    New track?

Doesn't that seem like a bad idea? It seems to me B&M has a better plan having Clermont Steel manufacture the parts here for US coasters. Why would you ship massive track pieces overseas considering fuel prices?
  2. Mmmmmmm, me thinks ya don't know me so well. Ohhhhh, I gairrawwwnnteee that you are getting more babes on the back of your bike as well. - Let's hope it stays that way. <G> WIN!
  3. While in the past there has been a lot of abuse of the disability policy, I can tell you that this year it has greatly improved. Having personally taken someone around the park who has a disability and is wheel chair bound, I learned first hand how the system has greatly improved. First off, you can no longer just go up to the exit of a ride and hop on, you first must visit guest relations and receive an Attractions Boarding Pass. There at Guest Relations, my friend notified them of his physical limitations and they helped him consult on what would be recommended for him to ride and what wouldn't, then you receive your Attractions Boarding Pass. This pass allows you to go up the exit of a ride, however, once you get there you must present the pass to a ride attendant. If the line is under a half an hour they will let the person with the pass and one additional rider (until this year it was three additional riders) board the ride. If the line is over a half an hour they will write you a time on your pass, stamp it, and you are free to come back at that time (Note: you can not have any other active times written on your pass when you go to get a new time, in essence: you can only wait in one line at a time). Now if you have more than 2 people in your group, you can have your group wait in line while the person with the pass and one other wait at the exit, then just notify the ride operators and they will help you all get paired together, thus everyone waits an equal time. I was really impressed with how the system was executed this year. My wife was wheel chair bound for 4 months after foot surgery..when we went to Top Gun we were told they would stamp that paper and we could come back..which we told them never mind...who wants to make two trips clear back there. Maybe if they had an employee at the entrance of the queue. For rides with long lines (not waiting time, but physically long) like WWC and Flight Deck this would be a great help. Who wants to walk that distance four times?
  4. How about malt liquor? lol

  5. Wow. That's impressive. I have a friend of mine is about the same weight as me but about half as tall. It makes me sad when I can't take him to KI.
  6. Wow! Very nice! I'm impressed with what this program is capable of in the right hands. Is all of I Street out of your memory? If so, that's very impressive.

I was really impressed with how the system was executed this year. That's pretty cool. I'm glad there's a system of checks and balances. It seems rather well thought out. It's also probably a good thing that they cut down on the number of accompanying riders. That helps to cut down the incentive for working the system.
  8. I AM too big to ride. I can't ride most of the "best" coasters at CP, like MF, TTD, probably Mantis now, and many more. I've only gotten to ride MF and TTD once and that was a squeeze. That was back when I was 14. I've always been a big guy. I'm not a morbidly obese person but I'm a very large build. Luckily I'm tall so that counteracts the weight and wideness. If I lost weight I doubt I still doubt I could fit on any of those rides. My ideal weight is around 250, I'm 335. That's my goal though. I want to be able to ride MF and TTD again. My mom promised me if I could fit on TTD again she would ride it with me. Trust me, I'll hold her to that.
  9. Exactly the reason I added it!

    Long Lines

    Seconded.
  11. Me too, ferris wheels freak me out. I don't know why, I mean I'll ride any roller coaster you throw at me but there's just something about ferris wheels.
  12. It seems like there was a webcam on Delirium. I remember seeing photos of its construction.
  13. It's sickening when people get wheelchairs just to get to the front of the line. It's almost like they're mocking someone's disability or using their disability to their advantage.
  14. ^Okay, scratch that then. I haven't even been in that area yet this year.
  15. I never got to see the clown band but from what I hear it was quite nice. KI could use some live music. It really seems to liven things up.
  16. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think the smoothie shop is staying open throughout the construction. I seem to recall something saying that.
  17. That's what I was thinking. Maybe they're testing all this out to see if it goes over well.
  18. Why does having a splash down make you think we're getting a dive machine?
  19. Wow, that's pretty exciting. I wonder if the HB characters will be staying around permanently.
  20. Crap, that's it. I debated on how to spell it for a few minutes.
  21. I am not argueing anyone's study...but I recently was diagnosed with bi-polaar disorder at the ripe old age of 42 and was put on zoloft. I had the same issues in high school as I do now. I smoked tons of mj back then..and it helped me through some of the roughest years of my life. My doctor even told me...off the record...I should consider smoking it again if it helped me that much. But...with the neo-McCarthyism going on in the workplace...would not be a wise move. Hey, whatever works for you. No one can cookie-cutter us and say something works for everyone or nothing works for anyone. I say do what helps. Italian Chef, perhaps you'll remember after we share a bag of Funyuns.
  22. Wow, that's a pretty cool deal. I wish I could go, I would actually do this.
  23. You just proved your own point. Which meat would you say is the most healthiest? Healthiest Meats So it seems Bambi is the Winner. Serve Him Up....... Wow, this really sucks. I just got my tonsils taken out Wednesday. All I can eat is pudding! I want some meat!! You guys are killing me. What no ice cream? Yeah, ice cream, but it's getting really old. And Woofer, I would almost go for Spam as meat right now. Anything! I'm desperate. I've been eating, it really hasn't affected my appetite very much, just what I eat.
  24. Columbia Palace had just the best fried chicken that I'd ever had in my life. But then, when it was a full service restaurant, the gormet burgers were pretty awesome, as well. But then, the ribs were always tasty. With the Grill House you could smell the Ribs all through Rivertown. And why can't we bring that back?! That's exactly what KI needs. A signature restaurant.
  25. That probably wouldn't go over very considering the whole Tower Johnny incident. That reminds me of the skeletons in the boat. Anyone remember?
