Is there something wrong with link or photo? You can take the link or just save the pic to your computer =) And sure.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I might do some cropping on the pictures for some closer looks at the lift/track.

At the event, Mr. Helbig said that the trains had been in a hiding place on KI's property for a couple weeks, and they should be going on either by the end of this week or next week. Also, you can't test the ride until the trackwork is complete, (check) electrical work (not sure), and that's about all I know....testing should be in March or so, I think it was said. I can't remember.

Yeah, I didn't really get a chance to walk around and meet everyone....I'll be back on the 21st, though!

Coke > Pepsi Coke Zero > Pepsi Max Cherry Coke/Vanilla Coke > Pepsi's version. Subway was great too!

Here's my take. Ready? Go. Oh wow, it's been quite a while since I've seen these two. Suspended....ICICLES! The Lobby of the GWL...now home of the Diamondback Model. Waterpark....THROUGH THE WINDOW!!!! Woah woah woah....there's a coaster in there? My credit count goes up one. 'Okay....so you can either walk through the North Pole....or drive over and walk half way through.' We walked. Oh yeah, we got to look at the new coaster, too. It starts there....then goes allllllll the way overrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr here. [ Invertigo's looking nice....blah, I still don't like that name. Face/Off! Face/Off! Face/Off! I tried to hold it in. Diamondback communicates with aliens by using those probes on the side of the lift. I can't wait for this hill. What we're all here for...well, i think. We'll get to meet Diamondback eventually. Diamondback....THROUGH THE TREES! Ryan, our KIC leader. Thanks for the event! Gordon's all...'grr....I never get any face time with Don' The lift's the thing that stands out the most. A close up. Diamondback can be seen from everywhere. A very beautiful coaster....beautiful. Time to switch lenses. Kings Island's International Street still covered in snow. Signature shot. Tag yourselves. Some parts of the International Restaraunt. Create your own name tag. I see junior wooden roller coaster 1. Sign covered in snow. Vortex popping up over the frozen trees. It's all about Diamondback. Nick Licastro of Boomerang Bay and park cleanliness. He claims KI strives to be the best...even over Holiday World. Best of luck! Robbie giving a history/info lesson on CI and KI. KI looked pretty much ike this all over. It was really fun talking to different people from KIC's forum. Thanks for the good time even though there was some improv needed because of the lack of the Diamondback tour, and I'll be back on the 21st.

Maverick owns Cedar Point. All Mil.F has is a fantastic drop. Probably the best in the world.

I love R.L. .....but those are two of the worst books I've ever read.
-
Aw, okay. Because me and my friend were getting our hopes up for an off season KI job!
-
Driving by KI, I saw the sign read, "Snow Land, Coming Soon" Anyone have more info?
-
They can stop the trains on the hills to either prevent an accident, space out the trains, or simply to wait for the other train to clear the block breaks/ready breaks. Pretty normal, used to happen to me all the time, but operations have gotten better.
-
Oh no! Poor Red Beard guys... 2009 will be such a great year for Kings Island. A lot of good news here. Thanks guys! -Zach

Oh, I gave Diamondback a big hug =) He was cold =(

^Yup, I saw Firehawk with a one train op and the line out of the station...hahaha NO WAY!

Ha-Ha-Ha, Karen! It's so funny you said that because I did end up scaring some of my friends who are in the games....it's just in me! I will never step a foot in KI the same after experiencing Haunt 2008 <3

Cemetery has mass love for Karen! <3

Ha, not you Rachel. I was poking at Paul and some other guys, just messin'

Well, it was the last day of Kings Island's 2008 operations. Sad, sad, sad. I was already sad enough Haunt ended, now KI is gone for a few months! But! We have the amazing new hyper coaster Diamondback to look forward to! Here's what I did in about two hours at KI. Got there around 5 and got in line for Invertigo and thought I'd work my way around the park. I walked on to the front seat! -Still one of my favorite rides at KI, along with inverted coasters out there. I always underestimate this ride! The loop is about as forcefull as a Batman clone, and the cobra roll whips me around! Makes my head spin, ya know, in the good way I'd have to give it a 8/10 Walked on over to Drop Tower. -One cycle wait, just missed the one I was walking to. Felt bad for the ops having to deal with these three little girls going on and on and on about the littlest thing, having the ops buckle the belts and pull the restraint down. Come on! After Intamin nearly blew me over I picked my seat of choice: 34. An amazing ride, as usual. <333333 10/10 I got my end of season ride on Flight Deck/Top Gun last week, so I didn't ride this week. I still really like that ride, Arrow kicks major butt. -So I wandered over to Son of Beast, walked on up and waited a train or two for the back seat of the red train, talked to my friend who was operating. Not a bad ride, similar to last week's adventure....pretty smooth for a SoB ride. Good airtime on the first drop, drop into the bowl was decent and overall just a big, fun ride. Nothing special but just plain fun. 7/10 It was about 5:45 by then, and the sun was starting to linger over the horizon...yay turning the clock back! -Red Racer was up next, had to wait an extra few minutes so the op could run up the lift an take a camera from a guest who was trying to get a POV. Seriously guys, don't even go there. We had to wait an extra 5 minutes for nothing. Front car, third row...excellent as usual. I'm very happy with The Racer, I know some are very against it being turned around, but I love it! 8/10. Got off and walked on over to X-Base, finding Firehawk with a one train op for about a 20 minute wait. I'm fed up with that ride and its operations. Maybe it's just me, but I can never get it on a good day. Sure, the ride is nice, but I don't like the operations. One train ops on Firehawk are just under one train ops on Beast. -Flight of Fear was up next, with nearly no one in the station. Saw Dane and his crew (sorry, I didn't recognize anyone else!) And I got two rides, one in the back car, and one in the middle. I've been going in the front seat for a lonnngggg time, and I've got to say that the back seat gave a GREAT experience in the cobra roll and sidewinder...was just great. Middle was fantastic as well. I think it's my favorite coaster at KI. 9/10 -Vortex was the next on the list, and I walked into the back car, my choice seat. Awesome airtime on the first drop, grey-vission on the loops, and corkscrews are great fun! 8.5/10 -With time to spare, I stopped at Backlot. Saw Dane and the KIC group again (I dubbed myself the Theme Park Review group ) and rode in the backseat and the front seat. Dang, I always underestimate the power of the launch and helix! Makes me feel like jelly. Front seat has nice airtime. 7/10 And finally, The Beast. It's gotta be the last ride of the night! Oh, I saw a bunch of nerds waiting to be the last ride of the night out in front I went on in and got two rides, second to last train (#1) and sat in the back middle car, and backish car. Great night rides. You just have to love a night ride on The Beast. Just mezmorizing speeding through the woods the way it does. 8/10. I wish The Beast would be able to give some airtime =( I tried to wave to Mr. Helbig, but he was too busy taking pictures of the last train Thanks for a great season, oh and operating, Nemo! Great MC of The Beast tonight. Can't wait for next season, -Zach

Nice seeing you tonight! -Zach

I'm going up today. I should be in my "Haunt Crew 2008" sweatshirt!

The monsters at the Wall on Friday nearly outnumbered the people!

Horrible capacity on Urgent Scare compared to Club Blood? Hm well Urgent Scare is massive and is probably the longest at a 15-20 minute walk through. Club Blood is about 5 minutes.
