  1. God forbid an employee take the extra step in his job to learn something about the park. Maybe it's just me, but I would want to be as informed as possible about the place I work at (especially an amusement park!) just in case someone would ask something like that, or even simply to have that information to myself.
  2. I was there for that too! That was hilarious! I was on Viking Fury and someone was on his phone. The ride op came across the PA and said, "Please put away your phone." The man didn't respond. "If you are currently talking on your cell phone, please put it away." He continued talking. "If you are wearing a blue shirt and are talking on your cellular phone, please hang up!" He kept chatting. "SIR, PLEASE!!" The man looked around offended and red-faced, then stowed his phone.

    May 30th!

There aren't any special events, but keep in mind, it's a Saturday. The park gets pretty packed on Saturdays. Also, schools are getting out that week, so you may see a bigger jump in attendance.

    Spitting?

I absolutely hate when people spit in public. It's a sign of low class and disregard for the park. I was in line for Beast Friday and was treated to a sort of special olympics. A group of basketball d****s with Burger King crowns were trying to spit through a hole in the station floor... after drinking a red ICEE! Ugh! They missed every time but once, resulting in a pile of red saliva coating the highly populated front seat queue area.
  5. Well color me disappointed. A ride on the Crypt was always a requirement for every KI trip for me. I can't really say I didn't see this coming, though. After all, it's been constantly going downhill. This off season they didn't even repair the broken scenery! I don't even think they vacuumed the queue area! I'm beginning to wonder if "they" know something we don't. I'll call it: try hard to enjoy your last rides on the Crypt. We won't be seeing it much longer.
  6. I fourth the shout-out. I had a great time for the short amount of time I was there. I'm already looking forward to next year!
  7. I shot a few clips of Diamondback's splashdown and the first drop yesterday. They're on YouTube in glorious hi-def. Not too much of a point here, I was just wanting to try out this new camera's video feature. Watch the video on the YouTube site for HD.
  8. "Honky Cat" by Elton John by Bubba Gump's. "Rocket Man" by Elton John around I Street and Action Zone.
  9. I plan to enter this, I want to give my new camera a whirl. I'm looking forward to seeing what Ronny comes up with.
  10. They aren't user names (but one ), mainly, they're attraction names, some are shows, some are food, some are adjectives, and some are numbers. Everything relates to KI in a way. Some more clearly than others.
  11. Goofy, I was going to ask that too. For anyone who has ordered my design on black, does it look okay?
  12. ^ I think the longest part of the wait is exiting from the ride and circling back through the queues.
  13. Thank you, I also ordered one of yours. I can't design logos like that, so I'm impressed.
  14. Firehawk drives me nuts too. I'll usually pass it up when I go. We went Friday and the only wait was half an hour for Firehawk. Ugh. We waited two minutes for Diamondback, which I unfortunately couldn't fit on. Doh.
  15. I was actually considering the KIC part on the back and a graduation shirt-esque Kings Island Central down the front left side.
  16. I wonder if it'll turn into a Gold Pass Speed Lane or something.
  17. I nearly gagged when I read that.
  18. Heh, a lot of time spent with the text tool and a PDF of the park. All of it is in different cases of Century Gothic. Ah, okay, that works for me. It still makes an awesome desktop background and now I can buy a shirt that I would actually wear to KI, i'm happy. Thank you Dane and iChase Of course! Thanks for the compliment. If you need a different resolution for your background, let me know.
  19. I'm glad to get the opportunity to do all this. It certainly was a labor of love. Thanks for the votes and compliments, and once again, congratulations to LMHConcepts.
  20. Thank you! I was wondering when someone would notice that.
  21. Vector, I had to have it scalable. Give me a second, I'll message it to you.
  22. Great jobs guys! LMH, congratulations. If you would like a larger or different sized version, just message me.
  23. Congratulations on finding it! I can only imagine the sick feeling you had. Those things are rock solid. Kudos to the train crew.
