  1. I'm definitely planning on using (and making friends) with the test seat. I appreciate your optimism. I'll probably do anything and everything to fit. Terpy, you raise a valid point, I couldn't imagine what it would be like riding some of these rides as half of my current self.
  2. Great, the more I read this topic, the more my heart sinks. I'm really starting to wonder if I'll fit at all. I'm 6'4" and 330lbs. I don't have a prayer on MF or TTD, so I'm starting to freak.
  3. I think the massive hills of DB are advertising enough. But I do appreciate all the cool things they've done with the ads. Very creative.
  4. I too would like to thank the admins for quickly jumping on this. Bravo!
  5. The Touch IS susceptible to viruses, it is a slimmed-down version of Mac OS X. But it is capable of running viruses. There aren't any out currently. But that doesn't mean some sicko won't write one. I clicked the link, but I wasn't notified of anything downloading, and nothing downloads on Mac without asking first. But to be safe, I'll be keeping a close eye on my network monitor. You can never be too careful.
  6. Back in '90 Flight Commander and Rushing River at BB. Although, in all probability, they were probably added before I was born in September.
  7. Okay, a majority of these are frivolous. I know I fall off treadmills every time the lights are turned off. Ugh. Some of these have merit, but the rest are ridiculous.
  8. Tick another one off for redundancy, it's definitely quality over quantity. Don't keep posting just for the sake of statistics. Contribute to the forums and you will be accepted regardless of your post count. Sometimes I believe it would be nice to do away with the post counts all together. I'm getting sick of seeing these "I reached x amount of posts OMGOMGOMGOMGBBQ!!" I just ask of you, capitalize, spell check, proofread, and punctuate. If you can manage these, I look forward to your stay.
  9. I hear that. This will be a better year for everyone with gas around half of what it was last year.
  10. Very true, I'm thinking that. Hopefully it turns out that way. I know I fall into the latter category. Weather isn't going to stop me.
  11. I'm actually pretty thrilled to see weather like this. I'll definitely be there.
  12. King Cobra was my first looping coaster, I miss that ride.
  13. ^ I agree completely. Society has become so sue-happy that everyone has to be careful. It's just a method of getting easy money. They see a place they perceive as having money to spare (KI) and see potential sue points (no seatbelts) and create a rousing story resulting in a lawsuit. Ugh.

    food prices

I've been tired of food prices at KI for several seasons. But last year was when I really felt it. I realized that I was spending in the neighborhood of $30-$40 every time for food. I just can't do that every time I go. I'm going to be freakin' broke after food and gas this season. That being said, I still have to have my traditional food at KI. Funnel Cake and fries in Rivertown, a lemon shake up from one of the carts, a blueberry ice cream cone, and a chocolate milkshake from Juke Box. After I get at least one in the season, I'll usually stick with free water and restaurants outside KI.
  15. ^ Which is another point. Why is there American country music in a German building in a German area?

    food prices

I know! That bugs me. I came wanting something involving chicken, ranch, and a garden, and left with $12 worth of tuna on wheat.
  17. I still worry about Vortex's restraint failing in one of the corkscrews. I'm always on click one or two, and I'm a little overweight, so...
  18. Sweet video! Thanks for posting. I don't know if it matters or not, but, will the constant barrage of water be detrimental to the track?
  19. Hah! I caught that too.
  20. No, I don't believe so. At least never that I remember.
  21. With any luck 30 or more. I'll be leaving for college in Florida in August, so I have to get the most KI I can.
  22. Perhaps she needs the settlement money for liposuction. iChase, just sayin'...
  23. ^ I agree. It has taken away from the tranquility and the old time feeling of Rivertown. However, I think the trade off is worth it. I know the landscaping team will do something amazing to the area to make it feel like the good old fashioned Rivertown.
  24. Wow, what a surprise. I'm gone for two days and the splashdown has been filled. This is awesome! I can't wait to see the splashdown area all landscaped on a nice late spring day. Now that will look awesome.
  25. ^I agree. Perhaps we should attempt to go with something fairly like flight and planes. You know, like something one would associate with Flight Deck. I may be being too logical though....
