Auction at Holiday World
SANTA CLAUS, Ind. -- A southern Indiana amusement park plans to auction off hundreds of surplus items this weekend, including an antique circus truck and bumper boats. Saturday's auction will be at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari in Santa Claus, about 35 miles east of Evansville. Hundreds of items will be auctioned, including electric scooters, professional kitchen equipment, costumes, Christmas decorations, theatrical lighting, old license plates and an antique oxen yoke. Holiday World President Will Koch says the theme park's clutter could easily be someone else's treasure.

The Son of Beast Discussion Thread
I was on screamscape today and seen this. A trial will begin this week involving a woman claiming injuries received during a ride on Son of Beast during the incident in 2006 which sent 27 riders to see medical attention. A second case involving another guest who rode at the same time as her will also begin in early November.
