Totally go for it. Look at it this way, you aren't going to get hurt, especially not by the first hill. Just think about something to take your mind off the drop. It's over before you know it. Then you'll be off through the woods having fun.

The trims are not turned up or down in any fashion. They are the same on any given day. plus imo the magnetic trims add to the roughness of the ride, i say this because when you are going down the first hill of The Beast and get up to speed, then you crest over the bunny hop after the first tunnel and as soon as you start to lift out of your seat to get air time you hit those trims and it throws you forward and jams the lap bar into your stomach. As far as I know, no magnetic brakes are used on The Beast. They're just pneumatic.

I'm actually considering going to this. I haven't gone for years. I love the fireworks. I might have to bring a 2x4 for the crowds and a snow plow for the car lot after the show's over.

^ In a way I agree and in a way I don't. I think in certain cases the ops have decreased in quality. However, I don't think so much at Firehawk. I think they are quite friendly and in a couple of cases, entertaining.

All stand ups can hurt. Try riding a bike with 4 g's.

Probably true. I don't have any room to move so I generally don't get beaten up at all. However, some of my skinnier friends get thrown around like rag dolls. My only advice: Eat Mor Chikin.

I would say you're probably right about using the ravine twice, might as well squeeze all they can get out of that area. I would guess that they wouldn't do a second drop, just to avoid redundancy (The Beast is right by it, you know). Oh, and welcome!
