  1. I miss PT for one reason, I really enjoyed yelling at the animatronic figures and the floating bell hop! I am not a fan of SDATHC so I would rather see a fusion of PT and Smurfs, lol.
  2. I got a 23/25 on your quiz Gabe. I liked it very much, nice work. There were some really easy questions and others that made me use me noodle. Great Work!
  3. 1: Drop Zone 2: Delirium 3: Viking's Fury 4: Monster 5: Scrambler
  4. Face/Off HAD On Ride Photos, I have no clue why they have left us, the booth was there on opening day but now it's gone.
  5. I do miss the old costumes but I understand why they are or have left us. Times change, I grew up with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tail Spin, and the 80's Jetsons (Quick question what was the name of the white creature with spring legs). I remember going to, then KI and seeing them around HB land. If you ask a kid now who Cobra Commander or ever Nickelodian's Inside out boy is they wouldn't know, but they do know the charecters they see like Donnie, Chuckie, and Arnold. Just think about this, we have seen our idols come and go and so will our children, they'll be talking to each other about how much they miss seeing Dora or Jimmy Neutron at the park.
  6. Oh yeah I forgot to put this in my first post, I would also love to have Delirium in my backyard, wake up look out of my window and see the massive arm swing by hearing the screams of my friends. I would also put on lights like Psyclone's to where everyone near by could see it swinging at night!
  7. Well my reasoning for picking TR:TW for the most complex is becuase while the parts of the ride are simple IE:Water shooting up, lights flashing etc etc, there are numerous effects that must go in order along with the rides own program. Getting them all to work in order probably took a while to do and also the ride breaks down quite frequently, those are my reasons for my opinon.
  8. Let's try to keep this topic nice and simple and not let animosity run wild or let reality affect your post. The one ride that I would love to own from PKI would be King Cobra by far. I loved that ride so much, I loved the way it sounded all ricky running down the track, the grease/oil/diesel smell it had and the unique color scheme. I could ride KC for hours on end I don't think that I would ever get tired of the air time, positive g's in the loop and highly banked helix, and my personal favorite part of King Cobra ... the trick track.
  9. Well maybe people are refering to SDATHC as being complex because of the sheer amount of sensors there are. I agree with Sob Tom though, allthough there are a lot of sensors they aren't timed or sycronious at all, just a simple hit and react system. I personally think that Tomb Raider : The Wait lol is the most complex ride in PKI.
  10. That has got to be the second greatest costume I have ever seen at PKI, My favorite is still Jabberjaw. I think that the Patrick costume is preatty acurate but not perfect. One question for the Entertainers, is this the first year for having entertainers at the enterance in the morning, I don't ever remember seeing them there that early. Also when you work in the costume is the worker following you around also a costume entertainer? Just woondering, thanks for the nice picture.
  11. Is the elevator that is inside used for maintance purposes as well or is it just for that worst case scenario? Also, I have seen some on ride videos that people have taken while on DZ and there was something that puzzled me. Since DZ's brakes are natural magnets how come the person's camcorder didn't get all multicolerd and screwly like your tv does if you bring a magnet by it. I wouldn't like to be stuck at the top of DZ, that would suck really bad.
  12. I am personally getting sick of all of the KC topics lately, I mean the ride was fun but with TOGO gone and no parts for it why would PKI waste money on it. I am probably the number one fan of KC and I even realize that it's gone just deal with it.
  13. I see your point's and I agree about how not everyone gets the same thrill. I am just glad that we are able to discuss this without immaturity. I am a fan of Delirium and like the thrill it gives but what I am trying to say is someone would have to be dead or have had the ultimate thrill to think that Delirium isn't one bit thrilling.
  14. I have been reading a lot of posts and a popular argument is the Delirium does not give me a thrill. Now how does one define a thrill ... is it Air Time, Speed, G-Force, Inversions, or how about theme (Tomb Raider). This is how I see it, every ride is differnt, Backwards Racer gives a great Air Time Thrill, where as Forwards gives a great G-Force thrill. Now they are differnt thrills but are they both not indeed that thrills. Now on to Delirium, one can not say (Who has ridden Delirium) that that 4 G's you pull at the bottom of the swing is not thrilling. Delirium may not be a ride that you come off with an Adrenaline rush like Drop Zone or a laughter rush like Viking's Fury but it does give a thrill non the least.

    Top Gun

Aside all of the debate of what his post meant, I personally think Top Gun would be cooler (Not to say better or more effecient) if it had the Air Plane trains that other Suspened coasters have.Air Racers Plane Style Train
  16. I have waited 40 mins with a full main queue, but every time other than that was no more than 10-15 mins. I really like Delirium's overall wait because one it's not too long and two the queue line is wider than others so there is more room to move or stretch.
  17. It was just a simple typing error that's all. I talk to my dad about when he used to go to PKI and he tells me about how Racer used to have packed lines, be red white and blue, and have a final bunny hill where the brake run is now. He also told me about how the Festhause has evoled over the years from serving German Cusine to Pizza and Burgers. Also he said that there was origonaly a resteraunt on International street that would make hot dogs from scratch.
  18. Wow 32 years old, KI has gone from 4 coasters to 12 and is the worlds best Kid Area two years in a row. The Park has seen Disco to Techno, Vietnam to Iraq, and 100ft tall rides to now oveer 400ft rides. Happy 31 PKI!
  19. Unfortunatly I don't have or know any place for pictures of Barvarian Beetle but I do know it was either a stock Preston Zyklon or a Schwarzkopf Wildcat. Look at pics of Coney Island's Python or CP's Wildcat to see what it was like.
  20. 3.5 Hours for Tomb Raider because it had broken down and I waited in a full queue for it and to top it of when I rode it the ride crapped out so I was there for about another 45 mins to an Hour.
  21. One thing I noticed from this Sunday was a lot of the queue line TV's are faded and the speakers don't work well any more for instance DZ's Tv's you could hear great but I didn't hear them at all Sunday. I would like to see the Tv's fixed up and some new content played on them.
  22. Well I have E-Mailed the park many times and Mr. Mandt has allways treated my questions with respect and I really apreciated that. i am glad to see that he will be moving up in his job and will miss his kindness, Thanks For everything Mr. Mandt.
  23. Oh boy what a nice day for PKI. Let's see I went to AZ first and entered at 10 AM first ride was Delirium, great. Then It was off to Face/Off, Allways a great ride and I saw my Buh D Willie sweeping up stuff under the lift so I yelled at him while being lowered into the station. Sob was a walk on in the morn then it got a very big line. Top Gun ehh Im not a big fan walk on. DZ full queue Gar! Allways fun though. Beast Vortex and Racer were running the fastest they have in a while. AE was great then I got on Delirium again and met Sparky "AZ Kinda Guy". Then I made my way home.
  24. Delirium has a height Limit because the seats are very very small so tall guests just won't fit.
  25. I wonder what Ohio's reasoning for "No Inverter Ships" is . On to other topics I am the right height and sizr for every ride so I don't have any problems but I do see why Delirium has it's Height limit because I fit real snug in the seat and you are very close to the riders next to you.
