister and I both had a blast on it. We loved the fog effect too. It actually scared my sister she wasn't really ready and I guess got scared and she hit me with her gun. Funny none the less...

I love Huss, thay make some of the best flats... But their parts just wear and tear so easy... I wonder how expensive it is to run a Intamin or a Huss attraction?

I agree with you go to Knott's, CF can run a beautiful park if they want too. And Knott's is that example. I have to say it may be my favorite park period.

Knott's my favorite CF park and this just is my opinion. Knott's has seen two coasters back to back. There Halloween Haunt blows ours away. There themed areas blow ours away. Their shows blow ours away. Plus they are actually a "Theme Park" While ours... not so much anymore. They have a awesome Intamin rocket coaster. And a smooth B&M invert. They have seen many aditions. Maybe it's just me being so close to KI that I have gotten tired of it. But in my opinion Kings Island is clean. And thats about it. I love the park and I hate to be so negative... I uselly am not by the way. But in my opinion the older CF parks just look better. Knott's because of the theme. And Cedar Point because of its location. I mean Kings Island is a great park, but has just lost some of it's touch. I feel bad for voicing my opinion.

All I have to say since your last visit you have been traveling at the same speed on The Beast.

I think Viacom did the best. CBS was a mess; and Cedar Fair is just "okay."

All of this is not right. Why can the city just take the land. They have a contract. California's Great America is a great park. It's pretty and when I went in June of 08' it was busy and they have a good little collection of coasters. Except Vortex... That hurt me in areas that I didn't know could hurt that bad. But point is... Contract.
