^^Cedar Point, not Kings Island.

lol, i don't pick up on hints like that usually, but searching through some of his quotes, i came across this one:
"We are not trying to entertain the critics. I'll take my chances with the public."one that a lot of us on here, including myself, sometimes have difficulty understanding.
-
^which one? he had so many.
-
i was there last sunday, it wasn't overly crowded, but there was a decent crowd.
...but who knows really, it could end up being a dead day.
-
if i'm reading that correctly, i hope i'm not.
-
like mentioned earlier, it could be a holding area for props, or the park decided that the station could be used as storage, and since the exit isn't actually welded closed, like so many think, it can easily be opened and things brought into the station for storage.
it could even be something like, the park could have purchased new trains for Son of Beast and are currently remodeling the station to fit the trains correctly, unlike the other two times when the trains were modified/changed.
i just don't see it being used as a Halloween Haunt maze, especially when if it were they would have to build some form of flooring, that would have to meet building codes to cross the track in the station.
-
i'm sorry, but i don't see how the park placing walls up in Son of Beast's station equals new haunt maze, i just don't.
sure, it could, but it could mean so many other things as well.
coaster_junky, who's normally wrong when it comes to speculation, but maybe for once isn't.

i voted rivertown, something about it just draws me to it first every visit, even if i don't ride anything there first.
my three ride lineup is:
- Son of Beast
- Diamondback

^^i know, i was referring to the post about how if a zoo visitor saw a trainer/keeper smoking, they could always report it to guest relations.
edit:
as far as i know, neither smoke, but what's stopping them from doing it in the privacy of their offices?
Nothing, but what's the harm of them smoking in the privacy of their offices?
the zoo sometimes gives 'backstage' tours, just like Kings Island does, smoke is one smell that i cannot stand,(but i hold nothing against those who do smoke though.) and if i was going to have paid the extra money to get one of these tours, i know i wouldn't want to have to fight the smell of smoke that's lingered into the interior hallways.
-
i know for a fact that the two head trainers for the elephant house have offices located *inside* the elephant house, the interior of the elephant house is off limits to the public, unless being given a special tour.
as far as i know, neither smoke, but what's stopping them from doing it in the privacy of their offices?
* i didn't mean for this to sound rude, just trying to state a fact.

@sob_tom
they never said that it wasn't an act of discrimination, at least what is being discriminated against in this situation is something a person has control over.
unlike in kentucky, where now, if driving and talking on the phone, you're allowed, unless you're under the age 18.
...but i'm kind of confused on how they are going to enforce the rule, they said they can check for traces of nicotine in an employee's body, don't they make products that help people to quit smoking by adding nicotine to their system?
-
yes, paramount destroyed ki's themed area's with their additions to the park, but at least when they added something new, it had amazing theming to it, tomb raider's ride chamber/ pre-show chamber, italian job's theming, the theming in top gun's que, paramount story, ect...
since paramount has left paramount story has became the bland tower gardens, nearly all the theming as been removed from the crypt, backlot has lost it's multi-colored trains, splashdown and other water effects, ect...
both have done their fair share of damage theming wise, but don't get me wrong, i love Cedar Fair.
-
jackson, i wouldn't get too excited about a ride announcement:
-
sunday while standing in line for Flight of Fear:
guy: Flight of Fear was installed in '82, then back in '07 they installed Firehawk to make the ride longer.
_____________________________________
same guy: Son of Beast was removed last year.
girl w/ guy: no it wasn't, it's still standing.
guy:(to employee at height check station) didn't you take out Son of Beast last year?
employee: umm... no, Son of Beast is still standing.
guy: well, it isn't on the map.

Basis: 1(B )
First Use Date: (DATE NOT AVAILABLE)
First Use in Commerce Date: (DATE NOT AVAILABLE)
i guess this is the new name, at first i thought that was the brand name of the ride, like giga-coaster, diving machine, ect...
-
don't know if this has been said before, but yesterday when i was stepping into 2-2 on the blue train on backlot, i noticed that the blue paint was peeling off, revealing RED paint.
i was under the impression that Kings Island had taken the single cars of each color from each of the three trains, and linked them together.*
*sorry if that doesn't make sense.

Old Terp has always referred to that seat as the Magic Seat. If you think that was fun, you should try it on Magnum XL-200...especially when the midcourse brake is off. Or not!
because of you saying that one time i decided to ride there, i think my second ride ever on it, i though i jarred my teeth out. lol

^i'm seventeen and i love disney world, just sayin'.

Which means that if SOB was renovated in 2007/2008, the cars were used in 2008 for Haunt.
Son of Beast was renovated over the '06/'07 off-season, and opened back to the public (*i think*) the fourth of july weekend '07.

okay, then let me rephrase, it's the superman model, and it's nearly identical to the superman flying coasters found at three six flags parks.
-
it's a superman model, so it's identical track stat wise.
-
*looking at it from the front* is that a hinge on the left arm?
also, since that is the crypt, and that is outdoors, could that be where they discovered that it truly can't run outdoors in the elements?
