Hello my name is James and I am a KI addict.

It is really nice to see pics of the park when I was just starting to go there. I wish I still had all of the photos my mom took of me when I was introduced to Kings Island.

I think it will be cool because I tell my kids that I rode Racers forward on both sides and now they can tell there kids about riding it backward.

Posted this in the other thread, too; but there are no coasters at Kings Island known as The Racers. Never has been, and to my knowledge, that isn't changing. I was meaning the (RACERS) not (The RacerS) . Sorry for the confusion.

I don't remember if the description on KI website had that one side ran backward but this is what it says now. The twin-tracked Racer is a traditional wooden out-and-back coaster and credited for re-igniting the coaster building boom in the early 1970’s, thus beginning the second golden age of the roller coaster. To honor The Racer’s staying power, the American Coaster Enthusiasts named this popular ride an “ACE Roller Coaster Landmark” during a ceremony at the park last year, making it one of only 14 coasters in the world with landmark status. In addition, The Racer is also notable for its appearance in the Cincinnati Kids episode of The Brady Bunch, filmed at the park in 1973.

I'm glad to hear that Racers will be running both sides forward. Hopefully they will try to race them more often.

The only flaw I see with S O B is know tunnel's.

Cedar Fair acquired the trademarks owned by Paramount Parks when it acquired the parks. Only those things that were licensed from others could not be included, and must be negotiated as licenses expire. The Action Zone trademark, not unlike The Beast, is doubtless now a Cedar Fair property. I think the Action Zone sign was taken out last year.

If they change them I hope they are like CP website.

I would give them a B+ or an A- just because I always think there is room for improvement.

Ryan I really appreciate all the hard work you and the KI Central staff do to keep us up to date with are favorite park. We can't wait for the next KI Central day.
