^ Thank you Mr. Gator/Educator
-
^ But his point was he doesn't like the names, no one our age understands them. And we are 15, 16, 17 etc...
-
^ They mentioned it in 5&5 not too long ago. That they have no intentions of stopping the annual fireworks.
-
^ That has been a tradition at Kings Island since the park has opened...

^ The fact is, it's competition. You could even say Cedar Point is competition. -
2009 Attendence at Major Parks
TH13TEEN replied to PhantomTheater's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
La Ronde is competition. It's one of the other major parks. Cedar Point is a 4.5 hour drive for me. CP is KI competition. HW is a 5 hour drive for me and is also KI competition. Plus La Ronde is adding a new coaster for 2010. In my opinion a 6 hour drive isn't that bad. La Ronde also has a "okay" set of rides. The same goes for Canada's Wonderland. Point is I don't think it's fair to count La Ronde out of the game. -

KIC keepin' it real, -
The props (statues, signs, etc.) will probably be removed as soon as they start being vandalized (I'd be shocked if some of them are still there at the end of the season). The paint will fade, and the ride names will still suck. Here's hoping for us to be bought... You have got to be kidding me...

Platinum pass holder, plan on Michigan's Adventure, Knott's Berry Farm, Kings Island, and Cedar Point... But hey anyone want to take me to Kings Dominion that would be fantastic...

They have built a couple B&M inverts that I think have stole the spotlight of Raptor. One that comes to mind is, Flight Deck at California's Great America. Granted CF did NOT build this coaster... But Flight Deck is so intense the only con is its short.

LOL, I don't bring a brush. I just deal with coaster hair.. I'm a ride warrior, not a princess. If I do decide to wear makeup, I make sure it's waterproof to last through the day (I have Clinique eyeliner that stayed on even after riding DB in a downpour!). I'd rather spend my time running to DB than constantly worrying about my appearance.. it's an amusement park, not a catwalk. I just bring necessary items: a hoodie, deodorant, sunscreen, phone, camera, Blistex, season pass, debit card, gum, contact rewetting drops, sunglasses, and a little medicine. I also bring a granola bar sometimes, and I don't go anywhere without my Starburst! I also bring a sealed Ziploc bag if it starts raining and my camera or phone is in danger of getting wet. These items barely fill my bag halfway.. I don't need to carry everything and the kitchen sink. Oh I guess thats just my sister then...

^ Browntggrr, My mom loves to check in... I have a pretty big cell and I don't like the feeling my cell gives me in my pocket. It's not like we carry around a bag on our backs for looks. I am forced to even bring band-aids because I have a blood issue. I mean little things sometimes. Like Giga said also girls like to bring along brushes jackets you name it. My sister would bring her bathroom if possible. Plus we teenagers worry about "looks" I don't know why but we do. SO that is my complicated anwser for the day.

One word... Parents.

I have to agree with Nick. Worst opening day I have ever experienced. I agree with Nicks "thoughts" and I'll add onto it. I bought a Float from the Ice cream stand, in Action Zone. The guy tried setting the float on the counter over the Soda machine, and dropped it on my foot. I do think its funny that both Vekoma inverts valleyed. I seemed to also have bad luck with getting in lines for rides that would break down, right when I got to the station. I hope I win The b*tchiest post award" It would be my honer.
